Wow!! What an amazing and absolutely memorable experience with Leslie's that will last a lifetime. Let me start by setting the back story that my pool man advised that I was in need of a new pool pump. For those of you that have had to purchase one of these, you know they can be costly to purchase and have installed. I was so fortunate when I went to Leslie's for assistance and happy the utmost pleasure of meeting store manager, Jennifer. She walked me thru everything, selected the most cost effective machine that was compatible with my current pump, and most importantly treated and with the kindness that you would receive from a family member! Jennifer is a wealth of knowledge outside of having a heart of gold! Now this is where I had the best experience and this will surely stay in my heart and head always. Damien, the service tech that came out to my home to check my system to ensure that the right pump was ordered proved to set the record that there are very honest, overwhelmingly kind, knowledgable technicians that are focused providing a positive experience! What ever you do don't go this store. The so-called store manager Jennifer Walton. Comes off super nice when you were in the store and she's trying to sell you more product. I spent $1000 and come to find out that the item was on sale two weeks later. Went back to the store after talking to her on the phone and her telling me that at first she could not do the adjustment. I get there ad by email every week. After getting the adjustment. I Purchase a product that was on sale. After getting home I looking at my receipt, and saw she didn't give me the sale price, back to the store I go, she start arguing With me that I have to tell her that the item was on sale, which I find a little odd. She even got another customer involved with the discussion which really upset me. I am formed her that I was going to call the corporate office she said to me and I quote" Who do you think he's going to believe" Needless to say, I will never shop there again and I will be calling the corporate office tomorrow. read more

I just finished talking with Dior and Jennifer about my new Jacuzzi and what I needed to do to keep it sanitized and the water safe. I was really clueless about it and overwhelmed. Within minutes of Dior tested my water sample and going through the steps of what I was required to do to have clean safe water, I felt relieved. Dior's simple explanations gave me the ability to purchase the needed chemicals and understand all that I need to do. I got the starter pack and what a great help when you are just starting. While we were talking, they both remembered my name and asked me all the right questions. I received a printout of my chemical analysis which listed Ideal range and next column with my range. I purchased a pool heater from Leslie Pool Supply. It was to be installed on Wednesday, June 24, 2020, between 8:00 am and 12:00 pm. At approximately 11:50 am, the installer said he was running late, but would be here by 1:00 pm. At 1:30 I called him back and he indicated he would be here in 40 minutes, or about 2:00 pm. He arrived almost 2 hours later. The next morning I awoke to to a very loud noise coming from the pool area. I called Alex the Leslie Pool installer, and he indicated he could not return until Monday, June 29. Since I had several pool parties scheduled, I called the main dispatch, and they indicated the same. After complaining about how inconvenient this was, they sent a technician from the Valley. He said the gas meter wasn't large enough to heat the pool and the water in the house, at the same time. This problem should have been identified during the site evaluation. He also indicated that the installer had failed to install a shut-off valve to prevent salt/chlorinated water from flowing back into the heater. I have spent countless hours, yes hours, trying to get this issue resolved. On Saturday when I realized the heater wouldn't turn on, I called the store where I purchased the heater and they said they would have "Ronald" call me back. He never has. I am frustrated and disappointed at the total lack of customer service I have received. This is no way to run a business. If Leslie Pool supply resolves my issue, I promise to never utilize their services, or lack there of, and I will never recommend them to anyone. read more

Jennifer is the best! She has helped me tremendously understand the ins and outs of treating the water in my above ground pool ... using enzymes to help, rather than just chlorine. In the beginning I called her daily for help and she remained patient and very helpful! Now, I am down to visiting her store once every two weeks for water testing and she is the best. Two employees in the store. Spoke to me after I looked around. The cashier never looked up. Was on his phone the entire time. I found what I needed and asked if hoses were a standard size. He said what I had would fit the two sizes printed on the package. I asked if there were several sizes of hoses, should I call home to measure it- new pool owner here. He said yes. Ok so I should measure it. That will fit it has an adapter(2sizes) I asked if there were more than two sizes of hoses. He said yes. Worst advice ever!! Told me I needed to buy $325 worth of pool chemicals to treat the water I brought them to test. Sold me 2 bottles of Phosfree to use both bottle over a 6 hour period. So I did what they told me to do and turned my pool into milky looking. The said don't worry you can still swim in it its just very cloudy. I want to see their kids swim in this water! I cleaned my pool filter 3 times after running my pump and vacuum 72 hours straight, it still milky. Now I have to pay Redondo Pool Supplies $100 to come clean my pool and filter. Thanks Leslie!!!!! Never ever will I shop here again. by the way the manger who sold it to me is Jessica. I think Leslie's owes me $100 for the chemicals and another $100 I have to pay to have my pool cleaned, will see if they contact me to reimburse my money. If they do I will update my review. So an update, i called the corporate office and they agreed to refund my money for the chemicals used as well as have a service person clean my pool. read more

I was in need of a stronger filter pump for our above ground swimming pool. It's really hard getting one as prices have skyrocketed in all filter pumps. Jessica is absolutely fantastic! She went above and beyond great customer service. She checked out my pool sweep unit and found the problem and told me the part was $71 and then showed me a kit from the manufacturer which replaced nearly every part except the body of the unit which was $129! She diagnosed, advised, and installed the kit at no cost! The unit now works like it was new! Crystal is the other awesome person working in the store. She helped me find the items I needed and assisted Jessica with contacting Customer Service to get my rewards re-instated allowing me to save $110 from my purchases. We had an appointment set Monday for a filter cleaning. I took the day off as they were scheduled to be here between 12:00-5:00. I never received a call or voicemail that they would be later. At 6:45pm a man RUNS and throws a note on my porch. "Sorry we missed you" and the arrival time was 6:15. No knock, anything. Not to mention, he lied about the arrival time. What a waste of time. Plus, when I followed up with the company the man who dropped the note off reported to the company that the service was completed. So I was set to be charged.
