Brought my car in and waited about 2 minutes to get it in. They did what I needed and didn't mess around. As I sit a actually get to watch them work on my car, I can see all the employees working and moving in a professional manner. I was a ASE certified mechanic four about 10 years. I can appreciate these folks better than most. The only down side I noticed is back in the day they used to vacuum your car and wash it your windows. STAY FAR AWAY! Took in a car with 87k miles with no engine problems and after they worked on it,…read moreit needs a new engine!! We had been customers here for decades for tires. In May we took a car in for tires and had an oil change done. They had to order the air filter so sent our son home to come back later for it. As soon as he left the shop the check engine light came on. Called them and went back. Tech said they forgot to put the old air filter in so he should be fine now. We have had problems since and ultimately it was determined that we need a new engine. Manley is stating that there is NO way they did not put the filter in; they don't make mistakes like that and they have no idea why their employee would have said that but talked to him. The camera footage was already destroyed so they can't show us it was put in either. Had an employee say they were busy and that's when mistakes get made but the owner assures us it didn't happen and as long as that's what he says then it's our problem. Interesting when you read all the errors they make and how they have never filed with the BBB. The owner told us incorrect information regarding his insurance company and then dropped communication. He did file a claim with his insurance, but as long as he stands by it not being their fault then insurance is useless. Had car towed to another shop and video footage shows gouging in the cylinder. I'm not a mechanic but what I have learned is that debris can cause gouging and debris can get in an engine from an air filter being left out so if a car goes in with no issues as confirmed by their diagnostics but leaves with engine problems it seems VERY likely something happened during that service appointment. It seems much less likely that an engine that was fine, had 87k miles just broke down within a couple of miles of leaving their shop coincidentally like the owner is telling us. Absolutely horrible to work with!!

They were so kind, fit me right in and even gave me a loaner. I was on the road only a couple hours behind schedule. My only reason for 4 starts is they didn't have the right equipment to fix the alignment on my car (a Volvo) but I get not all shops will have those systems. I was able to safely get back to Omaha then take my car to a shop here to have everything taken care of. They were really helpful and I would recommend!

Many years have gone by & nothing has changed about the unprofessionalism I found again at Heartland Tire. From the lack of enthusiasm & bad customer service that came from the two guys at the front counter, to the lack of knowledge & lack of thoroughness to do the repair successfully from the mechanics out in the shop. Two of the employees even tried blaming their mistakes on me. So again, my visit at Heartland Tire was very disappointing for many different reasons & I think this is why the new Les Schwab Tire Center is opening up here in New Ulm Minnesota because people are fed up with Heartland Tire's unprofessional service. Last but not least there wasn't even coffee in the waiting area for customers to enjoy if they wanted to & there weren't even water cups in the water machines cup dispenser for customers to drink water while they waited.
