He gave me solid recommendations on vapes (such that I bought two of the same brand, different color). He also demonstrated merchandise from their high value case and upsold me on some glass. Great. A few days later I am feeling buyer remorse for getting two of the same thing. I've been using one, and now I'm trying to return the other one. I have the receipt, and the package is still shrink wrapped. I place them on the counter and ask for a refund explaining I don't really need two. Aaron again, still great, has to now explain to me this convoluted return process where I, as the client, am expected to call a number at the bottom of the receipt for Vape and Smoke "customer service" who will then give him permission to make the return. So dumb. But OK I'll make the call, no worries. Meanwhile, Aaron says he will text his boss. He pulls out his phone and messages them over Facebook Messenger. Of course this customer service line is trash, and I don't actually get to anyone, and I'm standing in the store still. Like why am I making a call while I'm in your store. Finally, Aaron makes a decision and says.. you know what my manager isn't messaging me back so I'm just going to do it for you since it's still sealed in the original packaging. FINALLY! I thought this was common sense. We didn't have to go through this song and dance to give me back $35. This was a waste of my time and poor customer service. Even though I did eventually get my rightful return, this whole process felt shady as they are not even close to transparent about their return policies ahead of time. Not even close.

I was the only customer in there and once they found out I wanted juice made one took the order and rang me out while the other made the juice...more on the juice further down. There was a fair amount of mods and tanks on display and what looked like a healthy backstock too. Pricing was reasonable...definitely cheaper than other local shops, had I not just gotten a bunch of vape gear I would have purchased something along with the juice. The juice selection was pretty good, saw a lot of brands that I've only seen online before. Their house brand offering is pretty comprehensive and customizable, if you want to sample juices they also have a good selection to test. With the juice prices they have I'll definitely be going back to try some new flavors. So the whole reason I came in was for a coupon I had which was for a BOGO on the House juice, I went with Gooey Butter Cake and Lemon Frost (Lemon Dream is the correct name)...I could be wrong about the names but they're something along those lines. It was nice seeing the person making my juice lab geared up from head to toe, you can actually see them making your juice through a little window which was cool. They had the juice made in under 10min and I was back on my vape tour. Overall it's a cool little shop with great staff and a fair selection decently priced. As with most good lemon dessert flavored juices the lemon in this is kinda the backing player to the cake which has a nice vanilla taste with hints of cinnamon every now and again. I'd compare this to Dinner Lady's Lemon Tart when it comes to the lemon to tart/cake flavor, I'm certainly enjoying as much as the Lemon Tart! I dunno if I'd say Lemon Dream is an all day vape but it certainly goes well with a cup of coffee and that works for me.

The first time it happened one of the employees had his infant behind the counter just hanging out, I bet CPS would have loved hearing about that. After that incident I contacted the manager/owner and he assured me it was an isolated incident and it wouldn't happened again. So I go back to the shop the day after Christmas to use a gift certificate and what's the first thing I see upon entering the shop? About a half dozen obviously underage kids starring at all the pipes! Seriously WTF?!?! As far as prices go, I am new to the area and haven't been able to get to the other smoke shops yet, but this place is a bit pricey compared to my home state. However, I learned they may be willing to haggle over price because I was shocked to see that a 2 part plastic grinder had a $9 tag, but the lady behind the counter (who I've seen each time and is always very helpful) quickly added "but I can do $5 for it." when she saw I was having to think twice (I'm on a tight budget). I could get a grinder like that for $3 at several booths at the flea market in my old state, but I'm tired of using my fingers and just wanted to get a grinder and go home. I bought the grinder and I'm glad I did. Smoking from my one hitter (also purchased here) is a lot easier now. Overall, I like this smoke shop and there is a chance that I will back next payday for a new pipe and maybe a slightly better grinder.
