Excellent service from Mariah B today at Leslie's. She made sure I received all my discounts. Took off 1 star because of price.

We have plenty of cleaners, we needed this pool store! I was immediately greeted by the husband and wife franchise owners. I spoke for a moment with the wife about my needs and soon learned they have referrals for plaster work, pool maintenance/service workers and expert knowledge about pools in general. I was given a container to bring a sample in of my pool water to have it checked at no cost. I was delighted to have such a warm introduction to the store. Aside from the maintenance and chemical items, they also have fun floats, thermometers, outdoor clocks, towel holders and much much more. The store was exceptionally clean. I have always liked pool stores since was a kid. The smell brings back so many memories. Seems I was always in a pool store with my dad or my grandmother. We would go in for chemicals to treat our pools. Back in the mid 70's and early 80's, you did it yourself since having a "pool guy" was not as common as it is today. I'm very excited about how well the store is stocked. They pack a lot in this small space and I will be back to get some new floats soon. They carry my favorite brand of floats, SwimWays. Great customer service, pristine store, good prices and big selection. What more can you ask for in a pool supply place?

He took his time walking us through the process (first time pool owners), never tried to upsell with high pressure tactics, and was objective in describing pros/cons of various options. Once the permit was approved, Ben's teams worked quickly and without any issue (or major unforeseen expenses). I really valued having Ben as a point of contact for any questions that we had, and even after the project closed, he was quick to follow up and support any outstanding topics that I brought his way. Claudia and Ben are an absolute pleasure to work with, and I would highly recommend Peak Pools and Spas to anyone looking to get started.

We selected Peak Pools because of their timeliness of response, thoroughness in estimate and honest approach of utilizing what we wanted in a pool, rather than inflating price with extra features. A pool building experience is very taxing and a long process over several months, but Ben Peak coordinates the contractors and holds each team accountable and to a timeframe. This is truly a family business and it shows in the quality of their project, past referral responses & their willingness to make their customer satisfied. We highly recommend Peak Pools - their finished product has made our backyard experience a joy

Their quick resolution and immediate response to my concerns meant more to me than words can say. For the first time in a long time, they made me feel like a big company truly cares about the little people, and that kind of customer care is rare today. A very special thank you to Owen for the endless conversations, calls, and discussions to make sure every concern was addressed and, most importantly, to ensure I felt the way a customer *should* feel -- heard, valued, and respected. That level of dedication, patience, and follow-through deserves recognition, and I sincerely appreciate the effort made to turn my experience around.

At 5.5 months they are suppose to make the process simple and easy . This company is the exact opposite. My PM threaten financial responsibility to bully there clients, for something that is complete there fault. My pool was suppose to be dig to gunite in 10days instead it was closer to 30 days bc they didn't realize they had city approval on 5th day. So they waited close 2.5 wks go by before it is scheduled. Even though every few days after rebarb was installed I contacted them and was told to wait because no city approval. So by the time contractor came out my pool had caved in: Then they agreed to start the process over again but couldn't schedule it within a week, so it caved another 3 times due to rain. I told the PM that they had to do the start the process again include the city inspection. He ask to speak to my dad and my dad told him multiple time no if you lay rebarb then the inspection needs to be redone. The PM then tried to back track and said to us if the pool caved again it would be our responsibility to pay even though the contract said otherwise. Which is when I told him off and he should read the contract. Next major issue during the build they cut my well line, no one showed up for over a week. I had to call someone to set up a temporary line so I could have water in my house. My PM didn't care so I called his manager after a wk and someone came out the next day. After filling the pool with water I believing there was a light at the end of tunnel that this project was almost over but it wasn't. Typical Houston weather we had a freak storm that brought large amounts of water, we noticed the water was nearly to the top of decking. So I asked how come the pool doesn't drain itself. I was told it a manual process where the owner has to go out and open a valve. My neighbor has a 20 yr old pool that has an automatic release once it get to a certain level. We live in Houston area it rains like crazy in this town, you would think it would be install automatically. When I ask why it isn't automatic they said it's up to the designer. Which they don't ask or tell you doing the design process. Nor can it be retro actively installed. The icing on the cake my current issue. We schedule the pool motor to be started the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. I took a day off. The gentleman comes out to my house and with in 10 min he knew the electrical had issue and there was cement in my skimmers. I have a PM that suppose to come and check the subs works. He never comes out he obviously didn't check there work and he does not know how to return phone calls. Apparently his job is drive around and put WO into the system. I have had water in my pool for 3 wks with out proper chemicals or working motor, so I know have a green swamp. So my advise is do not choose this company they don't fix thing in a timely manner, the PM is no added value you could have a scheduler or GC do his job. Not worth the headache or heartache bc at the end of the day it your property that's ruined and they have your money!

The beginning of the end for their reputation as they tend to cut corners and doing the right thing! Had Watts for the first pool. Randy was great to work and everything was professional, done right the first time or corrected immediately. Requested Watts to come out to put in a new pool at the new home. Their sales guy lives in the neighborhood. No show first meeting. Late for second meeting. And, subsequently the salesman was several days late providing the estimate which was BY FAR the MOST EXPENSIVE. Over the next few months I asked neighbors, club members and friends if they had experience with Watts and, if so, to share. Appears their experiences are quite similar. Even a childhood friend of Randy's and one of his friends validated similar experience and their sadness over the decline. More than one mentioned writing Randy and not hearing back. When notified about the repeated issues and requesting a different sales agent, Ms. Watts responded indignantly,"youhave to deal with the sales guy as it is his territory...for 20 years...? Really? Mentioned the cost issue...."That is the price!". Ironically, they said it would have to be hand dug because a loader would not get between the homes. Really. The competition had no issue getting a loader into the yard nor building for 30% less. Watts Pool, a company built by a grandfather, a son continuing to improve and grow its first rate legacy lower its quality and customer service. In the neighborhood where Watts built its reputation it is sad, yet no wonder, the Watts sign is rarely seen around the neighborhood.
