I am just not happy with…read moreBWW in Beaverton, but two things will make me give up the search for a better sports bar...1) the size of the TV's. 2) Service, while being inconsistent, they actually come to your table to take orders. When I entered Bleachers, I sat at a table directly across from the bar. The female bartender seemed to act like I had to go to the bar to order my beverage and get a menu. She did tell me about the $2.00 Taco Tuesday promotion, but I was in the sandwich mode. I am not a fan of the bartender eating in front of customers, but that is what Bleachers is...basically a dive. The poker machines, or whatever they are, were all full. The bartender told me the Chicken Tortilla hot was not spicy so it seemed like a good choice with my Patty Melt. It was okay. I ate about 1/2 of it. The Patty Melt was loaded with onions, which typically is not a bad thing...but I couldn't taste the cheese, 1000 dressing or even the burger. It was at least served on rye bread. The thing that I noticed was that at least three people came up to the bar with an empty glass, wanting another. Two corrections...get the bartender in the restaurant as well to take orders and check on her clientele or add a server to take orders. I guarantee sales would increase, or maybe they are in the sales prevention program. Service was non existent and food was just okay. I will not be back.

I was sitting at the bar listening to three customers, who were obviously regulars, making homophobic comments. The bar tender joined in the laughs. While I know Bleachers is not a "gay bar" it should work on making everyone feel welcome.

I started with a tall double Captain and Diet Coke. It was a heavy pour. Two thumbs up. Great way to begin the evening right. I can see this place packed on a game day. There are standing bar areas in between the actual bar and booths around the perimeter. For my dinner, I ordered some appetizers as I wasn't very hungry - Sliders and chicken tenders with an upgrade to garlic parmesan fries. Slider buns were crispy from the griddle. Little Hawaiian buns. The burger sauce kind of tasted like thousand island. Wasn't my favorite but I am not a big fan of anything other than ranch or ketchup. The chicken tenders were a tad dry but I dipped them in sauce and they were fine. Five came to an order. All of the sauces were all good. My Waiter was Brian who was also the bartender. He checked in on me a couple of times. He poured one heck of a strong drink. I was happy as a clam. This is my kind of place. Enjoyed it so much and the convenience of the location that I returned the following evening and ordered the same thing. I was helped by Christie. She was just as professional, attentive and cordial as Brian. I would most definitely recommend this restaurant.

We had a few beers, and the bartender was fantastic--she let me sample a couple before I picked one, which was really appreciated. The food was great too. I ordered the sliders and mozzarella sticks, and both were delicious. The atmosphere was fun, the service was friendly, and it was the perfect spot to watch soccer with friends. If we're back in Portland, we'd definitely come back!

My girlfriend and I live a block away from it in the Pearl District and it's always so fun to go too. Also side note - my parents visited a few weeks ago from California and really enjoyed the experience here for a quick drink on a Saturday afternoon. That makes a difference for sure! The owner is always so nice too here. Keep it up!

Right off the bat I knew I'd enjoy it because there were TV's everywhere! Grabbed a seat at the bar, which was pretty active. Before I begin, I've gotta say the bartender, Lincoln (I think she goes by Linc) was fantastic. She was not only handling the bar but the entire restaurant! She was extremely knowledgeable and attentive to everyone, pretty amazing in itself. Linc recommended a local draft, RPM IPA, which was awesome. For dinner she quickly recommended the Kickin' Chicken Sandwich, which I agreed to. Kickin' Chicken is a must try if you visit this place. Super tasty, moist and not overwhelming with heat. Amazing sandwich and perfect size. It comes with potato wedge fries that are also really good.
