Upon walking in I immediately loved the decor and overall ambiance of the place. The baristas were very friendly and gave some solid recommendations. We got the Flapjack and Buckeye drinks and they were so yummy. We also got the chia pudding which tasted like banana bread. They also have pre-order sour dough loaves with specialty flavors so we put in an order to grab one on our way out the following morning!! Very good place and would come again any time I'm in Newark.

Owner Jessica Wolford didn't even have enough courtesy to contact me - a customer to resolve any issues. And here is the issue. I ordered through their online system-no where does it state you have to wait until the entire teams order is placed and window closed before the order would be filled. Called to check on my order as we wanted it for our first Fall tournament and to give to our family in town at the time. No answer left a voicemail-no call back. BUT my account was charged immediately. Order was placed on 8/15 mind you and today is 9/24/20-no order and no communication back from the owner until I had to call and she happened to answer the phone today. Only person that I spoke to via email was her employee and on the phone once-her employee specifically told me she would speak to the owner and I would get a refund as the time that I called and spoke to this person our order wasn't even printed yet. Basically the owner Jessica Wolford printed my order knowing that the order was no longer needed and an employee stated I would get a refund just so she could keep the funds. Again as of today this business owner had no courtesy to even contact me. Poor poor business etiquette and again still no product in my hands. Do not support this business! Trying to give back to a small business and this is what you get-no communication what so ever from the owner! Good job way to represent local business owners!

I left and came back and she still wasn't there...happened to just go and look around the other shop, and after about 20 additional minutes she still hadn't shown up. Unfortunately, the man who worked at the other store didn't know when she would be back, but left her number with me. Tried to call and didn't get an answer. Tried again the next day as she opens at 12, and she wasn't there when I went in at 12:15. Finally she showed up around 12:30, but was less than apologetic about my troubles. I will not be going back, I would be better off making my own stuff. And honestly who takes a 2 hour+ lunch? HORRIBLE experience.
