I went with the upward and downward angular lean mount which was the lowest-priced selection, yet other companies would have the same mount as their 2nd lowest-priced option $30 or higher. Called Arthur and he arranged to have a same day technician to come by, which was nice. he did warn me that an in home estimate would cost $90, but that it would come off the price of the job in case i didn't want to hire them. I am sort of a hostage at that point, but fine, it was a small and easy job that i was confident he could come by and complete the job within the hour. Alex the technician comes and i tell him what i want to do, and he gives me the run around making excuses saying he can't move an existing tv plug to the other side of the room. excuses about the house is too old, or that there is wood in the walls so he cant hide the wires behind the wall and that he cant go through the ceiling because there are rafters and they are going the other way. I asked him for a tv plug in the way, he asked why not just have the wire running out of the wall? i said i wanted a plug in case something happens to the wire, he gave an excuse saying that the wire would bend now and it wouldn't work. I asked him to connect a cable to the existing coaxil and bring it to the other side of the room. He said he doesn't want to extend the existing cable because then the signal is lost. His response was to call rogers and get them to do it. I'm sorry, but i called the tvinstallation experts and all i got was the runaround and excuse after excuse for them to turnaround and charge me $90 for telling me to call rogers.
