I decided to hire her for dinner services since she was the only chef in the area to respond to my request. The food was less than mediocre/salty, and her prices were well above the average chefs. I did not complain, and I gave her a 20% tip. I decided to give her another try, so I requested a breakfast quote, but she tried to charge an outlandish fee of $700 for two people. I questioned the charges, and she decided to drop the price to $500. I texted her multiple times before the scheduled date, but she never responded. A week before services, I reached out to her, and she finally responded five days before the scheduled appointment. She told me she had a cold, so she could not respond, and she would be unable to provide services for the planned date. I have never known anyone suffering from a cold who could not contact the client well in advance and inform them they could not make the scheduled appointment. I would be leery of hiring her and ensuring she provides an itemized list of all your requests. Experience is a good teacher.

My daughter loved the whole idea of it - and chose the Luna. My husband got the S'mores and I the pink strawberry one. Such cute little ice cream scoops with all the toppings, nestled in a bubble waffle cone, Was definitely large enough for two people and was ten dollars. The food truck is so cute! Bright purple, difficult to miss amongst the other food trucks. There are picnic tables to sit at, if the weather was nicer. Service was great. We will return when warmer!

At first, I wasn't sure if I was going to even enjoy all the toppings and bubble waffle cone because of how much of a sugar load it was. But I think it helped to share it with friends so I didn't have to feel the high lol. We got the Chibiusa cone which had delicious marshmallow and strawberry to match the pink, fluffy hair of Chibiusa! It was perfection. It also comes with a wafer chocolate roll and we chose chocolate ice cream for it. You can choose between chocolate or vanilla. For a reasonable price of $10, you get a generous scoop of ice cream and all the trimmings PLUS a freshly made waffle bubble. You can't beat it! Im coming back for you Usagi! And your little cat too! (Luna themed ice cream lol)

Sandwich bread is baked in-house along with all of the incredibly fresh pastries we also enjoyed. The cinnamon role had a gorgeous crust that hid a moist inside. Cream cheese frosting was perfection. Chiapas Nutella (neglected to snap a picture) was chocolatey, buttery, and topped with fresh pecans. The cream cake was a strawberry crepe masterpiece...layer upon layer of diced strawberries and an almost-savory cream cheese filling. We were warmly greeted and immediately seduced by the lovely scent of fresh baked pastries. While indoor space is limited with only three tables, covered seating out front provided a nice space. Friendly staff brought our drinks and food out to us. We will return to this lovely place.

Me and my son wanted to give a couple of his teachers a treat for National Teachers Week. I saw an ad on Facebook for Mexa and decided to try them. I read a lot of good things about them on Facebook. Priscilla got to me quickly. We decided on churro bites, a small fruit cup and a little chalkboard. The churros also came with a couple of dipping sauces. Priscilla didn't charge me for delivering to my son's school. She charges for delivery to other parts of town. My son's teacher loved the treat and gesture. We also sent one to another teacher of his. Mexa also sells a half dozen churros with 2 dipping sauces for $7. They also have larger packages. I'm thinking of ordering some for Mother's Day. I haven't tried the churros yet. Based on what I've read and what my son's teacher told me, I'm sure they taste good. Consider ordering from them for a get together and/or a small token of your appreciation for someone. This week is National Teachers and Nurses Week! Thank a nurse and/or teacher. There was a severe thunderstorm the day of pick up and to be safe, she suggested if I didn't feel comfortable driving, that pickup could be moved with no rescheduling or cancellation fee. As for the churros they were truly authentic. I ordered 2 dozen and everyone in my family devoured them within 10 minutes when I took them to a party. They were crispy on the outside and warm and soft on the inside, super tasty! They were exactly like the churros my family had growing up in Mexico. They were a hit! One recommendation I have is that I bought too many dipping sauces. The churros are delicious on their own and had many left over sauces. But If you are buying extra dipping sauces, the cajeta was the family favorite. I'll definitely be buying from Ms. Valles again!
