I found myself taking a trip to the beach, and not wanting to have to shave every day. I did some research, saw all the positive reviews for Trudy's Wax Bar, and decided I would give waxing another try. Let me tell y'all, I'm so glad I did! The salon itself was very clean and had a relaxing atmosphere. Trudy was so friendly and knowledgeable. She also doesn't try to sell you a bunch of random products that you don't need!!! I was able to book an appointment through the online portal that day. Walking in, they had upbeat music and friendly employees. I witnessed a client come in who claimed her appointment had been moved, although they had no record of the rescheduled appointment. They were able to accommodate her with someone who had finished her appointment early, and the ladies maintained their professional manner even when the client was rude. My appointment started 10 minutes late, but my wax expert, Joslyn, did not cut my time short, and she spent my allotted time working to shape my brows. She also kept up a nice conversation during the wax which served as a distraction! She tweezed them and cut them as needed as well. My brows came out very nice, well shaped, just as I was hoping. I was given a little brow care package when I finished with some lotions and washes. My skin took a little longer to get rid of the red from the wax, but it was never irritated or broken. I also was pleasantly surprised to find out that my first brow wax was free! I had missed that on the website. The ladies did not push a subscription package on me, which I appreciated. I am a natural blonde, and very pale. when I came I specifically requested for a light brown tint and even showed pictures of myself with makeup on for reference. my girl reassured me that she would do that, but the results were EXTREMELY DARK. (as in like BLACK). Now, I am a very non-confrontational person, so I walked out and told her I liked it. But, when I got to my car I realized just how bad it was. I decided to walk back in and ask if there was anything they could do to lighten it. The brow lady took me back and started scrubbing so hard at my eyebrows. after her scrubbing, it looked a little better, but not great and definitely not what I asked for. she then offered to put the light brown dye on (WHICH IS WHAT I ASKED FOR IN THE FIRST PLACE!!). She had done enough damage though so I politely declined... anyways, I would not recommend going here for eyebrow tinting especially if you are a blonde. I can not speak for the other services there. i cancelled my next appointment and it is such a shame as the staff was very nice. But yea, I'm stuck with sharpie eyebrows for the next few weeks

The place is small and the waiting area is a bit plain, but it very clean. The wax rooms are large and comfortable. No frills. Meagan was great. Very friendly and she made getting a Brazilian from a new person as comfortable she could. Meagan did a good job on both the Brazilian and brow wax and I've been back several times. Don't go expecting an ultra modern, fancy place that offers V-dazzling, coloring, or stenciling. Just a friendly staff that does a great job of performing basic wax services.

They were top rated. I am so glad I came in. The nail technician took great care of me and was able to help me and relieve the pain I was in. Not only was she helpful but she was so nice and told me some advice that I may need to get the pedicures every 3 week due to the way my nail grows to prevent the ingrown. The pedicure was great. Cuticles trimmed. Nails shaped and just overall a great experience. The nail salon was clean as well. I suggest checking this place out.

With only 3 clients in the salon i waited over 30 minutes to be seen and i wasn't worried about it but when i finally got seen the person rushed, was not nice, and continually threw my hands back at me or scratched or cut me. i was there and hour total and waited 30 minutes absolutely disgusting and disrespectful when i was nothing but nice. the nails didn't even turn out good the dip is on the sides of my fingers and so bubbly im so disappointed.
