While CC claims to have followed up with me, that just means that they did not resolve the matter…read moreat hand while sending unhelpful emails. Again I received a new iteration of my medical record files but no written guarantee that the file is indeed complete and accurate, which would be imperitive since I have several versions of it now, all several 100s to 1,000s pages long that cannot be compared, to identify all the differences in it. As a result it is impossible to verify if the file is now complete and accurate. Instead they let their lawyer reach out to me, telling me that they will not sign something that provides certainty regarding the latest file being complete and accurate. This is just another way of saying "We do not know if this file is now complete and accurate, that's why we won't sign a guarantee.". The matter is not over. HHS is monitoring them now and I am not done getting my complete and accurate medical file one day from CC. On the day of this update being posted, CC is 511 days (!!!) behind on what the law requires, which is to provide the complete and accurate medical file within 30 days.

I now look at my life a lot differently after talking with him so many times. I am sad he moved away, but I am happy for him, and I am so glad I put in many hours of hard work with Michael. One of the things that sticks with me from our sessions is his gentle prodding to get me to understand and describe how I physically feel when talking about upsetting or uplifting emotional feelings. Where do I feel it? How does it feel. The words "bad" or "good" just weren't descriptive enough, and he encouraged me to more fully process my feelings. I really enjoyed this new take on therapy and it worked well for me in understanding my own feelings and telling others how I feel. I saw…read moreher many times and at first it was fine but her behavior became erratic in the last 6 months or so. I was "treated" to a litany of strange comments, passive-aggressive behavior and a very judgemental attitude. One day she told me she was angry with me for saying something about a personal issue of mine. Huh? I thought the sessions were about me, not her. And it's supposed to be safe to speak about any topic. When I confronted her about this she finally agreed it was improper, then the next session she decided to revisie our fee agreement in a punitive way. Wow, a passive-aggressive therapist. Great. Shortly thereafter she told me it was my job to watch the clock each session so we ended on time. Seriously? That's the therapist's job - not the client's. (I refused). Then she told me one day that when I was depressed it was bringing her down. Huh? I don't even know what to say to that. Therapists are paid to treat mood disorders so this was highly unusual and offensive. It was like she was coming apart at the seams. There is plenty more to say but the bottom line is that she violated the first rule of healthcare professionals everywhere: "first do no harm" and for that reason she gets this one star review.
