I went here on a whim around 2:00 on a Friday. They just opened this location a couple of months ago. The place was clean and nicely decorated. The staff seem friendly. I went for a soak off of acrylics that I had on for about 3 1/2 weeks that were growing too long. Another place put them on. It took them several soaks to get them off but they were very friendly in doing so. I went for shellac but the gentleman encouraged me to get the dip powder. Since I was pushed for time I decided to go with the powder. The lady that did them was very friendly and personable. I have gone places where the tech barely said 2 words. I prefer talking lol! I do not leave reviews at all but this time I am fed up. If you can help it DO NOT go here. These people are so rude especially the old man who works there. HORRIBLE. He is disrespectful and so very rude and to play it off just because he's old or because English isn't his first language?? Doesn't give you a pass dude. I'd give this place 0 stars if I could. I am not one to leave bad reviews, nor overly complain about an experience bc some people have bad days. However, I have gone to this specific nail place twice with 2 horrible experiences. This last time a simple pedicure (my feet don't require a lot of digging or attention so it's the basic one) led to me having a BACTERIAL INFECTION. I am now on week 3 of this. I have had a full round of antibiotics and have continued to keep ointment on it and now I'm back at the doctors to get it drained. So, a couple hundred dollars later and a whole lot of pain - all for a poor pedicure and unkind staff. 1 star forced in order to post! Tried this place for the first time to spite the negative reviews online. I should have heeded the warnings. We arrived just before closing on a Friday not knowing their operating hours. Upon entering the business we were asked what service we wanted...(it's at this point we should have been told they would be closing soon - we then would have made the decision to come back at another time) Once seated at the pedicure tubs, no one seemed to acknowledge us. (1st red flag) 12 minutes later someone hurries over to us and begin to fill the tubs. We were asked what service we wanted. (Still no mention of upcoming closing.) Here's where things really go down hill..(2nd red flag) the man begins to remove the old gel polish from my toenails with the electric nail file! Nail Polish is supposed to be removed with nail polish remover, not an electric nail file that will damage the nail, nail bed and cuticle! Professionals know this. (I guess soaking them would have required too much time as they were soon to close) - now to the 3rd red flag... I was rushed several times to pick a color and the 6 colors I chose from the multicolored palette, THEY DON'T HAVE! Then brought over some outrageous space alien glitter color for me to accept as a replacement color that looks nothing like what I chose! I then tell the man that I don't want any color or polish on my toes - just finish the service. He still brings color over for me to choose. We asked for gel and got the oldest, clumpiest, cheap looking, thin, lack luster, regular nail polish. (If you want to call it that! Looked more like craft paint when applied!) I did not realize the polish was not gel until he applied the first coat and started fanning my toes to dry them like he was trying to put out a fire! Once done we were hurried to the dry station and immediately asked to pay since the lights had been turned off and everyone was at the front of the store waiting by the door with their coats on ready to go! I will start with the good. The place was very clean, and they have an assortment of color options. That's the only good I got. The older woman who did my nails made me feel like she was talking about me the entire time. She would speak and look directly at me and laugh. She lost count of how many coats she did. I had to stop her to tell her one hand got 3 and the other got 2. She was to busy laughing with her coworkers. Then once painted she left. Didn't file them to shape up the frayed nails, or try to get the gel off she painted on my fingers. I'm also pretty sure the color is not even the one I chose. She asked me twice what color and kept looking at the box like she didn't think it was correct. I chose a pale pink and this looks like bubblegum pink. Wow!! Hanna exceeded all my expectations. I showed her a few different pictures of what I wanted & she incorporated all of them into one design. I wish my cuticles would have been cleaned up a little more, but other than that I'm extremely happy with the outcome. She did so good with the little details & they were all so nice. I usually would recommend them. They are clean, quiet and have a great atmosphere. I go in weekly, but today was OFF and I don't think I'll be going back. The older woman was VERY rude to my mom, while she was doing my mom's nails my mom asked her to file her nails and she said "I DON'T DO THAT" my mom was like ok but can you file them down. She reluctantly did it. Then I asked could someone else do my nails because she was rude and rough with my mom. Someone else did them, but she had to polish them. When she polished them she held my hand up and said "better". Over priced. Was charged almost $50 for dip. Was supposed to also get a manicure but they barely did anything. The dip came out goopy looking and a bit uneven. They've didn't even touch my cuticles, & there was no lotion or massage.
