Good day, I wanted to let everyone know, to stay away from Nabors Pool Services. They are the epidemy of a bait and switch company. They come out and promise everything and start out good, but they just can't maintain it past a couple months. Their whole process is based around getting as much money from you as possible while providing the least amount of service and cannot seem to effectively communicate with their customers under any circumstances. To be fair, I will have to say, when I requested my pool heater to be replaced, they did a great Job, and how I was able to give them a 5-star rating initially. But soon after, their weekly services became very poor and the tech who came out continually would remove equipment from my pool and not tell me anything, not even in the weekly report submitted after the service. Some examples are below: * It was up to me to ask why the circulation in my pool was getting very poor. I noticed the Pressure in my Filter housing was very high, and I asked them to check. It turns out the Filter was almost completely clogged, and this never grabbed the attention of the tech cleaning my pool to advise of a cleaning was necessary. * During a couple weeks when my full time Tech was out, the replacement tech sent to cover my pool service, did very poor works and did not clean anything. * The Tech. took my pool cleaner with no notice to myself or adding into a service report. I had to call looking for it, and only after 4 days do I get a response for costs and repairs needed, then another 3 days to have completed and returned. * Less than a month later, the same cleaner was again missing with no notice or mention in a report. I had to call again and was told the cleaner they just repaired is again broken. I ask for it returned in good working condition and advise my intent to terminate service. And what was returned was a completely broken cleaner with wheels off and it was just dumped in my pool in pieces. When I call and try to talk to the management, the same response is used, this is not our policy and normal way of working, we will correct, and you shouldn't have this issue again. But the very next month is a similar experience and another call initiated by me and told the same song and dance. I was contacted once by a customer service rep. promising to help fix all. But the very next month same issues again. This to me was simply a ploy to keep me hanging on to get more money before complete frustration sets in and you are forced to cancel service. HORRIBLE COMPANY!!! I have had issues with them ever since they bought Blu-Tex Pools. They have massive turnover. I've been through more than six technicians in less than a year and they are short-staffed right now, according to their office manager, Kaytee. A technician broke my Polaris in June 2022, I didn't get it back until November after hearing a gambit of issues, waiting on parts to come in, shortage of parts due to Covid, and lack of technicians to work/repair it. I finally get it back and it breaks again two months later. January through March, almost April and it's still broken. Even though it's under warranty, I have to pay for them to ship it out to Leslie's Pools to see what is wrong and how to get it fixed. It languishes in my pool as we speak. I have asked to speak to the owner, Benjamin "Ben" Nabors more times than I can count but Kaytee gatekeeps like no other. He refuses to call me back. Kaytee is full of excuses and now no one is responding to my calls or emails. That's after they charge over $220 a month for services and have made NO PRICE CONCESSIONS for the last almost ten months for terrible service and having broken my equipment that they now refuse to repair. It's far too competitive in Houston for service and charges like this. read more

Nice guy with poor customer service. He had an appointment to clean our filter - didn't show, sent a text message about rescheduling - which we replied to - we still have not heard from him yet. Customer service is what sets a company like this apart from their competition - he should return his phone calls and honor his appointment commitments. read more

Made an appointment and no one showed up. Called and left messages and sent text with no response. If he does not want to do a job he shouldn't make an appointment and not show. Common curtesy would be to call the customer and give a reason for not following through on the commitment made. read more

As a first time pool owner, I am so thankful that Ben was able to not only provide a very detailed inspection report so I know exactly what kind of condition my new (yet used) pool is in but he was also able to give me a 'pool school' so I don't go into this completely blind. Ben was extremely helpful and did a fantastic job fixing up our pool/hot tub. He had an up-beat and positive attitude the whole time which made the experience pleasant and provided much needed TLC to our equipment.
