Bottom line... IT WAS AWESOME. Elaboration time... We got one of the newer, fully equipped cabins, which came with A/C, running water and flaunted a private full bathroom. The cabin sleeps 6 (we put more people in there but, shhhh!), and was more than accommodating for say, hypothetically speaking, 6 adults and 6 kids with some blow up mattress support (the cabin limit set by the campground is 6). The cabin rate was $200 a day. The cabins have a private room with one queen bed (I think... I sleep on a king bed normally because I'm an American), a loft room with a double (Again, American, and I really have no idea, as I typically have enough room in my giant bed at home to lounge, eat a smorgasbord, practice calligraphy and also sleep), and a set of bunk beds in the common area. The one bad mark I'll award --and this is a mighty stretch-- is that the playground area, which wasn't great to begin with, was conveniently closed due to COVID, but was in shambles anyways. The playground should be upgraded ASAP. Our family went to Adventure Bound Camping Resort - Four Winds for Mother's Day Weekend, and it was…read morefantastic. We had a lovely time; the location was ideal for a family vacation; we had a deluxe cabin that was extremely beautiful, very clean, and had all of the facilities you'd need for a wonderful weekend. The cabin was incredibly gorgeous and spacious enough for (5) of us; the only tiny flaw I saw was the mattress in the master bedroom, which was really hard and you could feel all of the springs - it wasn't an old mattress, but extremely solid with no give. There were no additional difficulties, and the setting was excellent. We went fishing at their pond with the kids, who thoroughly enjoyed it. This location has spots for tents, campers, cabins, and even memberships; all of the members were friendly, and everyone waved hello. The property management was really helpful and friendly; they would cater to your every need. We also rented an offroad golf cart and had a great time with it; what a unique rental feature. I was really pleased with our stay; I would definitely stay there again and would suggest it to others based on our experience.

Though they are 1.5 hours from the falls, we found the area to be safe for families and very pleasant. We came in late but someone from the office was happy to drive us to our spot and we set up camp just in the nick of time. We enjoyed the clean grounds and awesome atmosphere. I thought they said there were cooking grates on the fire rings. Be forewarned there are not! You can purchase one in the store but I was mildly annoyed as I had one at home I could have brought but didn't due to the website boast. So I had to buy another. While here we enjoyed campfire blueberry pancakes, hotdogs, roasted corn, and an amazing s'mores bar partly supplied by our haul from the family candy bar bingo event where we scored Reese's, KitKats, snickers, and Hershey bars! The pool was well kept and do not let the inflatable water slides fool you... those things are WICKED!! Got my adrenaline going and everything. I was really pleased with all of the activities offered and their employees who were so much fun and full It's reallyof all kinds of patience with all these kids! It's like going to summer camp with all they do! Well seriously long story short... we WILL be back!!

We are camping in our RV. My only real issue is the ridiculous two adult pool rule if you are with kids. We spent all day at the rodeo. We came back ready to swim after being in the sun all day. Of course my toddler fell asleep so I stayed with him at the campsite and my husband took our other two kids to the pool. They were able to swim for 15 mins before the other people who were at the pool took off. So it was just my husband and kids left. The lady working in the office came out and told them they had to get out because "there has to be two adults and one has to stay on deck". Like, what?!? Seriously? That's the stupidest rule I've ever heard. So he gets my very disappointed kids out of the pool and they are just hanging out pool side hoping for basically a stranger to come swim so they can swim. They waited nearly an hour before they got defeated and came back to the camper. Stupid rule. I've never seen any campground ever have that rule. If you are that worried about a solo parent taking care of their kids, hire a life guard. Or make that pool rule known prior to booking. My kids had life jackets on and my husband is CPR certified. We more than likely not come here again because of this rule. Lame lame LAME.

We stayed here recently on a Friday night after hoping to see air balloons over Letchworth SP. The…read moreinn was easy enough to find since at least the GPS still worked to guide us to the inn. No phone service in most of Letchworth, and no internet access also. If not for the free wifi at the Inn, we'd be lost in space! After a quick tour of the inn in which they also mentioned the future work to be done on another floor of the inn, we turned in hoping to take a hot shower after standing and walking all day in the hot sun. 2-3 mins no hot water in the shower. More time and still NO hot water. Opened the faucet in the sink for over 10 minutes and NO hot water. Went down to ask about it, and nobody was at the desk. No hot shower so went to sleep in a grimy skin. At least the bed was comfortable. There was a ceiling fan and this was the first ceiling fan I've ever seen outside a personal residence, and the blades were clean! But looking around, yes, the place is old and needs a lot of loving attention to detail, as there are scrapes, cracks and peeling something all over. There is dust everywhere and I am allergic to that everything. The hot water is nonexistent tho water pressure was good. Then we wondered IF the plumbing was lead! My wife went down twice for tea and after she left twice, the door popped open all by itself, apparently needing a strong pull to be sure it closes with a click. There is free wifi which helped us greatly in planning for the next day, and as we drove off, in helping us get not lost! We also thought the very light grab and go breakfast was a bit too light, and a nicer sit-down breakfast would have been appropriate, considering the cost of the room. I am sure if they give a bit more attention to the many details of the structure, a decent breakfast and overall the business itself, and the many many rooms, they just may enjoy more occupancy!!

In all our travels this has got to be one of the cleanest, spacious, most well kept places we've stayed at. Unlike some places that have a large maintenance and grounds crew they seem to accomplish everything with just a few hard workers. The owners have a serious work ethic and take pride in their place here. Items in the campground store are very reasonably priced. The owners were explaining some of their plans for the future and their visions for the future and I cannot wait to come back. If you are thinking of visiting western New York you should consider staying here. Less than an hour to Niagara Falls, lots of cool little towns to check out and very scenic drives.

This is a great place out in the middle of nowhere basically. It's kind of close to where I live…read moreso we come here once in a while. It's in a camp site resort and it's next to a pond, the servers usually give us food to feed the ducks on he big patio they have. The indoor seating has a big bar, and lots of space, they have bands here sometimes. There's pool and darts to keep busy while you wait. The food is good. Nothing super special but it's good eats. They have specials for different days of the week and the part we love is the playground across the parking lot. It's fenced in and perfect for the kids, a couple picnic tables for Mom and Dad to rest our bellies while the kids burn off their energy. It's a good family place.

Our reservation in the Moose cabin was for the last 3 nights of their season…read more Upon arrival Denise greeted us and showed us into the cabin. It was just as represented on the website...very nice. When I questioned what the fragrance was in the cabin, Denise said it was a plug-in air freshener. I asked if she would unplug it, as I was sensitive to fragrances. She opened the closet door (where it was hidden) and unplugged it. She said it was a mouse deterrent, but we didn't give it a second thought. The second night of our stay we were kept up by the sound of mice in the wall starting at 2:30 am. Needless to say we didn't want to stay a third night and lose another night's sleep. When Sean came with the muffins that morning, I spoke to him about the mice and said we wouldn't be staying. He immediately said we would not get any refund. He also said that I had been complaining since I got there!! All I did was ask that the air freshener be unplugged! He said he wasn't going to loose $200 because of a mouse. This was not a rustic cabin by any stretch. It was very nice. You just don't expect mice in the walls. He wasn't interested in making any adjustment at all. Maybe a partial refund? I wonder if they were just plain tired from a long season of renting. I wouldn't recommend staying, unless you sleep well with mice and enjoy the smell of sulphur in your bath water.
