Checking in daily as things became available and changes in homes we had previewed. By the time my sister arrived (one week later) to look at the homes the perfect home was on the list and purchased. In fact, she would contact us on an issue and already have a soluation in the works. That transaction was 4 years ago. We again are in need of Laura outstanding services. He actually took the time to take us around town to physically see his past jobs and introduced us to physicians he has done construction build-out and building work for. They are all super happy with him as we were too. I highly recommend this guy and it's enlightening to meet someone who offers the whole setup from architectural design to the finishing of construction. We had already started the process of building our new home, so we recruited The Franklin Team to assist with selling our previous home and guiding us through the closing of our new home. Because of this, I believe that we were treated as nothing more than easy commission from the start. We first worked with Kirsten on the selling end, who was slow to communicate and did not take the time to explain any of the documents she sent. Phone calls only happened when we requested them, as she otherwise relied on brief texts with minimal updates. She also did not provide any professional insight on the offers we received unless asked directly. Our home did sell, so she was effective in that regard, but the lack of initiative and guidance was discouraging. Afterward, we were handed off to Sarah Savard (the co-owner of the company) for our new build purchase. After receiving an introductory text, we heard nothing for two months. It wasn't until we reached out, only two weeks before closing, to voice our disappointment in the lack of communication and request a phone call, that we finally heard from her. During this conversation, she expressed that she did not know when our closing was (it was in 2 weeks) and, once we informed her, she said that there may not be enough time to apply the commission from our previous home to our new home closing. She also advised against getting an independent inspection, which was shocking and concerning. After this phone call, we once again received radio silence. Sarah was also, unsurprisingly, not present for our closing. She instead sent a stranger who arrived almost an hour late, did not introduce herself, and signed for Sarah's commission. To make matters worse, after closing we unexpectedly received a DocuSign from the team requesting a 3% commission adjustment, with no explanation or communication, which further highlights their lack of communication and professionalism. After our closing, we received no communication or congratulations from Sarah. This whole experience has been a huge slap in the face. The lack of communication, guidance, and professionalism was a complete letdown. Based on our experience, I could never recommend The Franklin Team.
