Above and Beyond Customer Service! While traveling down to Stockton, California, we were hauling our horse trailer on our way to pick up a new rescue horse for our rescue when my back passenger tire suddenly started losing PSI. After trying to air it up at a gas station, I was able to make it to within just 3 miles of Les Schwab. The manager came out personally and provided roadside service, airing my tire back up. But he didn't stop there. He actually followed us back to the Les Schwab location to make sure we made it there safely, especially knowing we were hauling a horse trailer and had an important rescue mission ahead of us. Once we got to the store, he went above and beyond to take care of the tire and make sure everything was safe and properly handled. He understood that we were trying to get to Stockton to pick up a horse in need, and he did everything he could to get us safely back on the road so we could continue our journey and bring our new rescue home. His professionalism, kindness, and genuine concern for our safety -- and for getting us to our rescue horse -- meant more than he probably realizes. I 100% recommend Les Schwab in Colusa County! I live about 95 miles away, but when it's time for me to replace all four tires on my truck, I will absolutely be making the trip back to this location. Customer service like this is hard to find these days. When someone goes above and beyond to help a customer, especially when they're in a difficult situation, they deserve to be recognized. Visited June 20 2026. After hitting a pothole on the backroads I pulled into Les Schwab in Colusa. There was a slight shimmy. They were super busy already so I am going to take it to Les Schwab in Oroville. They will do appointments as well so you don't have to wait a long time while your car is getting worked on. I had a tie rod and bearing "fixed" here in 2026. It broke with a few months. I called and asked Sammy, the front desk woman who said "I've been here forever" if there was a warranty. She said she would get with mechanic and call me back. She never did. Another time I went in for an alignment, then the mechanic Alphonso tells me he won't do it as I a need to have all my suspension and steering elements replaced. Alphonso did not know I recently had all this done so this is quite suspicious. Another driver in a much more recent model truck was sitting in shock outside the store staring in disbelief at his estimate. I can guess they pulled thesame stunt on him. on my way to Chico for a meeting when I got a flat front tire- (split on the wall). Called the Les Schwab at Colusa who said they could help: ( try even getting a tire shop in the Bay Area to answer the phone) As I arrived Tony came out to see the tire, took me to the counter and showed various options and prices for a new tire- knowing I had a meeting to get to, less than 30 minutes later Tony had replaced two tires and rang me up at the register. Ran over a bolt heading down to Sacramento and was stranded in Williams. Called in and asked if they would be able to help us even though they would be closing soon, they instantly agreed which was awesome. We get towed there and within minutes they fixed our issue (removed a huge bolt) and ended up not charging us anything because no real repair was needed. They were all incredibly kind and thoughtful and that's so rare now days. I don't write reviews, this isn't my thing, but after that experience I decided to make the effort as they did for me. I've been going to Les Schwab for over 20 years, every tire center varies when it comes to speed and service. Your local center usually gives you the best service, because they know you. If I had a complaint it would be that if you have a line of credit with them, it seems like they like to keep your account with a balance. What I mean is that it's like they like to mention concerns, that you may need to run the balance on your credit line. Ultimately it's my choice if I choose to get the work done and put it on my account, if I can't afford the cost. But I've never had an issue on any warranty repairs. And the tires wear nicely with regular rotation. read more

Employee stated that "tire should be above air pressure specs because you're doing heavy highway miles" which upon further research js a completely false statement. My back tires were completely fine before entering this shop and the only reason for front replacement was an alignment issue causing unusual ware. When I first saw nearly 100% 5 star ratings, I really questioned that... however I was pulling a 25' travel trailer and noticed that I picked up a screw in one of my tires. I thought I'd get another 5,000 miles on them but decided to go ahead and replace all 4. Out of Corning, California I started my search as I'm a long time customer of ales Schwab... all were pretty much in the 4.0 range but then noticed this one. Well, Jamie took extremely excellent care of my trailer. First he made sure I had easy directions and estimated how long it would take me to arrive. Was able to get in right away and only lost slightly over an hour for the tire swaps. I have wireless TPMS value covers in which they got the order of placement correct on the appropriate tire matched to my remote monitor. I was impressed as I forgot to mention that to them. While seeing friends on a ranch near Maxwell my right-front tire on my Tundra blew out near Williams in late May. I called the Les Schwab in Colusa and spoke to Alex and he could not have been more accommodating. Alex got a replacement tire and drove it from Colusa to Williams to give to Tony, their mobile tire repair pro. Tony found me out near the rice fields and he was one of the most affable gentlemen I've met, a true credit to the old Les Schwab ethic. Tony got me on the road in short order and I enjoyed the rest of my visit. I'd recommend Les Schwab in Colusa to anyone in the area. I had some concerns about Les Schwab since they were bought by a private equity firm in CA and eliminated the bonuses to all employees except the manager but the customer service ethic is alive and well! read more

I'm only here to add my disappointment in them removing the words "Welcome to Colusa" from their billboard on the way into town. It was such a wonderful way of showing community pride while advertising their business. Oh wow, what to say about this place. As soon as we parked, we were met by the most friendliest employee. To be honest I had never heard of this place before but now I know there are a few around and one in San Carlos apparently. Anyway, we landed here because got a flat tire while making a drive up to an area we didn't know. Once again Yelp came to my rescue. It was the closest repair place off the highway that came up and so we chanced the 11 miles and got there. As I said, we were quickly helped and told there was a hole that could be repaired. Cool, so we sat for a little while and then the most coolest thing happened. Mr. Kolby called us out and told us the car was ready. My husband and I stood there waiting for him to take us in so we could pay for it. He said no charge. What?? No such thing we said, we have to pay. He insisted and told us if we ever needed anything we should just come again. We said we were not from the area, he asked where we were coming from and said there was one close by where we live. Well they have my business. I've been a Costco girl for a long time but I think I'm a Schwab girl now. THANK YOU SO MUCH! My wife had a tire issue on her F350 on Interstate 5 near Williams, CA. She called the Les Schwab in Colusa and spoke with Chris Kiever about getting a truck out there to help her change the tire. Chris gave her an estimate of about an hour for the truck to arrive, which was fine. A little later, Chris called her back to say that his drivers were busy with many calls and that he would head out to help her himself! After the tire change Chris drove with her to the Colusa store, replaced our spare and ordered a new tire which will be delivered to and installed at their Chico location, which is much closer to our home. Needless to say, Chris and all the employees at the Colusa store were great at helping her out and getting her back on the road. Thank you Les Schwab! read more

On 5/23/22, I went in hoping to have a tire patched. However, I was notified that the tire was not able to be patched. I ended up having 4 new tries put on. When I left I noticed that my tires were over inflated by at least 10lbs on each tire. I returned as soon as I noticed and had them set to the correct psi of 33. A couple days later, I noticed my rim was scratched. I called and talked to the manager, Mitch on 5/31, and he asked me to bring my car in so he could look at it. So I took time off work, and drove 30 mins one way. He said that they would replace the wheel and he would let me know in a couple days. The quote I got from Nissan for the new wheel was over $500. I had not heard from them by Friday, 6/3, so I called them, and was told the new wheel would be in approximately Monday or Tuesday. On 6/7, I received the call that the wheel was in, and I told them I would be in on 6/8. On 6/8, I took more time off work and again made the 30 min drive there. It took apprx. 1.5 hrs to put on the new wheel. They also over inflated this tire again, to 39, but I didn't notice until further down the road, and adjusted it myself. When it was done, I tried to talk to the manager, but was told he was no longer in the store. I was hoping for some kind of adjustment to the bill for my missed time from work, and gas spent having to take care of the damage they caused. (I didn't think $100 was unfair, as I lost at least 4 hrs from work and spent at least 25 on gas) After several days of trying to get a hold of the manager, I was finally able to get him on the phone today (6/13). He told me he believed that they have done enough just by replacing my wheel. I am very grateful for the wheel replacement, but it really sucks to be out even more money because they damaged my vehicle. Tires are expensive enough, without the added cost due to their negligence. read more

We used them in an emergency as a tire blew on our fiberglass trailer on Interstate 5. Great service and nice people working there. The only negative would be that they didn't have much to choose from for our trailer needs in an emergency. But I'm sure they could be special ordered. The tires we bought here were manufactured this year which is important for trailers. Their building was well maintained and orderly. Clean restroom. Nice air conditioning waiting area. Absolute life savers!! I was driving from Sacramento to go hiking and my tire low light came on the freeway. It seemed to me as if i was in the middle of no where. My wife and I had left Ukiah in route to San Diego to take my son to college. The day prior I had put new wheels on our vehicle. While driving on Hwy 20 I noticed vibration coming from the steering wheel and felt that the wheels were not properly balanced. I was not about to get on Interstate 5 that way so I googled for Les Schwab and found this place. Let me start by saying the wheels were NOT purchased from Les Schwab. They quickly got my vehicle in and confirmed that the wheels were way out of balance. Tony was the name of the service representative who helped us and he was awesome. Tony went above and beyond in making sure my vehicle was safe for the trip and got all of the tires balanced. He spent plenty of time explaining the issue to me and we were quickly back on the road. Imagine my surprise when we got a call about 20 minutes later from Tony. He was following up to make sure the problem was resolved. That kind of follow up is rare these days. Another WOW. We were in the vicinity on Saturday when our car started making scary noises in the rear end. These guys were still open and they diagnosed the problem to the rear wheel which had been repaired after a fender bender. They quickly opened up the brake area and found that one of the main bolts had come loose and was rattling around in the parking brake, jamming every once in awhile. They went so far as to fix and rivet the fiberglass siding on our 5th wheel that had been damaged by the blow out.
