Then, two appointments showed up on my schedule that I never personally scheduled or agreed to -- and when I didn't show up, I was charged two $50 "no-show" fees. Just to be clear, this had happened previously with an appointment I missed legitimately, and I had no issue paying the fee. When I questioned it, the explanation was basically: once they put something on the schedule, it's considered confirmed unless you cancel, and reminder texts count as confirmation. I asked for proof that I actually scheduled those visits, but what I got back were policy copies and reminder screenshots with nothing showing that I ever agreed to those dates. They refused to waive the fees. So my takeaway for future patients: watch your schedule closely and get clear confirmation of what you've actually agreed to, because Brostrom WILL do whatever they can to extort you for those fees. And if you have a problem with it, they will let you know by sending you to collections over the no-show fee.

I have been lucky enough to use the services of Dr. Alati numerous times, and to see him for maintenance visits. Every time I have had an actual pain from a sports injury or from tweaking something I was not supposed to, and I go to see him for my problem, he is able to accurately diagnose what is wrong with me and provide immediate relief from the pain I am suffering. The best example I can provide was from sciatica pain I was experiencing from playing football with a group of older guys. The pain was with me for a month until it got so bad my leg went numb.
