DO NOT USE THIS OFFICE!!!! The Groupon for laser hair removal is a bait-and-switch scam! Dr Ramsamny does not do the procedure, it's some guy named Paul. I bought the groupon for my daughter and waited nearly a month to get our first appt. when I arrived I filled out paperwork and was called back to have a consult with Paul. He is pretentious and spent a good portion of the time telling us how great he was at his job, and how the $250,000 laser that Dr Ramsammy helped him procure blows the measly $10,000 lasers that the 'spas' use out of the water. He said that if I go with the Groupon deal, I'd be getting an appt every 6-8 weeks....and since he said that is approximately 6 appts, rather than doing that, we could just schedule 6 appts every 4 weeks and get the process done much quicker than a year. So I explained that I'd really prefer to do the unlimited treatment for a year because (perhaps Paul didn't think I could perform a simple mathematical calculation in my head), but there are 52 weeks in a year, and if we scheduled appts every 6 weeks, that was almost 9 visits. I wanted to get the 'unlimited' treatments that I paid for.... Well.....Paul starts saying I should maybe 'shop around' (huh?) THEN he says, "oh, well your daughter is probably in school right? If we do this through Groupon, I would only schedule you M-Th 11-5.....but if we just scheduled 6 treatments outside of Groupon, I'd make sure to get you in on Saturdays." I told him it sounded like he was deliberately dissuading me from using his office....to which he replied, "Actually, I don't believe you're a good candidate anymore. Please seek a refund from Groupon." And just like that, he ushered my daughter and I out of their office! My daughter and I both were so stunned and I left their office without retrieving the paperwork I'd filled out. (I didn't want them to have my info on file), but when I called them asking if they could please rip up everything id filled out, Samantha the receptionist kept saying that the Dr was separate from the laser hair removal so she couldn't pass along the message. I was in their office 3 minutes earlier and they shared the same office and the same reception desk AND 'Paul' was only 3 feet away!!! She was cordial, but insisted that I'd have to leave a message!!! I just wanted them to tear up the paperwork!!!! This office is a front!! Started going to this office in the Spring of 2019. Went for the first couple of visits. Paul talked me into getting another treatment besides the laser hair removal. I moved out of state that fall, so I was no longer receiving treatments of any kind. But I received a bill from my insurance for multiple visits in July and August. Well, July I was in Israel. Called the insurance company to inform them of this situation.. In the meantime during the investigation, I also received bills for October, November and January of 2020. Now, I'd already moved to another state in September. The letter I had received from my insurance company showed they had been erroneously billed for almost $100K and paid for almost $50K. I had to write a letter stating I no longer lived in NY, was out of the country for some of the dated and had moved for the dates that I supposedly visited the office. One year of unlimited laser treatments for all areas, not true, but this you find at the first appointment. With the money invested and my husband in much need of hair removal, we put our faith in Paul who stated, "he will be hairless and probably not even need a year's worth of treatment." Well my husband finished his last treatment in November 2018 (not even 12 treatments for a one year deal, and he still has a ridiculous amount of hair on this back, chest . . . Rip off :( read more

DO NOT GO! It's a waste of time and money and it's caused me so much aggravation. If I could give 0 stars I would! I bought a Groupon for laser hair removal treatment with Paul (in the office of Dr. Ramsammy). The Groupon was for laser hair removal for 1 year. When I went in he talked me into spending a little more than Groupon price to add 2 more areas that I wanted done. I went to a few appointments and didn't see much change as far as permanent hair removal. Also he makes you wait in the waiting room for over 15 minutes each time; and I usually went around 11am/12pm when the office isn't busy and no one came out ahead of me. You have to call multiple times to get a hold of him if you have to change your appointment. I had called him to reschedule my 6th appointment and he tells me that this one seems to be the last one. I told him it wasn't; that the Groupon was for a year and he tells me that 'we agreed on 6 sessions'. I told him 'why would I agree on 6 sessions when I bought a year?!' He then proceeds to put me on hold for a few minutes and comes back to tell me that it's fine. I went for my 6th appointment and the number on the machine was lower than the previous times! Aka, not as powerful. I made an appointment for what would be my last one for the year and ended up having to change it. I called twice and he never called me back!!! So he ultimately got what he want because I only had 6 sessions. I am furious and all I can do is warn other people to stay away. This man is a scam artist. The worst part is that I recommended him to 2 friends (after my first session) who ended up buying the Groupon as well and they had the same bull fed to them and worse. And they laser treatments didn't work either! And we all are the perfect candidates for laser (dark hair and light skin). read more

Currently sitting in an entirely empty office for a 1 pm appointment. No one is here. Paul creeped out initially who I am here to see for my laser hair removal appointment. Not sure why I am not being attended to! But this is not good business where you leave high paying clients just to wait cluelessly. Time is money people. read more

Do not recommend! Total rip off! Was supposed to get unlimited laser hair removal - only got about 4 treatments. Tried to reschedule or make a new appt. and the office didn't know how to contact Paul (or when promised to leave him a message - he never did), and even when contacting Paul he never answered the phone or got back to me. Basically, never reached out to see what was happening or why I never returned when I wasn't even half way through my treatments. Really sickening to know there are people out there who have businesses to HELP people feel good about themselves only to rip them off. Way to lose costumers, I would've recommended to a lot of people who were asking, but definitely not after this experience. I'm glad to go somewhere else, where there are legitimate ways to getting in touch, and not sketchy ways of paying. They will for sure be getting a lot of business this new place I go to.
