three cupcakes on a glass plate
    Erin J.

They were running a special to buy 2 get one free, so obviously I participated in that! The staff was so kind, however the cupcakes were very dry. The icing was tasty but the cake was really hard on top and just dry throughout. I wanted to love them but unfortunately just couldn't. Hopefully it was just an off day!

Cupcakes were moist and delish wit high so many options to choose from. just wish the worker wasn't so rude and more friendly

Located near the Basilique of Notre Dame, this shop has cupcakes, ice cream and macarons. They have a few vegan cupcakes: The Choco-Ganache is topped with chocolate ganache. The Vanilla is topped with vanilla frosting. Their frostings are too sweet for me. But the cakes are moist and barely sweet, which I like.

    Vegan choices!

We have a kid with dairy egg and nut allergies so not all ice cream parlors are created equal. While they do say there may be trace amounts of cross contamination, they used a new scoop on request and showed me the ingredients in the vegan ice creams to make sure I knew what was in it (only allergen I saw was soy but thankfully our kid isn't allergic to it). They also had six sorbet flavors. Kid loved it all!

This little gem not only sells cupcakes but also serves my favourite ice cream brand- Bilboquet! I come here quite often once spring is here to grab ice cream on a nice sunny day. My favourite flavours are: brouhaha and their sorbets. They are also well known for their cupcakes and my favourite flavours are: 1) red velvet and 2) caramel salé. Check it out if you're in the old port to satisfy your ice cream and or cupcake craving. The calories are so worth it :-)

Definitely a little bit of a tourist trap but good for a quick, expensive cone. They offer the cutest mini cone, a size I've never seen in the States. For 3.69$, you can get a regular, single cone, as well. I got the pistachio, which had a few chunks but I found a bit too artificial tasting, like it was made with pistachio extract. It was still very refreshing. My husband got the caramel with chocolate chunks, which was decadent. A handful of seats including comfy chairs in the front. Also has a public bathroom.

Such a cute place, just next to the Notre dame de Montreal. The cupcake was adorable and the staff was lovely

This place is so adorable right next to the notre dame de Montreal. The staff was lovely and the cupcake delicious! Love the Halloween decorations

I am not a fan of cupcakes. I prefer to get my calories from other types of deserts, like chocolate deserts :) I was walking at the old port and finally decided to try the glaceurs. The place was beyond my expectations. And I can say that it is the best place for cupcakes . I went there during an afternoon and asked the sales women what was their top 2 cupcakes. She answered direclty , our best is the red velvet and the vanilla cupcakes. I tryed the red velvet and it was really amazing ! it was tender, fluffy from the inside and chocolaty. The topping was sweet to perfection. It was the exact right amount of every ingredient. This is how you get a client to by other cupcakes. I do recommand this special red velvet cupcake.

    Too cute. Cactus anyone?

Very happy that a cupcakerie exists in this town. Just a stone's throw from Notre Dame Basilica so there's no excuse to not go because when in Montreal, you have to see the Celine Dion Church. This is my second time here and it's so good and the staff is so nice. They also have little mini cupcakes in case you're like me and find yourself just eating through Montreal like there's no tomorrow.

Wonderful bakery! It smells so good the second you walk in. They have a wonderful selection of cupcakes, macaroons and ice cream. I was visiting Montreal for my birthday with my family and decided I wanted a small birthday cake. They was able to make me a cake in just 1 day! I'm so grateful to them. Their ice cream is so good I had some both when ordering the cake and the next day picking the cake up.

Custom engagement theme cupcakes. The ring one was so cute, I didn't even want to eat it!!

Great cupcakes (With the exception of the carrot cake... It has walnuts. Just not a fan of walnuts.) I walked past here one day while my boyfriend and I were in Montreal and I marveled at the cute display. Didn't get a chance to go in that day but my boyfriend proposed a day later and surprise surprise, he had custom cupcakes made from Les Glaceurs. They were adorable and my fiance told me they were super accommodating and the only place he could reach out to for help with the engagement (since many places are French speaking). Only thing is they got the date wrong for the customization but didn't really bother us but could see that being problematic with other custom orders. We were really happy with the outcome, minus the typo. The cashier was super nice and congratulated us on our engagement and said she was so pleased to have a part in our special day. That was very sweet. Would highly recommend this bakery.

Red Velvet and Cookie Dough cupcakes!

My friend and I walked on over for some dessert after eating lunch at Olive et Gourmando. Les Glaceurs serves the most heavenly, delightful, enjoyable, scrumptious, delectable, soft, fluffy, yummy, and visually appetizing cupcakes I have come across in Montreal! An added bonus: They sell Bilboquet ice cream AND Macarons! What else could a woman need? Seriously. For the longest time, Itsi Bitsi has been my all-time favourite for cupcakes, but now... they have some serious competition! I tried Les Glaceurs' Red Velvet (instant winner), and Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough - both were good, but the Red Velvet stole my heart.

Picked up half a dozen cupcakes for the Easter weekend. I got to enjoy half of the "Caramel Sale" and the "Red Velvet". I'll be honest, the Caramel Sale was out of this world good but the red velvet was pretty good too! I think war can be stopped if we just delivered thousands of these cupcakes to them. Finally a cupcake place with actually really good cupcakes! Price-tag is OK, shame there's none in Laval....

The chocolate ice cream on the other hand is super saturated (note the Dutch chocolate is the same as the sea salt except the salt). While I loved the ice cream, unless I'm specifically in the mood for something creamy, I actually think I would prefer to get the sorbets next time for the more concentrated gelato-like flavor. The matcha sorbet seemed like a winner, but they also have such a wide range of delicious flavors. They let you try some flavors, which is perfect for an indecisive person like me. And the servers are so sweet!

We first got a double scoop of the Orange and Arctic Fire Sorbets. I'm not usually one to get orange-flavoured desserts/drinks since I can easily get some old-fashioned OJ, but this Orange Sorbet was absolutely divine on the hot day. Sweet and tangy, yet not overpowering. The Arctic Fire was an interestingly sweet with a floral tone - I wish I remembered the main ingredient, but I was too busy indulging in my ice-cream/sorbet addiction. The sorbets were incredibly good. After we devoured them, we went back in immediately to try more flavours. My friend and I ultimately decided on the Mango and Passion Fruit Sorbets, both representing tangy fruits that we enjoy and love. The owner highly recommended the Cantaloupe to help us cool off, and proceeded to give us a free scoop on top of our packed cup! We were so appreciative of the free scoop, and I'm glad we got to try it out! It was my favourite flavour - it genuinely tasted straight like the fruit, just an ice-y form. My friend's favourite was the Orange. If you're in the Mont-Royal area, make sure to give this place a try! I wish we tried some of their ice-cream flavours, but we already did 5 different sorbet flavours that night. Couldn't afford a brain freeze! I think from now on, I'm gonna start trying Orange-flavoured desserts/drinks.
