We are camping in our RV. My only real issue is the ridiculous two adult pool rule if you are with kids. We spent all day at the rodeo. We came back ready to swim after being in the sun all day. Of course my toddler fell asleep so I stayed with him at the campsite and my husband took our other two kids to the pool. They were able to swim for 15 mins before the other people who were at the pool took off. So it was just my husband and kids left. The lady working in the office came out and told them they had to get out because "there has to be two adults and one has to stay on deck". Like, what?!? Seriously? That's the stupidest rule I've ever heard. So he gets my very disappointed kids out of the pool and they are just hanging out pool side hoping for basically a stranger to come swim so they can swim. They waited nearly an hour before they got defeated and came back to the camper. Stupid rule. I've never seen any campground ever have that rule. If you are that worried about a solo parent taking care of their kids, hire a life guard. Or make that pool rule known prior to booking. My kids had life jackets on and my husband is CPR certified. We more than likely not come here again because of this rule. Lame lame LAME.

Luxury Cabin Review!…read more We stayed 2 nights in cabin 23A, June 13-15. We were taking a road trip (from Indiana) and during our research came across Letchworth State Park. We really wanted to spend some time hiking there so we set out to find a place to stay. We searched for AirBnB's and hotels, but couldn't really find what we were looking for, then came across Woodstream. We have active boys and this was prefect for our family. The cabin was even better than the website pictures. It had 2 AC units and they cooled very quickly. Our boys loved the bunkbeds with privacy curtain and built in nooks, lights and outlets. They even had their own windows! That was such a fun space for them. We did do some limited cooking and it was equipped with everything we needed. We stopped for s'more supplies on the way there and realized we didn't pack our sticks. We were pleasantly supplies that the cabin had them! There was storage for our luggage and bags under the beds as well as cubby space. The fire ring was so cute and we all loved lounging in the adorondak chairs around the fire. My boys loved playing in the creek. We were too busy at Letchworth and our own site to try out the golf course and pool, but when we checked in there were many people enjoying both. We would definitely recommend this place and stay here again!

Camping here is so much fun! We love the lazy river & the golf course. Can't wait to check k out…read morethe new pool this summer!

He doesn't have good people skills and should not be working in the hospitality business. He came to our campsite at midnight and was yelling at us and threatening us. The rest of the weekend he made sure to tell us exactly how much time we had left to do every single activity. Swimming in the morning: you have 15 minutes left, hanging out in the lodge: you have 5 minutes left. Not in a polite way, in a 'I need to be in control of every aspect of all things' kind of way. There was supposed to be a fishing derby at 1130, we got there at 1135 and it had been canceled already, because no one showed up. There's nothing special about this place and with such an over-bearing presence throughout the weekend, it was just not enjoyable. DO NOT recommend.

Outdoor pool was clean & the kids loved the game room. We stayed in the Coneflower cabin. Cabin was clean, beds were comfortable & there was plenty of storage & counter space. Nice table inside but we ate our meals outside at the picnic table behind the cabin. There was a fire pit back there too. Two things that kept this from being 5 stars were the temperature of the loft sleeping area & price of firewood. While the air conditioning on the first floor of the cabiwas very comfortable, the loft was really hot. So hot in fact that on the second night of our stay, we all slept together on the two full sized beds downstairs. It would be best if there was a second air conditioner upstairs or at least a ceiling fan. The firewood was $11/bundle. I would recommend buying from locals who were selling bundles of wood for $5 each Overall had a nice time & would stay here again

It seems to be Evergreen is best known for seasonal camping (you fancy-pants camper campers types,…read morewith your built on decks with outdoor carpets made to look like well maintained grass), but I'm going to tell you my experience as a cabin renter camper type. Bottom line... IT WAS AWESOME. Elaboration time... We got one of the newer, fully equipped cabins, which came with A/C, running water and flaunted a private full bathroom. The cabin sleeps 6 (we put more people in there but, shhhh!), and was more than accommodating for say, hypothetically speaking, 6 adults and 6 kids with some blow up mattress support (the cabin limit set by the campground is 6). The cabin rate was $200 a day. The cabins have a private room with one queen bed (I think... I sleep on a king bed normally because I'm an American), a loft room with a double (Again, American, and I really have no idea, as I typically have enough room in my giant bed at home to lounge, eat a smorgasbord, practice calligraphy and also sleep), and a set of bunk beds in the common area. The one bad mark I'll award --and this is a mighty stretch-- is that the playground area, which wasn't great to begin with, was conveniently closed due to COVID, but was in shambles anyways. The playground should be upgraded ASAP. (NOTE: Neither Yelp, Inc. nor Jim B. condones in any way, shape or form, the circumventing or breaking of any rule, such as cabin maximum capacity, regardless of how arbitrary a rule may be, and it is the expressed position of Jim B. that every person should respect the order set by the establishment, blindly, and at every cost, no matter what.)

Now as an adult I can appreciate it even more! There are plenty of trails to explore by foot or bike. If that's not your speed, you can rent the paddle boats or a canoe to go around Rabbit Island, go fishing, or go for a dip in the lake. It's a nice quiet campground and coming from the city, you can really see the stars out there! If tent camping or RV camping isn't your thing, you can go glamping and rent one of their cabins. They're perfect to enjoy with some family or friends (I've done both on a few occasions). Bonus- you get your own shower, toilet and a fully functional kitchen! But you'll have to book them early as they can go fast! My family has long ties with the Bull family and they are truly amazing people! Definitely book a weekend (or a season) with Camp Arrowhead!
