I have been in need of new tires, and have an upcoming medical appt out of town, yet couldn't afford top of the line tires with the state of economy etc. So, I called NBend Les Schwab on Saturday and the assistant manager Marcos informed me he could get the tires I could afford in by Monday. I arrived and waited for my tires to be installed. On way home the tire sensor light began flashing then was on steady, yet I was already almost home south of Bandon. I called and the female who answered asked if I'd run over anything, and I simply stated I did not, I'm a careful driver, she recommended i come back in. I was already 40 miles close to home, so I asked to speak with one of the tire guys, and Marcos came back on the phone and said the tire sensor might simply need to be reset, possibly due to the spare tire. I felt reassured. He was very kind, and his explanation made more sense to me. I'll bring it back in this week to check, and reset the tire sensor. All the staff appeared to be kind and professional to customers coming in. I recommend this Les Schwab. read more

Came in to get my tire pressure sensors checked and replaced. After replacing the sensors, the tpms light was still on in a 4runner and they said all I needed to do was drive it. So I did, and it never went off. Went back same day to have them check it / reset again and they couldn't do it. Blamed it on their machine, but asked me to come back the next day. I had a feeling they couldn't get it done but brought it back the next morning anyways. I spent the next hour and a half wasting my time with them struggling to reset my sensors again. After complaining about the time taken, they brought it out again and said this time all I had to was just drive it again, and the lights are still on. What a joke. If you need anything electronic or ecu related things done bring it to a dealer service center instead. read more

Les Schwab use to be where I would send everyone. But anymore there service sucks. They want to Upsale you on everything. I have been doing business with them since 1985 till 2026 but no more. the last time I went there I wanted 2 now tires for the front of my truck because one of my tires had a nail. They wanted over $800.00 dollars I told them I cannot afford that. I asked for a flat repair on one of their tires that wa on my truck. They told me no since the tire was over 5 years old. I told them to close out my account. I would not do business with them anymore. My prior visit to them went in to get a front end alignment they would not do that as well. They said I needed to have all the ball joint's replaced first. They quoted me $1,800.00 dollars and in the middle of of the job said they would have to charge me $800.00 more for for new swing arms. Because they where afraid to press the new ball joints in to the old ones I told them no just put it back together with the new parts. Well guess what it worked no problems. What they don't know is I used to there job in the past I know the difaculty of doing that job. I know what the mark up of that job is but know that good business is being fair. I am almost 59 years old and handicapped now and it is not easy for me to do all my maintenance anymore. And it a town with not a lot of choices it is sad that local businesses won't take care of there town. This is why places like Amazon gets bigger and bigger because I was able to get both tires for less then half the price. and they are 10 ply like the ones on my truck maybe not the same brand but who cares. They did tell me they would put them on for me for about $60.00 a piece. Hell they did not even to offer to put on my brand new spare tire so I did not have to drive on a tire that they would not repair. He'll that is bad bad business practice to send a handicapped person away to go flat and be stuck. Shame on you. read more

The problem with writing reviews elsewhere, you cannot always find them. I had written a GREAT review for this location when they helped us but no clue where I wrote it. I thought it was on their website but cannot bring it up. Meh, moving on.... This is definitely late (August 24, 2021) in writing because of the above reason (I thought I copied and pasted the review on here). For my husband's birthday we were going to ride the dunes and I had paid that morning for a buggy but on the way there the truck started making a clanking sound. My husband did as he always does and said, "It's nothing." Considering we were 4 hours from home and would be pulling a trailer, I said, "We need to get this taken car of NOW!" The universe must have been on our side because we were a block from Les Schwab AND they were able to take car of us. We were in and out in about 3 hours, but at least we were taken care of on that day. Honestly, whatever was wrong with the truck, husband could have fixed it if we were home but we weren't so we paid someone to take care of it. Because this was on August I forgot the names...but at the time, I believe this guy was new or newer and he checked out our car but also asked his supervisor when he had questions. Between the two of them they figured out what was wrong and made sure there was nothing else going on with the car. They checked to see if they could get the parts and they could. Everything went smooth after that. To keep ourselves busy during this time, we went to Walgreens and then to El Coyote (great Mexican restaurant at the corner). Right around closing time we returned and within 1/2 an hour the car was ready for us. I felt that we were in one of those Les Schwab commercials where they said, "Les Schwab saved us!" Okay, the price was right around $350 or so but that's what we get for not taking care of it at home. I was just happy that it was done. read more

Be very careful when having work done at Les Swab. They have a reputation of doing more than authorized and charging you for it without telling you prior to the work weather it needs the work or not, especially if a woman takes the vehicle in for their services. read more

They charged my wife $100 more then the quote on the phone for a set of 4 tires. The next day she was in Grants Pass and loosing pressure in her tires. The PROFESSIONALS in Les Schwab's in Grants Pass had to replace ALL 4 tires, because they were defective! When these non professionals at 3025 Broadway, rotated her wheels, they failed to reset the computer, this is a very basic thing that they should have done. I was going to take my Mustang and truck there for new tires... I certainly will NOT be going there! Obviously management is not paying attention to quality control! read more

Every business should consider the "les schwab" customer service policies and try their best to copy! Seriously... where else can you drive in unannounced and have often more than one anxious serviceman eager and waiting to help with whatever the problem is. I've had to wait on occasion, but even while waiting, the place does everything they can to accommodate customers! Popcorn, coffee, vending machines, magazines, and decent chairs! They'll fix a flat tire and thank YOU for coming by. No charge... just a warm friendly worker that seems thankful to have a good job. Just guessing, but they must treat employees pretty good - since most of them are long-timers. We've used Les Schwab for many, many years, and have never been dissatisfied with their customer service. I think this business is a model for all others when it comes to customer care. To the manager of North Bend store, Kevin, I am writing this to inform you of an employee named Dan who went above and beyond for me. I didn't meet him personally as my SO brought my car to your store as somewhere a long the line I picked up a screw in my tire. Rick told me that Dan had the tire taken off, but found that the metal belt had torn the tire and was now unfixable. Rick has been a mechanic all his life so understands all these things I don't. Anyways, Rick knew the tire was very new (had 3 months of light wear) n so did Dan. Dan had the tire taken off, then found a good used one and replaced the old one so we could get it in safely where the tire had been purchased n under warranty still. To my shock, this was all done free of charge. Thank you Dan, for doing this and helping me figure out what was my best options with Rick. This is good old fashioned business practice. This is the most dangerous store around. Purchased 2 brand new tires for our truck and these clowns inflated them to 80 psi. The tire is rated for 65 psi. Our truck was so dangerous to drive, we had to go to another Les Schwab to have air fixed. We told the salesperson that we would be towing a fifth wheel and they still over inflated the tires. We will NEVER go back to this location because we feel they intentionally tried to kill us. read more

I went go pick up my truck but I called first. Turns out my truck was not drivable due to other needed repairs although all I needed was a brakeline. I heard the man say u bolts and joints with the blocks in wedges which made it unsafe to drive according to the repair person. After each part I said ok which he did not like and requested I remain silent until he was done. I did not feel I could ask for clarification so I agreed because I needed my vehicle and did not have further time to shop around. My leaf springs and u bolts not joints as I thought he said were returned to me. The leaf springs are not likely to make the vehicle unsafe to drive. I spoke 3 other mechanics in Oregon, 2 in Phoenix and 1 in San Diego. Not 1 agreed my vehicle was unsafe to drive and that the bent leaf springs caused the issue with the brake line. I told the repair man I felt he was being dishonest, yet he still claimed the repair MUST be done foe safety sake. Absolutely not true. This shop runs on fear in order to make additional profit. Even online it doesnt state this repair is an emergency to be done. I dont haul items and thry knew that. They got an additional repair out of me for over $200 and I got go pay for 3 cab rides but I will give them a report to the better business bureau and the Attorney General. Enjoy the cash you scammed me out of. AVOID this business for repairs. read more

Yesterday I went to North Bend Les Schwab to have my censors in my wheels fixed. They were pretty busy so I asked how long it would be before they got to my truck. It was at least 1 hour. So I explained that I was a caregiver for a cancer patient and asked if I could make an appointment. That way I would be home faster. A young man named Tyler Pulse (an employee) heard my dilemma and asked me to pull my truck up to just find out what was wrong. Once he did that he got the paperwork done and asked me to be there this first thing this morning where he not only fixed my sensors he found a screw in one of my tires that he fixed also. THEN... that young man came out, handed me my keys and with a smile said "you are all set, have a nice day and go home and take care of your family". What a great human being Tyler Pulse is.
