We had a very disappointing experience with this dealership. Before making the trip, we specifically asked multiple times for detailed information and videos of the SUV because we would be driving over 6 hours round trip to see it. We were assured the vehicle was in good condition. When we arrived, it was immediately clear that the SUV had significant damage and had major cosmetic issues that were never disclosed and avoided in the photos/videos. These were not minor details that could have been overlooked--they were obvious problems that should have been communicated upfront. Knowing how far we were traveling, it would have been basic courtesy and professionalism to be transparent. Instead, we spent an entire day and a lot of energy on a trip that could have been avoided with honest communication. Buyers should make sure they get extremely detailed information and proof of condition before traveling, as our experience showed that the information provided was not accurate. The sales associate John will lie to your face they've done all the inspections. The cars is in great condition. Everything works. My backup. Sensors are bad problems with the interior. I called and spoke to a service advisor about 2 safety recalls on my 2022 F-150. We scheduled an appointment. Since it was a new truck, we added an oil change to the scheduled maintenance. I live about an hour away. I dropped off the truck at 3 PM on the day prior to the scheduled maintenance. At 3:30 the next day I hadn't heard from the service department about my truck so I called. A few minutes after 4 PM I got a call back. The oil change was done but neither of the service recalls were done. I would need to reschedule for them. The bottom line is I spent a combined 8 hours of my wife's and my time and 6 hours of vehicle driving time to get an oil change on my truck. Worse, because it took over 10 business hours for the oil change, I had to reschedule an event. This is extremely poor customer service...and it's not the first time this kind of thing has occurred. I have purchased two expensive trucks from this dealership but won't buy another one from them. They lost a customer. read more

Amazing customer service!!! I had been to 5 different dealerships in search of my Jeep Wrangler. Even drove 2 hours to Sacramento to finalize a Jeep purchase and was instantly let down with a ticking sound on the engine of the Jeep Wrangler I was about to get. To add to my previous review from 5/11/21 where not one ounce of help was offered even from their "business manager". Not only was my front suspension replacement done through Chevy for a total of $2,300 with my "bumper to bumper" warranty that Hoblit sold me. My rear suspension was shot too. Chevy has quotes my $1,700 for that as my "bumper to bumper" warranty does not cover that either. Needless to say, Hoblit Motor sold me a piece of crap that they magically said passed their 250 point inspection. Watch out for Media sales guy named Jose. After signing contract and driving away with my truck, I received a new contract via fed ex. When I ask why? He told me that I missed a signature on the contract so they were sending a new one. When I looked at my copy of the contract, there was no missed signature. They had removed a warranty section that was included in the sale (SNEAKY BUSTARDS). Jose kept calling and asking if I had signed and sent contract yet. When I told him that all signature were there, they said to bring the truck back and that his manager (Brandon) would tear up the contract This was like 5 weeks after I already had possession of the truck. I purchases a brand new 2019 f 150 from HOBLIT FORD, in COLUSA CA. The day I purchased this truck it wI as a sunny day, I did not see the bad paint job on the hood of this truck. As I post this, this truck is still under warranty....it has 18,000.00 miles on it, did not know the day I bought it, I was going to end up being handicapped....I could not wash this truck. I have never driven this truck through any car washes, the brushes can/will ruin the paint. This past summer, I paid someone that was helping me at my house to wash this truck, after the dried this truck, they came in to inform me that the paint is bad on the hood. I went out to look, seen the problem, it has lighter green streaks on the hood, this is under the gloss? finish of this hood, you cannot RUB it out. Went back to HOBLIT FORD IN COLUSA CA. as FORD CORPORATE recommend, take pic's forward them to us. I waited 2 weeks, called HOBLIT, the guy that took the pictures did NOT send them to Corporate, reason being, it was his 3rd day on the job, he did not know how to send them to Corp. I called Corp, they told ME to find a body shop to get more pic's sent to them, I did, Ford told ME to call around find a shop to re paint this hood, I got an estimate of $4000.00, or you can call around find a body shop that will work with Ford to get this WARRANTY COVERED, I called 12 different shops, NONE of them had facilities to paint this truck. Ford offered to buy this truck back...ok, does not make sense to me, but ok. Corp. him hawed around for 2 months, got an email today, stating they will NOT buy this truck back...I responded with, I did not EVER WANT you to buy this truck back, I only wanted FORD to fulfill they warranty work...You can visit Face Book under Fords or gardening sites, pets sites...name it...I have all the time in the world to keep posting what FORD has put me through! read more

We got the vehicle we wanted. The personnel at Hoblit did their job. They "sold" it to us. No negotiation. There is very limited inventory around in the vehicle we wanted, so they wouldn't budge a bit on the price. But we got the vehicle we wanted. We were told that it would be "detailed" before we took possession. "Detail" to them consisted of spraying it with water. They didn't even try to rub it with a rag or dry it. They blamed the dirt and filth on the environment. To be proud to show it off, we had to wash our new $60,000 vehicle ourselves with a paper towel. But we got the vehicle we wanted and are very pleased with it. read more

Brandon, who was very condescending to me on the phone, added a 3000 warranty to the purchase price which was never discussed nor was it disclosed that they added it and never came close to the amounts we previously talked about. In July 2021 I bought a 2015 F150 4x4 at Hoblit Motors in Colusa CA. Before I left the lot I happened to check the air filter. It was packed with dirt and weeds and seeds. They did not have any in stock (for one of the most numerous Ford trucks made) so I knocked the dirt and weeds off and put it back in. They said they would send me one - and they did - after about a month. I drove the truck for a week and found that it rode very rough on anything except the smoothest roads. They couldn't tell me why. I also found that this truck easily lost traction and skidded sideways often - even on dry surfaces when accelerating or braking moderately. Two months and 2000 miles later the Check Engine light came on and I took it in to have it checked. The mechanic told me the problem was that the spark plugs had never been changed in over 140,000 miles and were simply burned away at the tips. After paying over $300 for finding the spark plug problem and having them replaced I happened to be near a tire dealership and went in and had them check the wheels and suspension. They told me the tires were 10 ply which is usually found on heavier rough service trucks and off road vehicles and that they did not flex as much as normal 4 ply mud and snow tires and so would give a rough and jittery ride. A set of good quality replacements will cost me over $1200. I would suggest that Hoblit is not the place to buy a car or have your vehicle serviced. read more

She understood the frustration we dealt with and didn't make any excuses. While I will likely never buy another car from Hoblit, if you are interested in working with them, Daurice keeps her word! From my experience, if they follow her lead, Hoblit will do well. If they continue down the road they were on a few months ago, that potentially great small dealership will be gone soon.
