I brought my Tory Burch canvas and leather bags to have them cleaned. I was given an estimate of 250.00 per bag!! The owner said he normally charges for an estimate. I'm trying Tory Burch in the mall. Would not recommend even though the shoe guy next door recommended Leonard. read more

Be careful--you will get ripped off. Agreed to $30 alteration, pick up the brand new, sequence dress and they charge me $70!!! When I tell them I didn't want or agree to this new dress being steamed their reply was "it was done so the dress falls nicely. It is the level of work we do". So now I paid $40 EXTRA to clean a dress that was new and already clean, and most importantly I DID NOT AGREE TO THIS. Awful way to treat a customer. So disappointed. read more

Yes a total price gouger. When in to have a leather coat slightly altered and they tried to charge me $35 more than the original quoted price. As a repeat customer I asked them if they could adjust the price and they said it was in the computer and couldn't be adjusted. Extremely rude and dismissive so I went down the street and have the same job done for $50 instead of $85. read more

The best dry cleaners I have ever used period! I had a ball point pen explode in my shirt pocket. Ink went all over my shirt. I was about to throw one of my favorite shirts out but thankfully I decided to bring it to my dry cleaners. They told me that they would try to get it out. I was very skeptical. Two days later, I picked up my shirt and to my amazement all the ink was gone and my shirt looked brand new. I do not know of any other dry cleaners that could do this quality of work. read more

Their prices are reasonable, they do a fantastic job and the owner and staff are always pleasant and curteous. The last time I was there, the owner, not just offered, but insisted that he help me carry my dry cleaning to the car, which was parked a block away. Im only giving 1 star not bc they offered inferior cleaning etc. I'm giving 1 star b/c I was quoted an astronomical fee for my wedding dress to be cleaned. I was a given a cleaning price of $500! The owner must have seen "wedding" dress as an opp to over charge! after it was explained why it would be so much I said I was going to see if I could get my dress cleaned for less and he said I wouldnt and "I would be back". Well I didn't need to go back as I went around the otherside of the main part of town to Gateway Cleaners and he did a great job for $45! He will preserve your dress too if you would like also for a reasonable rate. Just be careful here and elsewhere as many vendors will overcharge for any service related to a "wedding". read more

Leonardo, the owner of Leonard Anthony Cleaners, is an expert and has saved belongings of mine that are irreplaceable. When I moved from a house I was renting I left a box of my favorite clothing and coats. Unfortunately, I left it behind and let my landlord know. My landlord said he would keep my clothing safe in his own home. Unfortunately, he put my box in an outdoor storage that must have been wet and mold grew over my clothing. I thought my things were safe but 6 months past and my landlord dropped off my clothing in a plastic bag at my new home. He drove away and I could see the black spots through the plastic bags. I was worried and when I went to my room I opened it up. I was horrified. My favorite things were covered with mold--green and black. The condition of the clothing that day seems vague because now the dress looks beautiful. I will never forget the day I contacted him. My Grandma looked him up all the way from Michigan. Because I live in Ridgewood, NJ the location was perfect. I called him when I finished work and he said he would meet me even though I would get there 15 minutes before closing. He met me and took my stuff. I came to Leonardo desperate. I told him how much all of this stuff meant to me and he said he would do his best. He was sincere, hopeful and understanding. Most of all, he was kind. The story has a happy ending! He completely cleaned my red holiday dress and restored my Grandmother's fur coat. After dedicating time, patience and skill he called me to pick up my red dress and fur coat. Poof, everything looked brand new again. I would recommend him to everyone!
