Hallelujah... finally, a place with live music in the Boise area!…read more We literally stumbled across this place after striking out at a couple of breweries that seemed like absolute no-brainers to have live music on a weekend. Apparently that's harder to find in the Treasure Valley than good beer. Then we found this gem. The Last Call was playing, and they were fantastic. In fact, if I ever get frustrated enough to open my own brewery just to show the Treasure Valley what it's been missing, they're getting the first call. They'd be the anchor band. Great atmosphere, great beer, and--best of all--live music. We'll definitely be back.

I have tried the flatbread the fries, the salads clearly I tried the Parmesan chicken sandwich and it was disgusting. I mean look at the photo. I'm not liked anything on their menu except for the barbecue fries which they don't have anymore. The Parmesan garlic fries are too strong. The flavor is overpowering. The Caesar salad has way too much dressing and the lettuce is not crispy enough. The service is kind of hit or miss but it's a very busy place but sometimes you have to wait 20+ minutes for your check. It's a great time when they host dancing or Trivia, but I would not come here on a regular night nor would I ever order their food. Their drinks are good but kind of depends on the bartender because sometimes they're not made correctly according to the ingredients listed on the drink menu. However, the line dancing is phenomenal, and I do really love their outdoor seating, especially the fire pits in the winter

BanBury Golf Course is hands down my go-to spot for golf in the Treasure Valley. It is not only…read morebeautifully designed but also rich in history. BanBury, a public course in Eagle thoughtfully designed by John Harbottle III, has consistently ranked among Idaho's top 10 public courses by Golf Digest for nearly two decades. The course flows gently along the South Channel of the Boise River and offers both challenge and charm. It was the first in our area to host a USGA championship, the U.S. Junior Girls. They are also adding a new simulator building next to Harvey's, their on-site restaurant. The space will feature three TrackMan simulators, full club-fitting services, and direct access to the bar, which sounds perfect for practice or a post-round hangout. My favorite part is sharing this place with friends. The golf course is pristine and welcoming. The staff is phenomenal, especially their PGA pro Drew, who gave me two lessons and runs fantastic group clinics. I always leave feeling more confident on the green. The restaurant side is just as amazing. The team, especially Law, knows our order so well that last visit he brought us our Arnold Palmers before we even asked. We always round out our day with lunch. Chicken tacos, Caesar salad, Reubens, burgers -- the food never disappoints. For evening golf or dinner, their prime rib and salmon are standout dishes. BanBury offers a flawless blend of great golf, excellent instruction, warm hospitality, and delicious food. I highly recommend it whether you are there to play, to eat, or just to spend time with friends.

Played Banbury this weekend on a visit to town. One of the premier courses in Boise for decades,…read morethe decline of this course has been rapid since the departure of the original management team and greens keeper. Once the best public course within hundreds of miles, is now a shell of itself. What used to be a destination for me any time I was around, has become a once a year stop at the most. It's upsetting, especially considering how high the demand is in Boise for an elite public golf course. This weekends round was made especially miserable because of two factors the course absolutely had control over. The first being that myself (single digit handicap) and my partner (mid-handicap) were paired with two young men in their 20's, one of which had never played before. Needless to say, he was miserable, as were we. I had to buy drinks for the group behind us to apologize. Most egregious however, was that the course decided to let a group of FIVE people out in the middle of a Sunday afternoon, to film some Tik-Tok Golf Influencer "content". Our front nine, playing behind these folks took over 2 hours and 45 minutes, but then after the turn Hole 10 took 31 minutes BY ITSELF! By hole 14 we had decided to go ahead of them, and then were verbally accosted by the group as if wed done something inappropriate. And all of this cost me well over $100. The course conditions were mediocre and torn up, and it was crowded and slow even without the influencers. Highlights included awesome service from the folks in the restaurant and bar, and the young lady driving the beverage cart. All of which were affable, friendly, and made sure to take great care of us. Also the gentlemen in the Pro Shop were very professional, and understood my frustrations when I went to speak with them post round. I won't be back to Banbury this year. Might not be back again unless there's major changes to the operations and standards at Banbury Golf Club. Here's hoping that happens, because it sucks to see a world class golf course end up like that.

Do not eat here! I am so disappointed because I was really excited to try them for the first time…read more My roommate and I had never been there, so we both went to their website to check out the menu. While we were on the site, we saw that they had a welcoming promotion for a medium pepperoni pizza. Great!! We both used one since we signed up separately and checked out separately. We both included a large tip, plus paid taxes and fees, got a confirmation from the website saying the Order was completed. Voilà! My roommate offered to go pick up the pizzas so I could hang back with my little ones (who were also very much looking forward to pizza for dinner). Well, when she got to the restaurant she called me to let me know they were only making one pizza because it was one per person. She told me that she explained to them the other was for me, but they still said No. Like what in the world?? Then she waited a REALLY long time. When someone finally emerged from the backroom, she thought they were coming to tell her the pizza was almost done, but instead the hostess explained that something happened with their oven. They told her the pizza fell apart in the oven so they had to start over. So my roommate patiently waited even longer (I told her to just forget it over the phone). Needless to say, I was about to just give the kiddos cereal when she finally got home. Omgoodness it was way past dinner time now! Well, the pizza was ice cold (of course! ), but we were so hungry we didn't care. The best part? My sweet roommate insisted on letting the kids and I have it all. After all that she had been through, she still went without. I insisted she have some, but she said no and even apologized for wanting to try that place. She is the best!!! Johnny Carinos? Not so much.... Morale of the Story: If you're going to have a Welcoming Coupon for your business - honor it. To turn customers away (new customers at that!) because you are penny pinching says more about the integrity of the owner, the customer service from the staff, and the likelihood that they are cutting corners elsewhere in an effort to save money. During my roommate's experience, the restaurant was VERY quiet at dinnertime, the oven issue so bizarre (I'm well aware I probably ate pizza that had been intentionally disgusted with .. Maybe that's the real reason she didn't want to have any! ). Anyhow, apparently, the whole ambiance of the place was like a depressed Olive Garden. Please just go anywhere else if you are craving Italian food.

I had requested this table so everything was smooth from calling in to getting in. My daughter and I arrived a little early to set up the table. We had flowers, party favors and decor we needed to set up. Our server helped us put the birthday cake in the fridge so it would stay cool. We got everything set up and just chilled till everyone showed up. I did forget the birthday candles I bought so I drove home to grab them. I missed the whole ordering process. I had my daughter order the pineapple hanger steak with no potatoes subbed for veggies for me. I left before they ordered and was only gone for about 25 minutes. My food had already been sitting for 10 minutes waiting for me before I got back. I was honestly surprised at how fast everything was prepared. I did enjoy my meal. It was really good. The hanger steak was tender and very savory. The shishito peppers were cooked and grilled perfectly. I got a total of 6 and only 1 of them was spicy, I'm ok with that! The asparagus was grilled to perfection. Not overly cooked but tender with a slight bite. The best way to have asparagus. I think this would have been a 5 star experience but this is where I'm so unhappy. I brought a cake in. I also brought in candles, a vintage cake plate and plates for us to eat the cake on. It was all planned out. Our server did not communicate with me at all about the cake once she pulled it out for me. One minute it was sitting in it's box on the servers table and the next minute there's a huge, tacky firework in it. Like, I had a pretty cake made with delicate candles to put in it to have this goofy firework in the middle of it. I didn't take one photo of the cake before she violated it with the stupid firework. If you plan on bringing in a cake that you don't want touch, tell your server. Food was great. The vibe was chill. But I will always have this stupid firework in the middle of my cake as a core memory of this joint.
