They make you wait, they do a poor job, and they put parts on and never call for your approval. Excuses fly off the front desk as to why parts and labor is so high. Everyone can look up parts and labor and they charge 3-4 times the normal and use cheap chinese parts to boot. read more

I bought my tires from discount tire in Vancouver. I got a nail in my tire and put a plug in it as a temporary fix. Drove an hour down to there shop to get it fixed. They refused and only gave me the option of replacing the tire. Took the tire to T&T tire in Kelso. They just fixed it with a patch. You can still get customer service at this place. They earned my business. I'm going there for my next set of tires in the spring. read more

Update 2/27/26. Wasn't too long ago I was in the shop for warranty work regarding improperly installed parts (see below). After yet another failed attempt by their staff, the axle seals, yes both! Are currently leaking again. With that, there is puddled up gear oil in my dust covers and oil soaked brake pads/components. T & T is actively running from this problem, Seth is raising his voice and hanging the phone up like a child, refusing to honor their work. They are just trying to skidaddle away like this isn't a big deal. Not honoring warranty work as it's listed in the shop 3 year/ 36k mile warranty, (it's posted everywhere). Is clearly false advertising. Misleading and untrustworthy at best. Consumers beware! Jim, and Seth are unethical and have zero integrity when it's time to address problems. Both became uneasy and acted childish. As below I mention a partial reimbursement for labor (as it was to be untrustworthy). As well as for the absolute inconvenience of being out a vehicle and having to rent one. These folks had my vehicle for six weeks or better. All together, for all repairs. I went today to try and get a full reimbursement on all labor, as several aspects are wrong. As well as still active front end problems from them servicing my suspension. And they even charged me additional parts the last time i was in for warranty work, claiming to fix the problem that wasn't even there initially, only after suspension service. So it's not just an isolated ordeal to the rear end. It's the whole job in question... Seth is horrible to deal with, his demeanor was awful. Not professional at all. He is expecting me to operate my vehicle with faulty brake components. My vehicle is not safe to drive. They expect me to drive on public roads with oil soaked brake pads/rotors. Extreme potential for an accident, as well as fire. Vehicle is most driven on the freeway between kelso and Vancouver. I have enormous disgust for this entire establishment. Especially the leadership. This is unheard of buisness practice, and a Pitiful example of a "reputable" repair shop. (Original review, about two weeks ago.) Simply put. There are better shops in our area. Do yourself and your wallet a favor. Your money will go farther elsewhere. I brought my jeep in for a list of dignosed repairs. Totalling just under 8k, after additional parts. From the first time I dropped my jeep off, we've experienced issue after issue. Extentions of service. They had my vehicle for almost a month at one point. Waiting on parts is what they say. But I'm more inclined to believe it was due to negligence while removing parts. Only saying this because the constant repeating issues of their own workmanship, failing. Questionable workmanship at best. Many times after completion the vehicle had to be brought back because new parts weren't installed correctly and out of manufacturer specifications. Brakes were sticking and burning up. New seals on a rebuilt rear end leaking puddles in my dust cover and onto my driveway. New noises coming from suspension after repairs. Your trust is best placed away from them. After more dissatisfaction than anything else. Literally the worst service I've ever payed for. My family felt ran through. Out thousands for something we can't trust. I went to management and Jim, the owner. While their tech fixed what they did wrong for the umpteenth time. And I asked for partial reimbursement of labor since we've had so many errors, on THEIR part. I plead my case, and got partial labor cost back. After a handshake and apparently high hopes. I went to drive off with what I thought was a properly fixed vehicle. I was wrong, again. But that wasn't new at T&T Tire... It sounds kind of common after reading other reviews. It took them three or four times to find the right axle. After discovering burning brakes, and a bright abs light. I turn around for another lap back. Like it's fun to waste time at a shop, I sat and waited for another sit down with Jim and Seth. I asked for more labor back. Because nobody should have to pay a premium for shotty, untrustworthy work. Which is all I got. CLEARLY! Mind you the vehicle was signed off by multiple people. Just to make sure it was right, and they still got it way wrong. Even with a team effort, it was wrong. So what gives? Incompetence? Negligence? I don't know! Maybe tires is all they need to focus on... I got shot down, Jim got defensive. Seth wasn't happy. The room read that they knew they are in the wrong. But made me out to be asking for too much. We were traveling from out of town towing an RV when our truck tire went flat. They were able to fit us in right before closing and get our tire fixed and back on the road in 30 minutes! There was a nail in the rear tire drivers side. It had a slow leak and everyone I ask said go to T&T tires and Kelso. That is just what I did. They found a small nail, removed it and patched the tire. James came out and said your car is ready. Handed me the keys and that was it. I was highly surprised that I didn't have to pay and very pleased. Most times when a woman walks into any type of motor vehicle place, they are treated poorly and taken advantage of. I did not find any of that at this Location and highly recommend Everybody Go there. I know I'll be going back for my next set of tires real soon. read more

As a previous customer, with another of my vehicles, I brought in a new car I'd purchased to have the tires rotated. since it was a new car I obviously hadn't bought those tires from TnT. They charged me to rotate the tires but said when I came in for a new set they'd cover free rotations on those tires. Not coming back here. This if for those who don't want to read very far. After being told by many people about this location my wife and I decided to give it a try. First after purchasing 2 full sets of tires they misplaced our keys and made us wait for 4 hours to do one car. Next was a three hour wait which resulted in a near accident in the parking lot by the employee driving it just to be told by staff that they are busy and he didn't hit anyone did he. Below is the full story. So we took in both of our cars to purchase new tires. They were able to do one car and then we brought hers back in. At which time she sat for 4 hours waiting to have new tires put on the car. When I arrived she was at her wits end, so I asked about her car. At which time we were then told they couldn't find the keys to her car. After an extensive search they found them in the pocket of one of their employees in the garage. So they tried to accommodate us by rushing the tire change and doing it outside in the rain. The individual who brought the car around rolled down the window and left it done allowing rain to get into the car. That was our first poor experience. Then just last Friday we brought it in to get the tires rotated. At which time we were informed it would only take an hour or so. We came back after almost an hour and half to find it not done. We waited an additional hour in the parking lot waiting to see if it would be taken, yet we watched cars that had come after ours getting taken in. So I went in to ask and was told we were next. After almost another hour and 4 more cars I went in again and this time he sent a young man to get it. After they were done with the tire rotation and the individual was backing out he almost struck another customers vehicle with ours. It placed my wife in an enormous about of stress. She felt an overwhelming need to complain to the staff. At which time, who I am assuming was the garage manager asked if he had hit someone with our car. She explained no, but that wasn't the issue, if the customer didn't move his car he would have. The supervisor just made it seem as though we shouldn't have complained to them because he didn't hit anyone. Then when we complained about the time and watching so many other vehicles go in before us they just explained they are busy and sometimes that happens. When dealing with the almost hit car, it was once again placed on the customer. It seemed as though whatever we said it came back to the customers fault not how things are being handled. I am not sure exactly how the garage runs, but it didn't take more than 10 minutes to rotate our tires. I have to say that from here on out I will look else where to purchase tires and handle any other services. read more

Place is a joke , very unprofessional and lack paying attention to the work they preform. I wouldn't give them one star. After waiting two hours to get my tires rotated (third time since i bought them) i get my car back again with the wheel covers not properly installed right so they are looking all bent outta shape . How do you not notice this if you're letting on wheels for someone especially if it's your job. Makes me wonder if they even torqued the lug nuts to specs. Then it had to go back in and have wheels removed to rotate covers to the proper position and reinstalled. I suggest they put down the meth pipe and pay attention to there work since people trust them to do there job. Place is a joke and very unprofessional. Honestly, I wish I could send every customer that needs tires to this establishment. I was traveling from Washington to Oregon hit a large rock and blew my tire out. Had to stay the night at the motel six and the kind lady said that T&T tire would be open at eight and they would most likely be able to take care of me. I showed up at eight they greeted me at the door and I should've known what I was going to be in for when this tall father figure with a flannel shirt and an old trucker hat, told another customer that their emergency with his emergency, and he was going to take care of them. They were quick to find out that my particular tire was not in stock and they said they need to make a quick phone call and they got my tire by 1030 and I had to do was come back. I showed back up the tire arrived as they predicted, and as I gave them my keys, I told him not to worry about the spare. I'll just take care of it when we're all done seen as I had a large amount of luggage in the back shortly after they returned my keys I paid my bill and went out to my vehicle. Realizing for a second, I forgot my spare, when I went to go move my luggage, I found out that they had removed. All my luggage swept out the back of my vehicle, put the spare and all the tools back in perfect order, and then re-packed my vehicle, the exact same way I had it, and when I say exact same way, I mean luggage pointed, and Bags pointed in the direction that I had them because I'm very meticulous about that. This was just one customer with one tire. They had a lot full of trucks of different sizes to deal with and if they took that much attention and care with my one little tire, I can't imagine what they would do on larger projects. while I was waiting for all this to be done, I travel with my service dog, and one of the ladies came out and brought her fresh water to drink without even asking. I don't know if this is a statement on today's economy or just good people helping other people, but this type of attention to detail and actual care is worth more than any bill I could receive from them. read more

Snake oil salesmen practice at T&T tires, be sure to look at the low rat reviews its common practice at T&T wish I would've checked the low ratings reviews first Before going and getting scammed . lesson learned dont fall for the higher reviews always check the lowest ratings first. T&T fooled me once , but shame on them they won't be fooling me or my friends or relatives anymore. Let everyone know to filter & check the low ratings reviews because those are the real ones , dont fall for the fake good reviews like I did and get scammed out of your money and charged more then the quoted and agreed price after the work is done. read more

I was thrilled that they had a used tire I could use to replace my spare. It took an hour to find and replace the spare - which seemed odd but they were busy. However on checking out I'm told they couldn't put it back under the bed because something broke - no explaination just handed back my credit card and left it at that. Maybe because i was a woman alone. I had someone eles take a look at the spare holder today and now I'm really unhappy. It's an older truck and I clearly told them the tire lowered a few days earlier when using the hand crank. They used an impact driver to lower it and seized up the winch holding the tire in place and sheared the rivets. Broke the whole thing damn thing. I'm going to have to replace the hoist unit to replace what they broke. I might as well have gone to the other guy and bought the brand new tire and maybe they'd have taken better care of my truck. I'd been impressed with my first trip to T&T at the start but ended up out money and time before a big road trip trying to fix this. *** Update 8/11 - The owner called me about my review (I'd posted it on their page and Google too) and we talked about what happened. I'm bumping this from a 1 star to 3. I'm pleased this is going to be a learning opportunity so it hopefully doesn't happen again for someone else. Mistakes are made, I get that. Whether the mistake was they broke or a fluke, Just telling someone "it broke" without any idea why or any recourse - not okay. So getting a call today goes a long way in my book as a standup business wanting to do right both by the customer and because it's simply the right thing to do. If time allows I'll bring my truck back for them to take a look if my mechanic hasn't fixed it already before my trip. read more

Very unhappy with my recent service on my front brakes and rotors. When I left the shop they said I might still experience some shaking, but it would be faulty rear rotors. And when I was still having shaking I called the shop that had replaced the rear rotors summer 2022 and only had 13,000 miles on them. I was asked to bring in my car, and when they ran an inspection on the rear brakes / rotors (which were fine) and the front brakes / rotors just replaced by T and T they found faulty front rotors were installed and a zip tie was used to fasten the brake hose and wheel speed sensor bracket to the strut instead of the bolt that was needed. Needless to say I will not be returning for any other service. read more

My daughter called me Saturday morning and she told them again " Move the front tires to the rear and new tires on front. " When we picked up the car the new tires were on the back ?? Worst experience ever!! Had an appointment for full alignment and it was confirmed by an actual email from a human. Dropped it off and the person was like ok it'll be about an hour. Get back and they never did it. Gave some excuse about how the email was a glitch (it was a person who responded not an auto responder) AND the person that was in the establishment confirmed the appointment on the computer said it'd be an hour and they never touched it. On the way into the building I saw a sign that said to wear a mask, so I did. When I walked in there were at least 10 employees and 8 customers who were in there and none were wearing mask or doing social distancing. I asked why and the answer was, "they can make us put a sign up, but they cant make us wear a mask". I walked out with some one following me to assist with the pricing of tires that I wanted to buy. If you are immune compromised at all please don't go there. It is a breading ground for COVID. So sad that they cant be there for the community. It makes me sad. i would not recommend this business if you're looking to get tires installed, or getting your car aligned i got my car back from them having it and there is numerous scratches on my wheels that weren't there when i dropped it off and a place that looks like they took an abrasive wheel of some sort to try and get the previous adhesive off where the balancing weights were prior, they couldn't even align my car correctly, also the workers in the shop get into your car all dirty and stain the interior i had black stains all over my seat and grime on my steering wheel when i got back in my car the day of picking it up from them. read more

This Auto shop is likely the cheapest in town. That's the extent of praise I could possibly give this location. When I initially took my vehicle in they determined that the radiator was leaking and not holding a seal, contributing to an overheating issue and "likely a check engine light, burnt O2 sensors" according to their techs. After they replaced the radiator, O2 sensors, "fixed" the check engine light(they overode the fuse to prevent the light). They sent me home with a "clean bill of health". A week later driving to Portland my vehicle overheats yet again. My mechanic friend tells me it may be a blown head gasket. My buddy helps me return the car and we ask the mechanic of the possibility of the head gasket and mention the fan wasn't running when the vehicle was over heating. They took it in yet again, they diagnosed that there was an air bubble in the system and massaged the hoses, sent me on my way. Now about 2 weeks later the vehicle starts overheating rampantly. I call them but covid 19 has started and they suggest I drive as little as possible. Fast forward to last month they now diagnose it's a blown head gasket and price it at a cost of $1300 and don't even include the necessary basics like a replacement thermostat, new plugs, wires... Like I said they're likely the cheapest in town but you do get what you pay for!! read more

Words cannot express the gratitude I have for the kindness and generosity that the people at T and T Tire showed my family. My family and I are from California, and we recently traveled through Kelso on the way to Seattle for a family trip. As you can probably imagine the last thing you want to experience on a road trip is car trouble in the rain. The van I drove got a flat and because of its design (Dodge Caravan) the spare is almost impossible to retrieve and install so I called AAA. Even the tow truck driver suggested I should just tow it to a tire shop rather than dealing with the exchange. I had the van towed to T and T Tire, which is about a mile away from the freeway and they were super busy (now I know why)! I stayed outside with the driver while my wife and kids waited in the lobby. I expected to be there a few hours but I guess the people at T and T heard the excitement in my kid's voices about the adventure we were on, and the cruise and family we were expected to join that evening had it not been for the flat! They started work on my van right away and before I knew it they were done with it. My wife walked outside and said the work on the van was complete and I should go settle the bill. I walked in and tried to pay they said it was on them and told me to have a good time on my cruise! I tried to at least buy them coffee and doughnuts and they refused any of my money. I was speechless it is rare that you not only find such great customer service, and generosity but also compassion from a business. I saw a lot of beautiful places while traveling through Oregon, Washington, Canada and Alaska but by far the most memorable was a little tire shop in Kelso Washington!
