They've both turned out great and she was always available and willing to help whenever I had questions. Over a year after I got one of my cats from her she was still willing to help me with a vet when one of the cats turned out to have feline stomatitis, a disease that caused her gums to become inflamed and kept her from eating. Dana cares more about the cats under her care than anything on this planet. It's ridiculous that people would make up "investigations" by the department of agriculture. Are you kidding me? They pull cats out of kill shelters and try to take care of them and find them homes. You can't always tell if months later a medical issue is going to arise; but if it does, you'd better bet Dana and her fosters would be willing to break their backs for your sick cat all over again.

He was polite over the phone but once we got to the store he was very rude. The girl that worked for the organization that helped us was very kind, she expressed that she was unaware of the procedures, but would do her best and call him. I could hear him aggressively speaking to her through the phone. The phone was not on speaker and he was loud enough for me to still hear. Any person who thinks it's okay to speak to employees/volunteers in that manner is not someone I want to do business with. He also failed to mention key points of the adoption process over the phone knowing that we were driving out of the way to get there. The individual employees in store were fantastic, but I would not be looking for animals with him again. I instead recommend Cherokee animal shelter in canton off Univiter, we have adopted both of our cats from there and they have always been incredible and warm. For cats over the age of 6months the adoption is free, but you can provide donations to keep them going.They are a place that you know just want to provide loving homes, you can feel it in the atmosphere that every person working there loves their job and animals.

Their prices are pretty competitive and reasonable. Most of the babies to kids clothes were only $2-$3 bucks and the adults range from $4-$15 depending on the items. They also have a program where you can donate items and get up to 10% off your total purchase. So start digging through the closet now and pull out all the stuff that you don't wear, can't fit in or never wore but you don't want to give it up because you paid a lot of money for it....and bring it on down here...and while you're here...pick up a few diddies to refill the closet space that you just freed up...

After the exam, I was told straight up that my dog didn't need dental cleaning, so I could not book the service. I decided to purchase heartworm preventatives using their online pharmacy, but after EIGHT attempts in a month to get the medication, the order was rejected EVERY SINGLE TIME by their veterinarian. Each time the reason was that there was a prescription on file already so they could not approve an order request, but there WAS no prescription on file to begin with. All I can assume is that Pawproject wants my dog to get heartworm infection and die. I hate Pawproject and will report them to the Georgia Board of Veterinary Medicine. Don't go there.
