Had a rotation and alignment done at Les Schwab's Ocean Beach store- it was messed up royally. Car pulled to the right so bad I fought to keep it on the road and the steering wheel was tweaked to the right and not center. Obviously I did not take it back to the place that screwed it up so I called Les Schwab on Industrial Way and they fixed the alignment and rotation in an hour. Came in to check low tire pressure warning light. No tires were low. Was told the sensors were bad but they had none in stock. Shipment was coming in the morning. Fine, set an appointment for 10am. When I arrived no appointment on the books, only the bid that was written by Steve. Fine. Leave vehicle they will get to it when they can. They called me 2 hours later, all done. Great. Come to pick up, ask if they resurface rotors, get a 5 minute lecture of how the process works, and that I need to make an appointment, I interrupt and repeat I'm just asking if you do it. Lady gets rude, doubles down on the lecture of process and appointments. Fine, I submit to the over communication. Pay for sensor replacement and take my keys. Get to my Toyota FJ and see the spare tire mounted to the back is missing its cover. Open the back door and it's been tossed in there. I'm pretty furious at this point because they weren't asked to take it off, and if they needed to take it off they should have put the damn thing back on. Was driving from Seattle to meet a client in Kelso. Had new tires put on a month or two ago and hadn't taken my car on the freeway since the new tires. Noticed some uneven driving on the way down and tried to make an appointment at a local Longview shop. When I arrived for my appointment at another shop they said they weren't able to do an alignment on a BMW so I called Les Schwab and they got me in within the hour and fixed my issue. Good service and nice staff. It's a chain so if you read what they can and can't do you should be fine. I have never had a problem. When Toyota was telling I needed new brakes after 30,000 I took it here and they said I was fine and got new brakes at 65,000. They could have said something different but they didn't and they got my business. I wouldn't leave my car there overnight because of the problems around those parts. read more

This place does more than tires! Kevin was a God-sent, our boat trailer winch belt broke when picked up at Kamala mariner, we needed to head back to Seattle. We called many auto and trailer repair shops, they either did not do it or too busy, we picked up the new winch from a shop, the shop owner pointed us to Les Schwab Longview WA. I called in this morning at 9:26 to get added to a drop off waiting list. Lady on the telephone told me they would give me a call as it got closer to a time and gave me a rough estimate of two and a half hours to receive a call. I waited til about 12:20 and then decided to just go in. The woman I spoke to at the front counter gave me a rough estimate of 45 minute wait. Turned into 1 hour and 35 minutes before they even pulled my car in. Once it was pulled in I watched about 10 employees circle it (it's an odd car, gets a lot of attention). They jacked the car up in the air for about 5 minutes and then let it back down, I watched several other cars (10-15 at least) leave before I was even updated on my progress. About 1 hour after my car was pulled in they finally grab me from the indoor seating and tell me they cannot change my tires because I am running 1" hub adapters. Obviously you guys saw that right when you pulled it in, why waste an hour of my day to tell me you cannot do it. Get your communication in order read more

I felt discriminated against, costumer service is just bad, I live in the area and enjoyed their convenient location for a few years, I own a trucking company and have been coming here to their commercial section, honestly the guy doing my tires was never friendly in all the times that I went there but he always did a good job so that kept me satisfied. Yesterday I came in to buy 4 tires from them and brought 4 spares, to change all 8 on my truck, the guy said he doesn't wanna do it, it was about 4:30 pm truck section is closing at 5 pm but they could still till 6 I was told when I called before coming in, so I thought I'm gonna go inside and talk to his manager, so he came out to see what I needed and said "we are not interested" what the heck? I'm not trying to sell you anything, is this a professional nationwide business or an under the table shop?! I need to install all 8 new tires on my truck, I'm buying 4 from you and have 4 spares, you're not interested because I'm not buying all 8 from you? I mean there are plenty of shops that will do it, and it's not uncommon at all for Sami trucks to carry their own spares, but selecting what you wanna do and what you don't based on how busy you are is wrong! read more

Very disappointed with the incompetence of an employee. Bring work truck in, need u-joints. Schedule an appointment 4 days out. I show up for appointment that I was told would take an hour. I sit for 30 minutes and they come to me and say they don't actually do the work they take it out and take to another business, so it will take about 6 hours or more. This Les Schwab is extremely slow...just to get tires mounted that are on their own wheels i waited over an hour. One would think they would have a crew able to expedite the quick jobs, but apparently they put you in line with all the other customers getting new tires and new brakes or suspension. I would have saved myself time by doing it myself, or just paid to have another tire company do the job. I had low tire pressure on one tire on my new Jeep. I came in without an appointment during a busy time, was greeted quickly and courteously, the service technician found a screw in the tire, repaired it, had me in and out in about 45 minutes (and free popcorn while you wait). Recommended my son, a Service Member, purchase his tires there .... he's now stuck with a flat les Schwab tire with his three year old son. They want $105 an hour to come fix it. Because he's about an hour out, a $400 repair on one tire with travel. I've had a flat tire on the freeway and they came and fixed it for free. I paid them more for tires that I could normally get for less for that reason. Done. Never again. I'd give them zero stars if I had the option. I was very impatient but I was in and out in less than 2 hours, without an appointment. Some of the men were very friendly, others were just more quiet. Either way, I didn't have to deal with any "salesman" during my trip here which really made me the most relieved. I was beyond thankful for the free tire repair. I just assumed I would go in and they would try and sell me new tires because the ones on my car currently aren't the best, they've had a lot of miles on them. While I was there the customer service was so awesome that (knowing my husband needed new tires) I had him come down and they got his tires done in no time at all! The slowest work I've seen. I came to have them reset my tire sensor they had forgotten to do the last time I was here. Told me roughly 15 mins and then I proceeded to wait for an hour just to have them tell me they couldn't fix it and that I had to take my car to the dealership to have it worked on. I was on the road from Portland to Vancouver BC, and got flat tire near this place, I went in right before they're going to close, being greeted even at the parking lot when I parked my car, and they were so nice taking care of my car right away after knowing I have a long drive to Canada. They fixed the problem very quickly until after hour! And they didn't charge me at all! I'll definitely go back for other services in the future with what they have done! I live 25 miles from Longview WA where the Les Schwab Tire Center is that I have used in the past, on Ocean Beach Hwy. I purchased my tires there and Wade could not be nicer or more accommodating. I called both Les Schwab locations yesterday. I told them I wanted my tires rotated, aligned and balance. It's Spring! I like to start fresh. The price difference between the 2 locations OB $160+ Industrial Way $108. I know for a fact I asked OB if I could make an appointment to have the 3 things done I had inquired about. I was told they do not make appointments. They take customers in a first come, first served basis. I read reviews and thought I would try the Industrial Way location for a change. It never occurred to me to ask about an appt there. I assumed what one Les Schwab did, the other would do. So, I rolled in to the Industrial Way location this morning, the day after my phone conversation with both locations, and began to organize my things that I brought to work on. I must have taken too long. A Les Schwab employee came out and stood at my window in the rain and asked if they had helped me. I suggested that would be difficult for them since I hadn't gone into their store yet. I told him I was getting organized and I would be in shortly. My impression was he was less concerned about helping me than being sure I was not a derelict who had pulled into one of their priemum parking spaces preventing a real customer from having access to their business. When I went in the man that had been at my window said he would be with me in a minute. Then another man stepped to the counter and asked if he could help. I told him I would like my tires rotated, balanced and couldn't remember what the 3rd common service is called. He just looked at me for an extended time and then offered "alignment?" Which he could have done much sooner. He was just reinforcing the sense I got that neither my business nor I was welcome in their very special shop. He told me I would need an appt for an alignment. I told him I had called to make an appt and was told one was not necessary. In fairness, I asked OB location/thinking the policy would be the same at both. I left, muttering to myself, and headed to the OB location. Apparently the policies changed from one location to another. I called to confirm I could get the 3 items taken care of without an appt, as I had been told yesterday. First, she said yes. Then asked "Alignment, also?" YES! "you'll need an appointment for that. I was perfectly willing to make an appt YESTERDAY! That was why I called. There are always things I can do in Longview and this trip is no different. But I would not have come today if I knew I couldn't get my tire work done. I JUST MADE AN "APPOINTMENT" WITH SUPERIOR TIRE SERVICE. I am from Las Vegas and miss the exceptional service Discount Tires always gave me. I love living here. I am looking for that relationship with a tire company here. Tires are critical. read more

I just left the Longview Wa. store in the Fred Meyers parking lot. I had the worst experience I have ever had at a Les Schwab store. All I wanted was to have a coaster bike tire fixed. The guy told me if I brought the intertube in they probly would fix it but they don't work on bikes. He suggested another store. I looked at the tire and figured I could get the intertube off my self. When I asked to barrow a crescent wrench he said they don't loan tools. I don't know where he thought I was going with it I had the bike in the lobby with me. I said you don't make things easy for people do you I got a NOPE. I thought a nope what the heck happed to Les Schwabs costumer service. In Portland they fell over them selves to help you. I'll tell you I am not so Shure how they will act if I come in to have something done with the tires I bought at a les schwab in Portland. The employees were all very helpful and the mechanic Mike was kind enough to give us a ride to our hotel while we waited for the repairs to complete.
