Review for June 2018…read more Had a great experience at Kelly's. Called the week of for an appointment and was lucky to end up with Janinne. The welcome wasn't so great (i think the receptionist was on break) and we started 15 min late but all was well with the shampoo cut and style which is what i came for. I like my hair cut without blunt ends and otherwise am not too picky. Janinne cut it perfectly and was super friendly for a chat. Will be back in a few months!

I was happily greeted by Vita and told her I was interested in getting color. She examined and assessed my hair and I told her the color that I was looking for and she said let's do it! I sat down in the chair and soon met Omar who was friendly and had a great vibe. After five minutes it was obvious that Vita was a pro! Once we started chatting it was an instant connection! A day before they called and moved my appointment to 9:15 which I accepted. This morning , day of appt , I get a call pushing me back to 10 am at which time I threw a fit. I had a Father's Day brunch with the family followed by an afternoon wedding. I went over there to find one stylist washing out another client and about to start a haircut. They told me it was a difficult color appt like I care. She supposedly came in at 8 am so that's a bunch of lies. Clearly either the stylist or the client was late but who cares??? My daughter showered later that night and it was awful! Went back and the lady at the desk used the excuse that I requested a 'dry' cut. So apparently they can't cut evenly on dry hair. If you are not competent enough to perform a service, DON'T offer it! Don't waste your time or money here. Expensive, unprofessional and unqualified! Their response to my review on Facebook that they posted was nothing more than and out right attempt to cover up their mistake with lies saying they said they didn't want to dry cut my daughters hair. I have zero respect from someone who makes a mistake an attempts to cover it up with lies. Poor excuse for a human being.

I feel so pampered during every appointment at the Color Room! All of the staff are so nice and…read moreengaging, they always make everyone feel so welcomed! I followed my hairstylist, Anna, to Color Room because of her incredible talent with color (my dark blond hair looks so natural and covers a lot of white hair!) and styling my hair. I receive a lot of compliments in the way it's layered. In addition to Anna, the other stylists are just as talented which is evident in how great their clients look after their appointments and they are extremely happy! The salon is impeccable and trendy inside, plus they offer their clients an assortment of beverages and chocolate! For all these reasons, I always look forward to my appointments! Side-note: My daughter (college student and model) comes down from NYC for color (I believe Ice Blond) because Anna consistently does it perfectly!
