I cannot say enough good things about Level 3 Martial Arts. Before starting at Level 3 my daughter (who has an autism diagnosis) previously attended a different martial arts studio where she was one of anywhere from 25 to 35 students per class and she often felt lost in the class, and she felt like she wasn't able to completely understand what the instructors were trying to teach the students. Now, she likes going to her classes at Level 3 because she appreciates how Sensei Eric really takes his time to teach and demonstrate the moves, and she feels like she's really learning more than she did before. She feels more confident about doing martial arts, and also likes the flexibility of being able to choose what martial arts moves to work on. I would recommend Level 3 Martial Arts to anybody at any level of experience. They will meet you where you are at, and work with you to reach your goals. read more

I will admit I was very curious of this martial arts academy when I first signed up my daughter. At first I thought the only reason she wanted to do this class was due to the fact her cousin was doing it as well. As she started to go more and more she started liking the class, but for herself. Aside from learning defense skills in this course; she has also gained so much confidence within herself and has improved in her social skills as well. One of the best things I have done for myself was to walk into this building and ask about the classes. I'm a big guy with little to zero martial arts experience and I felt very welcomed from the beginning. I started taking the adult BJJ classes twice a week and it evolved into Muay Thai 2x/wk and Bjj 3x/wk. The instructor and sensai Eric are amazing. The other students are super welcoming and patient . My sons and I all started at Level 3 a few weeks ago and couldn't be happier. His studio offered exactly what I was looking for, which was one-on-one training specifically tailored for protection. I signed my niece and I up lessons. Eric's one-on-one training has been extremely beneficial. He is very thorough, professional, and well versed in the art of Jiu Jitsu. When they decided to leave "z ultimate" and started their own studio "level 3" I did not doubt for a moment that I was going to follow them. Level 3 has been such a great experience for both of my daughters! Even during COVID, Level 3 has designed an outdoor karate program that every kid can benefit from. Kids are given flags to keep themselves separated, don't share equipment, and still get a great class in! Both of my daughters (age 5 and 7) have become more physically fit, more respectful, and more self-disciplined from their martial arts classes. They want to continue to attend each week. Our experience at Level 3 has been 5 Star. You know when you hear people say, it takes a village to raise a child? Well, it's very, very true. Justin, like many kids, has his moments of defiance and impulsiveness. Many of those moments are then our responsibility, as parents to teach right from wrong. I just have to say, it's absolutely awesome to have Sensei Eric Perlman to be a third party in helping us during these teachable moments. He is our "golden ticket" when Justin doesn't care what we have to say, and all I have to say is, "I'm telling your Sensei"... game changer!!! After a particularly challenging day with Justin, I used my "golden ticket" by emailing his Sensei. I snapped this picture of him talking to Justin (as I pulled up to pick him up from class) , explaining the situation and asking how the tools he has learned through martial arts could have helped in this situation. Justin came out of that meeting with his head held high, focused, and happy. These are moments, as parents, we need help. Our 5 year old has been going to Level 3 for around 2 years, and when COVID-19 hit in March Eric and his team pivoted to ZOOM classes which was awesome to keep our son engaged and on a schedule (and active) and now we are so thankful to be able to have classes at the park twice a week. I have been going to this dojo for about three years and I couldn't be happier! I had to leave for several months at one point (for personal reasons) and I was re-welcomed with open arms. I can honestly say I am glad to have trained with good people who welcome you like family! The classes are great and I enjoyed being part of an amazing team! The instructors are great and show great encouragement towards you to be able to have a positive and enriching experience every time! Even on days where I was a bit overwhelmed and stressed out I could come in here and be completely relaxed and feel good. The instructors are amazing and will figure out your best learning technique, and will teach you with how you will learn it best! It is a great experience and they always will try their best to accommodate to you!
