She didn't move anything to sweep under it and just talked talked all the time. The fee for her service was very high when she didn't do everything that was supposed to be cleaned. You need to make sure you're not sending some whacko to meet your mother, in her own home, and safe place. Also, my poor mom hasn't EVER had a house cleaner in her whole life. She now is older, and has had health issues for a long time. She also lost her husband a few years ago, and I know she just doesnt have any energy or motivation to do what most people consider every day, simple tasks. A deep clean you say? She only 'cleaned' a few surfaces but left mostly everything else untouched. And she did it in less than 2 hours (a 2bd 2ba) because she barely did anything. I walked through it with her afterwards and caught many things she didn't do like unswept floors, countertops that weren't even wiped down - and she would try and say that something was stained and then I'd ask her to spray her cleaner and it came right off which I knew it would. Or she'd say that she scrubbed this and that and that something was so dirty but it was much better now after she'd worked on it but in reality she hadn't even touched it - ALL LIES! And she never sprayed her cleaner - she just used dry towels but would say her towels were damp with cleaner - another lie. She didn't clean the kitchen sink or the inside or outside of cabinets. She didn't touch the oven or stove, or the laundry machines. While she did clean some things that were big - like windows/screens and the inside of the freezer, she didn't do the inside of the fridge. I didn't catch everything so I paid her what I had agreed to because I'm an honest person. But then I had to go back on several occasions when I felt up to it to clean everything she didn't. This meant I was getting on my hands and knees to clean floors and the inside of bottom cabinets with a bad back and pelvis. She never even brought a broom with her! So basically she ROBBED me of money I didn't have in the first place - living below the poverty line on disability - but she didn't care. And she was super kind and accommodating knowing she was going to rip me off - that's part of how she gets away with it. Don't fall for it - she will fool you if she can and prey on your kindness and honesty. She's a thief and her business is a scam.

Needless to say, that was too much work for only one person to get it done in the allotted time so, of course the cleaner went over the 4 hours. She ended up taking 10 hours to get the job done and the price they quoted me was $580 but, in the end I ended up paying close to $1000 for the job due to the cleaner having to work past the 4 hour deadline. And she still couldn't finish the job completely. I feel like this company completely mislead me by charging almost twice as much as the estimate, They were completely unprofessional because they only sent one cleaner to do the job of 5 people in the time that was allotted. These people are scam artists, and do not ever consider letting these people do any work for you because they are dishonest and will overcharge you!
