I know most people don't much care about garbage... that is, until you have a garbage man leave half the can strewn about your driveway with broken glass, and a stink to behold. So... I care about garbage, and the company who deals with it. Les' Sanitary is a good company, run by an honest and reputable man. I haven't always been thrilled with the receptionist in the office when I've called, but all in all, every small issue has been quickly resolved to our satisfaction. The price is right. What is it... $17.50 a month to not have to haul your own trash? That's a steal! I, for one, love my garbage service. I don't however, relish having to repave our "driveway" which looks suspiciously like a city street - due to mostly truck traffic. Those big trucks can be torture on driveways. Be kind to your garbage man. They take care of everything you want rid of. read more

We are moving and reached out to Les' Sanitation for a dumpster to be placed in front of our house. The lady I talked to was very helpful. She knew what we needed and set up a delivery of the dumpster for us. My husband was busy getting rid of stuff we didn't need, then still had more to get rid of. My husband called Les' and they were willing to extend another 5 days which really helped. We may reach out again and do it again, but will have to see what we need. This company is run by good people. You can tell by the way that they treat their customers. I had an issue with billing, I respectfully requested to escalate the issue, the manager listened to me, addressed my concerns and handled the situation very empathetically. Also, on that same day, on a separate account, I had forgotten to bring my trash to the street on trash day. I called the customer service, they reached out to the driver and they were able to get my trash can from the side of my house for me while I was at work. I was blown away! Customer service is great. The office staff is courteous, professional and most of all helpful. Our collector, Mike, recently provided help to us after our feisty little dog decided to run. We certainly would have lost her if he had not stopped and let us know where he saw her wandering. read more

Great company and service! They go above and beyond and we are most appreciative.

After twenty years of service from Les' and responsible customer conduct, I.e., timely bill paying, appropriate use of the supplied waste container; without notice, Les' recently confiscated the customary green-colored receptacle and replaced it with a smaller dark-colored one. When queried, the office staff maintained the smaller receptacle was what the customer's monthly bill allowed; and that a larger, green-colored container (used by the customer for twenty years!) would increase the customer's monthly bill. At that time, Les' office staff also mentioned the route truck driver was upset because loose ashes had been placed in the garbage can (we would never put fresh, or potentially dangerous ashes in the can!), and thus, their response by replacing the receptacle with a smaller one - an action that is punitive at best towards a twenty-year, consistently responsible customer. read more

I have been a customer for over two years. I work six days a week and go to school full time. Because of my schedule I miss taking my trash out a couple times. After missing trash pickup for two weeks I take my trash can down just as the garbage truck is one house up. I whistled and tried to get him to come back but he wouldn't. After calling the office and asking him to come back they want to charge me $20 to have him go around the block and pick up my garbage. What ever happen to the days where people just cared about other people. Seeing how they have an Oligopoly in this area they just can do what ever they want. Charging almost the amount for a month for one pick up is not right. Thanks Les Sanitation for being what I fought for. read more

Again, in it's infinite wisdom, Les' Sanitary has reduced the Lakeside recycle pickup to once a month. This is an inexcusable disservice to your customers and to the environment. I am going to designate a one large container for recycling. When it is full, whatever comes after is going into the landfill. The recycle truck drivers are great though. read more
