Now to the nurses on the 2nd floor G Wing I believe I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. Sorry if I kept you busy changing 50 bags of fluid that kept my catheter flowing. UTI (although I never had any symptoms of a UTI) and 3 days later I went to Winthrop Mineola and they found that I had an ongoing perforation in my colon and the follow day my body started going into shock. They almost killed me. In 2022 I went here to give birth to my daughter (only because my doctor was affiliated here) and they left me out in the hallway for 3 hours SCREAMING at the top of my lungs in labor. It wasn't until they finally gave me a room and checked that I had gone from 3cm-7cm in 1 hour. I started throwing up all over the floor and hall way and they never even offered my a wheelchair until the very end. My experience here was absolutely terrible. When my daughter was born they didn't even bring her to me for over 10 mins for our first touch. I hate this place and I'll never ever step foot here or recommend anyone to go here. They even misspelled my daughter's first name and I've had years of headaches trying to change it on all her records. Save yourself and do go here or have your baby here.

So urgently did what I had to do...Northwest Health-GoHealth right down road was the answer. When you walk in you sign in on an electronic tablet, which I suppose very convenient for you and them. Was greeted immediately with a smile and additional clipboard of needed detail on why your there. Literally within 5-10 minutes all was completed, co-payment and all. Shortly after that was directed to a large, spacious, clean, sterile room to wait for doctor. Initially medical tech takes you vitals and asks a bunch of generally questions. Figure another 5-10 minutes with that, then the pass off to the doctor. A quick efficient review of situation with doctor. All is confirmed and you are on your way with report page in hand and out of there in 40 minutes. Absolutely amazing!! I could wait 30 minutes or more in the regular doctors waiting room. Can clearly see why these type of locations have popped up just about everywhere. Experience was good and would recommend this location to others. In addition to going back again if need be.

So I'm sitting there, waiting to be seen for the same problem I had on Sunday- laryngitis- when they send someone out to tell me that they don't give medication refills. So I mouth," why am I waiting to be seen then?" She keeps repeating the same line. I mouth, "well then don't refill it, write a new script." Same response. I mouth, "If I walked in today, with this same problem, that I obviously have, what would you prescribe to help me get my voice back?" Press repeat. I mouthed, "thank you, but this is a waste of my time. I'll just write a review". And.... Here we are. I'm making chicken soup.... hoping for a miracle. Too bad Dr Roshee wasn't there. She always knows what to do for someone who needs help.
