My mom and I went there recently to look for a replacement dryer. At first we are thinking of buying a brand new unit, but the salesperson also suggested a used unit that looked to be in great shape. Did ultimately did get a brand new unit at another competitor, but only because my mom was just ready to be done looking and wanted to go home. Needless say I almost took home and went to Letz's for this purchase. Will consider for future appliance purchases. read more

I had a Maytag dishwasher, previously purchased from Letz, that was displaying E1F9 error. I requested a service person to diagnose the problem. The service person said it was a defective drain pump. The cost to repair was about $30.00 less than a new dishwasher. I went with the exact model Maytag dishwasher but factory direct. Installed the new dishwasher and hauled the old one to the dump. Almost immediately the new dishwasher gave the same E1F9 error. Researching the error on the net gave the following, 1) Clogged filter or hose, 2) Improper drain placement, 3) Knock out plug not removed, 4) Issues with the drain pump system, 5) Check for blockages where the drain hose connects. Reviewing the errors in suggested order, I removed the drain hose and found a severe blockage. Replaced the hose and the unit works fine. It appears I threw away a good dishwasher because of a service person not diagnosing the error correctly. Called Letz and spoke with the manager to just to inform him of the outcome so that the service person would check the #1 problem, which was the easiest and least expensive, before jumping to the #4 problem to save their other customer's the expense. I was not asking for and reimbursement, just providing information. The manager became defensive in the conversation and said if they replaced the pump, and it didn't work they would check other possible issues and not charge for the pump. By his suggestion, I would need to commit to repair costs equal to a new machine when the #1 problem was a $25.00 drain hose. Customer service is not a priority with them and if you shop there, do not expect service after the sale. read more

What a nightmare!!! When buying a dishwasher my husband was treated so disrespectfully. Mr. Letz senior was argumentative and defensive when my husband was just attempting to explain the reason for the call! When there are dignitaries in Casper, WY, who have been mistreated I am not surprised but so stunned they are still open. Please know they did not live up to our warranty because you can't argue with them, or they will find a loophole to make certain you lose! Please know that my husband and I are professionals and have never been treated like this!!! read more

I would strongly recommend staying away from Letz's service department! They have a very hard time keeping track of their scheduled appointments so when they lose them you end up getting pushed to the back and have to wait usually a week or two longer. They are not worth the stress! read more

I have shopped Letz Appliance store for years. I have always been treated nicely. They know their appliances and are very informative and helpful. I have called them with many many questions and always greeted with respect. It makes me wonder, as I read some reviews, if the people who have negative reviews were expecting to be treated with kid gloves? Yes they are straight forward and I appreciate that. I get my answers quickly and understand what to do. They do not pressure customers as some sales people do In big box stores. If you have a problem with them, go somewhere else and let them deal with you, and leave your negative comments to your self. read more

In the last 40 years I have purchased both new and used appliances from Letz's and have never been disappointed in their service UNTIL TODAY In reading the reviews I am not the only who has been disappointed in the way they were treated when trying to resolve an issue.... So unfortunately after 40 years I will no longer be a customer of theirs or recommend them....Jason you need to work on your people skills and not make excuses for your delivery people and I get it it's tough to hire good delivery people but you do need to explain to them it's just commen courtesy to ask before doing something and maybe close the bathroom door so I don't hear them pissing in the toilet remember your delivery people are a guest in my house... they don't live here...., read more

I have had issues with major retailers customer service as of late and decided to check out some local business. I went to Letz and was immediately helped by Dan who was informative and started explaining all my options. I left thirty minutes later after purchasing an inexpensive brand new washing machine! This was late on a Saturday and could naturally not be delivered until Monday. Not only did they arrive within the 30 minute time frame I was given at time of purchase, they removed old unit, installed and tested new unit, & even took another dead appliance I had outside, away at my request. They service every machine they sell and have a variety of second hand appliances for sale as well. If you need some appliances Letz is the place to go. read more

I have never written a review. I know other people who bought appliances from Letz appliance and were happy. In fact we have previously purchased an appliance from them with a good experience. The problem seems to be the repair side of the business. Our appliance repair encounter was an incredibly poor experience. We were referred by the maker of the appliance to this store. 1st call the end of June, we were told they would come a couple of weeks later. Okay. When they arrived the repairman looked at the oven and said he needed another person to help pull the oven out. Another service call was scheduled 2 weeks later. 2nd visit. Take apart appliance. Now they need a part. They ordered the part, we were told 1-2 weeks time to get they part. After we have made multiple calls about where the part is, it comes in. Then schedule next visit. Now 5 weeks after the first call. 3rd visit. Placed part and it still doesn't work. So they need another or different part and another "service" visit. We called another service company. They called the manufacturer who directed what the problem I was. The level of incompetence is amazing. When we told them we don't want Letz to return they argue about who would pay for the part they put in and took out because it didn't work. They tell me they will charge for the NO SERVICE, service calls. When I told them I won't pay them for service they didn't provide they said they will send it to collections and ruin my credit. I am so disappointed that a local company acts so poorly. There was no apology, we didn't get this right on 3 visits. We are sorry you don't have the use of you appliance. NOPE, WE ARE GOING TO RUIN YOUR CREDIT. Can you believe that? I can't give them zero stars. It is not a surprise they are rated so poorly. read more

Terrible customer service and very rude people. I would not buy anything from them EVER! Go to the big box stores if you actually want someone that cares. I'm not sure how they have stayed in business all these years. I was just hung up on when trying to solve an issue with them! They just don't get it! I'm in sales and am appalled at their attitudes! I purchased a Whirlpool washing machine in November. Was told they had to rebuild the transmission but gauranteed their work. The clutch went out and they refuse to make it right. It was an expensive used unit but I figure the warranty and purchase from an appliance store was worth it....absolutely not. Do Not buy from this store!!! read more

Just gonna throw something out there for you because no one should have to endure the kind of treatment I just had to from Letz's appliance. Now also this isn't slander when it is fact of what happened and is also being reported to the BBB. I pray none of you ever shop there. I just bought a house and my contractor uses Letz's for his appliances. FROM DAY ONE I said I wanted all Maytag appliances. Supposedly that was fine because I didn't mind paying a difference in cost. So when we moved in I got a Maytag fridge, Maytag hood, and a Maytag stove and a weird off brand dishwasher... calling Letz's trying to get a straight answer out of somebody was terrible. when I was dealing with the normal employees, However, at least I was treated with some tact. The Owner is a different story. I would call and try to explain the situation. (this is over a few months too cause they would never call me back) This last time which was this morning I explained that I hadn't heard back in over a month and was trying to solve our situation. The owner told me that he didn't remember me so he had to go find the "ticket" . after finding said ticket he stated that I never said I wanted all my appliances to match and that I was being rude. I tried to tell him that I talked to someone last month that said it could be worked on (which took multiple times because he kept cutting me off and not letting me say anything) and that there must have been a miscommunication. "No there WAS NO MISCOMMUNICATION AND IF YOU KEEP SAYING THAT I'M GOING TO HANG UP ON YOU!" *click* I called back and told him i was trying to have an adult conversation with him and that if he couldn't talk to me with out cutting me off or being rude that I would like to speak to someone else. NO. he was the owner , etc, etc,... Apparently now if i want my ONE appliance to match my other ones (considering that i supposedly didn't want all Maytag I wanted all but one to match.... *rolls eyes*) he is going to charge me a CRAP load, because the dishwasher is now used. SO apparently HIS mistake is going to cost me an arm and a leg and they do NOTHING to help out their clients who just spent thousands on appliances. And any mistake they make is YOUR FAULT and if you argue they will hang up the phone on you like children. NEVER SHOP THERE! read more

My wife and I purchased a refrigerator from Letz with glowing promises of how great their service would be in anything should go wrong with the appliance. WRONG. The ice maker quite working after about 8 weeks. Calls to Letz resulted in two service visits and nothing fixed. A visit to the store resulted in some of the most rude and obnoxious treatment we have ever been exposed to. Letz was supposed to call us before Christmas and schedule another service visit to repair our ice maker. They never called. After several weeks, we visited the store and was told there was no "Ticket" for our ice maker to get repaired. After explaining that we had been without a functional ice maker for FOUR MONTHS, we very nicely explained that the service promised when the refrigerator was purchased was just not happening. The store manager who we were talking with angrily told us Letz that since we did not like their service they would not be coming to our house again, and that any repairs would be our responsibility and expense. I asked if that meant Letz was abandoning the one year service warranty, and he replied "Yes, we will not be coming back to your house to fix anything." Word of warning and caution, DO NOT SHOP AT LETZ UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE FRUSTRATED. You are not a customer at Letz, just someone to get a quick sale and then abandon. read more
