Wow, Lesley's Upholstery really excelled on my last project.( I have used them several times before) I have two vintage leather chairs, that I was very precious about, and it was a very complicated job , with many panels of fabric . Lesley suggested adding a very thin layer of foam over the original shape to add some more padding, which worked out brilliantly , they are more comfortable than ever, and they firmly stay in place as recliners, unlike before. My 8 vintage mid-century dining room chairs were due for a change and I wanted to be ever so careful with my vendor selection. I sent several photos of my chairs (front, back and underneath) to confirm they would be comfortable with my project, stopped by to pick my fabric from the huge selection (probably 20 different books of velvet), and one week later, after the fabric arrived, Lesley sent a truck to pick up my chairs and returned them completed 13 days later. I had two chairs that I got from my parents that badly needed to be reupholstered and one repaired. The fabric had faded to a muddy olive color and had stains on it. They said it would take about 3 weeks to get the fabric and do the repair and reupholstering. As you can see from the photo, it is a complicated job. There is also upholstery on the back and side, with double cording. They had it done in two weeks and delivered. The chairs have been restored to their original color and the work is excellent. Price was reasonable for the amount of work and the fabric (velveteen and expensive but what was originally on the chairs). Highly recommend. read more

Not that they need any more 5 star reviews, but Lesley's real earns them. We just had our family room furniture recushioned (is that a word)?) by Lesley's. They replaced the foam in the cushions of a leather sofa, love sear and oversized chair. The leather was in great shape, but the foam broke down from use, and started to have impact on my back. After the Lesley's treatment, they are actually better than new. The cost for the work was not insignificant, but far less than replacing the furniture with comparable quality. Lesley's is incredibly responsive when I asked for an estimate. The work was scheduled at my convenience, and completed when promised. The guys who did the pickup and return were incredibly friendly and efficient-even having to deal with lifting heavy furniture around and over obstacles. We are new to the Cathedral City. We recently had a very expensive bbq island built. Looked and looked for some kind of cover to protect from the elements to no avail. I had passed Lesley's Upholstery several times. Sent my hubby in to see if they could custom build an L-shaped cover. Indeed they could. It is amazing. Precise on measurements, came out twice to re-measure. Made some trick little extras on the covers, so we can enjoy mood lighting that emits from bbq and side burner. Made a zippered access to our mini fridge. Even fastens to the bbq with snaps, to ensure it doesn't blow off by the high winds. It is absolutely AMAZING! Above and beyond our expectations. Excellent service and unbeatable prices! Lesley's reupholstered a vintage mid century for us and it turned out better than expected. Lots of fabric selections and the turnaround was unbelievably fast. Initially we were given an estimated two weeks to complete the job and it was done within a week!
