Let There Be Rock School - El Paso is a combination music lesson facility and after school rock and roll community center. Students learn to play guitar, bass, drums, keys, and vocals while interacting with their peers. Students have the opportunity to join a band learning classic, current and writing original songs to perform at a real rock and roll venue.

History

Established in 2016.

Let There Be Rock schools began in Frederick, MD and now has 6 locations nationwide! These schools have seen great success in developing bands with kids of all ages, and even helping their alumni take their talents to the next level by helping them sign record deals and tour around the country. Let There Be Rock - El Paso is the first Texas location and we are proud to be from the great city of EL PASO!

Meet the Business Owner: Pepe C.

Pepe Clarke Magaña is a musician and teacher from Juarez, Mexico. He is the drummer for the heavy rock band KYNG. In 1998, Pepe moved to Los Angeles, CA to pursue a musical education at Musicians Institute, and later to Boston, MA to attend Berklee College Of Music. In 2002, he moved back to LA to begin his career in music. As a gigging drummer he played with various artists ranging from gospel and pop, to hardcore and heavy metal. In 2004, he joined the latin metal band Ankla, which would be the beginning of his touring career. From 2010 to 2011, Clarke joined the hardcore band Strife and toured with them throughout Europe, South America, and Japan. He currently tours and records with his band KYNG. Pepe's roots brought him back to the borderland with the hopes of starting a music program that would help aspiring musicians reach their goals as artists on any level.
