I've walked the trails with my jogging stroller on the unpaved portions and did fine. This is a great park if you want or avoid the congestion found at most other central Medina city parks especially during the summer and grade school spring break.

I highly recommend this park for dog walking. We make two loops on the Trillium Trail to tire our pup out and let him get in his sniffs for the day. Hubbard Valley is also a great fishing spot if that is your thing. There is a small playground for the kids and a pavilion available for use or rental. They have ample parking and restrooms on site as well.

The trail itself is a little over one mile paved from end-to-end. If you find yourself aching for more mileage, you can easily continue onto the neighborhood sidewalks. I found the entire park and the length of the trail well maintained, mowed, pruned, and litter-free. There's an event space, aptly named The Trolley Line House. It has the cutest signage featuring a model trolley and the exterior is decorated for fall. There's a bicycle parking rack and maintenance station for basic repairs or tube changes. Down by the parking area is a large picnic pavilion with four tables and electrical outlets. On the other side of the event house is a fire pit and I'd love to join a gathering here. All in all, it's a truly great little park. Can't wait to see if the trail gets extended - I'd be here even more if it was.

The only negative, which doesn't really reduce my rating at all, nor does it keep the kids from having fun, is the fact that some areas do need some repair work. This is why it's important to leave a donation on your way out, if you're able. Hopefully this park can be maintained for years to come!

In very congested surroundings, this cute little park offers an educational experience as well as pleasurable. Here you will find tree plaques throughout the trail that inform you about the local species. There is also a number of exercise stations, generous playground, a small fraction of ledges hugging a tiny stream and an adorable butterfly garden! With two trails to choose from, you think it would be impossible to get lost. However, the old carved map is slightly misleading. Whichever trail you decide to explore you'll begin at the same starting point ;straight ahead you'll see a tiny wooden bridge- this path leads you wandering around...you cannot distinct between path & surroundings as nothing is marked. If you avoid this & veer to the right, one trail loops around the park while the other eventually takes you through a series of backyards & a golf course. Each trail is made up of twisting roots & tiny gravel so if you have a decent stroller (avoid the trail with a street name & take the loop only) you should be able to enjoy the park without any hiccups.

Beautiful quiet lake park hidden between Rt. 18 and Granger Road. Both have entrances and nice…read moreparking lots. At the Granger lot was a Port-a-Potty. A lot of outdoors activities can be done here...walking, fishing, biking, canoeing and crossover-country skiing. The paths are wide. One is paved and one is gravel. The 1.4 mile Greenway Trail goes by here, as well as The Buckeye Trail. Woods surround one side of the large lake, and houses can be seen on the other side. A few benches are placed along the upper trail. Come to walk and view the scenery, including the sunsets.
