I'm not going to lie - I'm a college student and didn't think it was worth getting a custom resume done, but I was sick of getting these crappy customer service jobs and figured what was the harm in trying to get one done. Other resume places were trying to charge me over $300 for a simple resume, and although I could find a crappy resume done really cheap - I figured why bother paying when I could just do chatgpt. I am so disappointed with the services produced by Marci. I was expecting her to assist in writing and producing a resume to wow potential employers not cutting and pasting words into a resume that already existed. Who wants to pay hundreds of dollars to have someone do that??? I let Marci know I was expecting more, hoping she would rectify the situation but she said she would do nothing unless 10-15 jobs were applied for daily for an entire month. Well it has been 15 days and no calls. I wasn't impressed by her work and I guess the employers aren't impressed either. For the record I found you and hired you to write a resume for my husband. I did speak with you though messaging. We spent $225 and didn't get a resume to send out for 10 days. My husband didn't have the guts to tell you how he felt and since I am the one who found you and hired you for him I spoke up to you. I really think we had longer conversations through messaging then you had with him, so it is unfair for you to say I'm not your client. Bottom line I expressed my disappointment and we didn't want any money back. We just wanted you to do what we hired you for. If you were unable to do that I gave you an out by giving us a refund. I really liked you and appreciated you giving my husband a break since he lost his job. We have no problem providing his termination paperwork. You never prompted us to give it to you. We have it if you would like to see it. However, we spent $225 for your services and have not gotten any call backs and he has been applying for 15 jobs a day. We just spent hours drafting a resume so hopefully he gets some call backs because with yours he hasn't had any. read more

Marci's pricing was very competitive and she is somewhat quick to respond, and she's seems friendly via email so I'll give an extra star for that. In terms of editing she was one of two editors I used, and the difference in quality of editing was huge between the two. I'm disappointed with the work Marci provided as I won't be using her version of the edits. She did not provide suggestions on how to improve my document, which the other editor did. It also took Marci 11 days to do the review, compared to only 1 day with the other editor. The other part I didn't like was an extra $10 convenience fee to pay by credit card which wasn't brought to my attention upfront. I was able to avoid paying the convenience fee by doing a bank transfer but it turned out to be more trouble than I would have liked. I'm glad others have had a great experience with her, but as for myself I'm somewhat disappointed. read more

I had been looking for resume writers and they charge $800 and up but she was much less and provided quality work. She did however have many clients ahead of me so I purchased the 1-3 day rush which was still way less than the others.
