This is an update. The second time we tied going the place was very busy and the band was VERY LOUD. We couldn't hear each other talk. We sat down and servers walked by us multiple times, no greeting, no "we will be right with you", nothing. We gave up after about 10 minutes. Last night we gave them another shot. Our waiter was very nice. We ordered a charcuterie board to share batten 4 of us, salads and main dishes. We received our main dishes first, charcuterie board next and salads last. Was pretty backwards but, whatever. I ordered French dip which is supposed to come with au jus but I did not receive it and had to ask for it. Again, the waiter was very nice and food was good but...I think the kitchen might need to be told that apps come first, salads come next and then the main dishes... and not all at the same time. This place has some great food. It was also really poppin at 930pm. Live band, the waiters and waitresses were hustling. I came here with a group of people. We sat in a covered area and ordered some food. I got the tenderloin crostini's. Oh my goodness were they good. The steak was tender, the whipped feta on point, no strawberries though, and it had fried arugula on it. The arugula had no flavor besides being crunchy. Oh yea, these were also very salty. A friend got the steak quesadilla. That steak was a party in my mouth. I want to go back and just eat that. It was the most flavorful quesadilla that I've ever had. He also got the Serrano peppers. There were like 30 of them in a plate. A girl I was with she ordered the cookie and ice cream. As big as my head. It was delicious. Just an FYI, I had started my intermittent fasting at 330 and it was after 8. I ate it all. No regrets. Also, our waiter was amazing. I really don't like leaving negative reviews, but I feel like I need to share our experiences at Maddie's. First, the positives: the flatbreads with sourdough crust are absolutely phenomenal, truly the best I've ever had. The space itself is gorgeous inside and out, with plenty of seating and even party space. Parking may be limited on-site, but there's more along the street. Unfortunately, the service has consistently been the downfall. During multiple visits outside, it took ages to be greeted, and sometimes we were forgotten altogether. On our second to the last visit at the bar, things finally clicked, great bartender, quick service, excellent food. We left optimistic, tipped heavy, and thought Maddie's could become our go-to. But on our most recent visit (Wednesday, 8/10/25, just after 6 PM), we sat at the bar and were ignored for over three minutes before anyone even acknowledged us. The bartender apologized for changing a keg, but neither he, the manager, nor another staff member behind the bar ever made eye contact or engaged with us. Meanwhile, they were serving and chatting with other patrons right next to us. At this point, we've decided to stick with takeout, because the food is outstanding but the hospitality is simply not there. I even skipped tipping the bar staff this time and instead tipped the food truck team who actually prepares the hot meals. To me, this feels like a cultural issue. Eye contact, greeting guests, and making people feel welcome are the simplest parts of the job, yet they're consistently missed here. The staff seem capable, just complacent and it's frustrating to watch. Aggressive friendliness is cheap, easy to provide, and infectious, a server once told me, "Sometimes you don't even have to bring people their food if you're nice to them and they'll give you a big tip." I wish it were different, because the food deserves a packed house. But as a longtime restaurant industry friend once told me: "If you stop going, eventually the lot empties, the signs come down, and a new name goes up." read more

The perfect patio for summer! The food was hot and fresh with unique flavors including shrimp caprese, tenderloin crostini, Asian crispy chicken sandwich, and hot honey flatbread. Cocktails were refreshing and they had a great selection of wine. The front patio is my favorite spot but there is a side patio where you can bring your pups and a sport bar in the back. Pros - Easy location & convenient parking. Great, service; Kailey P. was friendly, personable, knowledgeable, and attentive. The venue is huge & beautiful, both inside and out. There is a large main dining room and bar, with a beautifully stained concrete floor. A secondary baroom is large and also an additional catering room with buffet inside. There are front and rear outdoor seating areas with fountains and fire pits. We both had the cinnamon vinegrette on our salads, and it was quite interesting and not overpowering with just a hint of cinnamon at the end. Salads consisted of mixed field greens with red onions, tomatoes, olives, and cucumbers. I had the portobello burger with feta cheese, a large amount of sauteed onions, and caesar-dressed romaine on the sandwich. My suggestion would be to add a small drizzle of steak sauce on the mushroom. My companion got one of the flatbreads, which are quite large and worth the price. She opted for the gluten-free crust, which she said was quite delicious. We ended our lunch with the gluten-free flourless chocolate torte. It came with a raspberry sauce and fresh strawberries. I highly suggest taking a bite of the fruit with a bite of the torte for maximum enjoyment. . Cons - Iced tea and water were served in plastic cups. I'm not sure why, but it did not match the ambiance of the room, nor the quality of the cutlery and plateware. No straw for the iced tea made for difficult sipping and a cold nose. . This restaurant is also known to have great events that should not be missed, as we also plan on coming back for dinner and drinks. Just remember to ask for a straw! read more

We came here on a Sunday mid afternoon and sat at the bar. Sunday they offer an all day Happy Hour. I read on their website that they have live music Wednesday, Friday, Saturday nights and Sunday afternoons, that was our not our experience on a Sunday around 2pm. It was beautiful inside, spacious and had a nice wine wall. There was a large party of maybe 30 women celebrating a birthday. I love to see Espresso Martinis on the menu, I had a couple. My friend had a a couple Old Fashions and we shared the Parmesan Truffle fries and then had a Honey Hot Flatbread. Another friend had been wanting to try this place, so she met us down there. As a result, we were there longer than we initially anticipated. We each had a couple glasses of wine once she arrived. Everything was amazing from drinks, food and service. My mother and I came to Maddie's as we hadn't tried it and were shopping near by for my 3 year old. We went and sat out on the patio (saw the bar and bar tables and assumed other seating would be for dining). We were then informed by the waiter that he had to ask us to leave because they only have a liquor license, and although they do serve food, they could only serve 21+. All our years living in the treasure valley, neither of us have never had what appears to be a bar and restaurant refuse service, based on having a child. Needless to say, we won't be returning. Really needs to be advertised as 21+ only. read more

I just love this place! I love that you can buy a cigar, a nice bottle of wine from their wine cellar area, go sit in the bar room/game room or in the main dining room. I think their craft cocktails are yummy and I always get the Paloma (tequila with grapefruit). Their French dip is good but they also have the best fries and salads too. Oh and great burgers! The staff is always friendly and accommodating! There is bar seating too! They often have live music/entertainment of sorts. They have a more extensive menu that before, now offering full meals and not just lite bites. They have higher end scotch's, whiskeys, bourbons and tequilas. I feel like their prices are good on the menu but their wine merch area is priced a little too high for me. I can't pay $40 more for a bottle of wine than from what I could get at Costco. Maddie was the owners pup, who has since passed but their logo is of their beloved dog and that brings me joy just knowing. They have plenty of parking and it's right next to the RV sale place. The food menu offers great bites and we loved the charcuterie board. Most of all- the ambiance. We were excited to check this new place out. Parking was a bit challenging as there wasn't much and had to park across the street along side the bushes. Most of the parking close by were reserved for business next door. For a Tuesday early evening, this place had a good crowd. We had no reservations but were able to be seated as there were ample tables and seats indoors as well as outside. Great ambiance with an eclectic vibe. Food and drinks we ordered: The Cartel & Old Faithful - if you like mezcal, you will love the Cartel cocktail. Old faithful was delicious as well! They were not cheap on the cherry. For the food, we ordered the Pimiento dip, Root vegetable salad, and Smoked Pork Belly Banh Mi sandwich with parmesan garlic fries. Pimiento dip - was not good. The crostini/bread slices with it were tough. Not even crunchy but had that stale texture. Not even soft or crunchy, just tough and resistant texture. It seems like it has been prepped a few hours earlier and just served as is. Not even warmed. Very tough to eat. The cheese spread had a bitter aftertaste and not much flavor. Root vegetable salad was okay. Portion is very small for the price which I got the half size. The Smoked Pork belly banh mi sandwich was also a disappointment. Not much of a filling to bread ratio. The portions were just a bit too little for its price. Overall, I wasn't impressed with the food. Though I do understand they have just opened, I am hoping they take into consideration the reviews that we put in here on yelp. Food was really a disappointment where portions are little and flavors are lacking. Cocktails were good and the service was great. Believe the other poor reviews. This wasn't one time trying this business, this was several times. They just failed. The first time the server was nice enough but they are not following their post hours in regards to when they close, when they stop serving food, When they stop serving drinks. It's basically when they feel like it. The problem is this place looks like it could be a legit good place, but apparently they are not. Our second time there again too late for food and by the way this is early in the evening, not totally late at night so this time it wasn't last call within five minutes but it just wasn't good. I arrived at Maddie's at approximately 2:30 pm today. I ordered a beer and a hamburger. I sat at my table with 7 other gentlemen. Three others also placed their orders for food. The others received their food quite quickly. In over 1 and 1 half hours, I never received my food. It was only after I was paying my tab was it even acknowledged that I had placed an order. Went during the lunch hours on Memorial Day. The ambiance and environment of this location is really good. We ordered Sweet potato fries, Tuscany sunset, tenderloin crostini, woo girl, smooth cowboy and some whiskey neat. Felt that the sweet potato fries were not worth the $12, missing sea salt and the sauce that comes with it is not good at all, very watery. The Tuscany sunset flatbread was good and the tenderloin crostini knocked it out of the park. Our cocktails were solid, but a little overpriced for what they were. Service was mediocre, having to ask twice for the whiskey and refilling our waters. During our stay there were two servers and a total of 7 tables, so not super impressed but despite that this place has great potential. read more

We have visited Maddie's often enough to have settled on the pepperoni flatbread and shrimp cocktail as favorites! The staff are friendly and on top of it and the ambiance is great! except for one thing. on this Saturday afternoon visit, the several couples and small groups enjoying a drink, a snack and some conversation were frequently blasted by loud music from the TouchTunes jukebox. These weren't selected by patrons but are part of the diabolical devices programming....Play music not suited to the venue or patrons real loud and people may pay to hear ANYTHING Else. read more

What a difference a couple of trips makes. The first time there was OK. Good drinks and great staff. A very large wine list (400+) with fair prices. Also have a full craft cocktail selection and some very drinkable whiskeys. It was near closing so not many people and no vibe. Second time there was the Saturday before Halloween and boy was there a vibe. Very festive and fun except they had the rolling door half way down and it was 40 degrees outside. Anyone on that side of the bar (like us) was freezing. On top of that, we were double charged by the bartender (she said it didn't go through) and one of the charges was way over the 2 drinks cost that we had. Didn't see it until the next day on my account. We were done going here. On a whim to show an out of town buddy that was visiting, we went in. Colby was the bartender and that changed everything. He was amazing. Makes great drinks, friendly and had great suggestions. We met him at the main bar and have been back since to see him in the "sports bar". I am giving 4 stars because of Colby. My wife and I went in late Saturday afternoon before it got too busy. Service was very attentive. Lots of variety of bourbons and terrific food. Tenderloin Crostini to die for. Old Fashioned hit the high notes of orange and vanilla. Manager hung around and chatted. We had driven by several times but this was our first visit. I came here a few months ago with my dog to grab some appetizers and drinks. It's not clearly posted where dogs are allowed even though it's advertised as a dog-friendly restaurant. I was told the front is where dogs are to be so we went over there. We were forgotten about. It was a hotter day so I'm glad I brought my own water for the dog. I had to walk in for a menu and order a drink. They said someone would be out to take food order. No one came. I spent an hour with no service. I paid for my drink and left. Didn't want to waste my time waiting for food. I don't think I will be back anytime soon. read more
