The girl who answered my call was very kind and explained the process to have my appointment. The next morning, Dr Helena was very kind, and compassionate, when she examined me and took time to listen to the kind of pain I had. Since it is a muscle spasm and my back is inflamed, Dr. Helena performed a painless therapy to relax the muscles, she gave me some advice to follow at home and I have an appointment again on Monday. I have been a patient of this clinic for about 2 years now. AND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DR. LEVINSON. I am 49 years old and I am a squash player and I had major back issues when I came to the clinic. DR Levinson resolved the issues I had in 2 months with many visits in the beginning. I was visiting the clinic about 3-4 times per week. They always get me checked into in the clinic fast and out of there in a timely manor. Many doctors I see keep me waiting for so long and it is so frustrating. Their location on Roswell Road is very easy to get in and out of and you can park right at the front door of the clinic. I go there every 2 weeks now because they have Vax D machines! You lay on the machines for about 20 minutes. I also go there every 2 weeks to get a medical massage. They have a therapist there and she really does a wonderful job. 5 stars to Dr Levinson and to all at this clinic! read more

I went to Levinson Chiropractic on a recommendation from a coworker, and was immediately impressed by Dr Keith Riggi. Unfortunately, I was nowhere near as impressed by Dr Levinson. Dr Riggi is no longer at the practice, hence the lower star rating. When I first started going, I was told that I had some hefty issues with my lower back. My insurance didn't cover chiropractic, so they set me up with an awesome payment plan to get the treatments they thought I needed. So at first, all was AWESOME. Three days a week I went in and got adjusted, 2 of those with Dr Riggi. The third day I was with Dr Levinson. Don't get me wrong, she seems knowledgeable and all, but her strength just isn't the same - and I've had much smaller female chiropractors adjust my back in the past. But I could live with that. What I couldn't live with, however, was what happened when I asked her about my progress. I had been going for about 3 months, and when I asked her about how things were looking I got a very vague "well, it takes time...". Basically, keep spending your money on me, we'll see what happens. At least, that's how I felt. I loved everyone else in the office, but I couldn't justify continuing to put money into a practice where the primary caregiver gave me an answer like that - I just plain felt cheated. That would be the end of the story. I found out a few months later that Dr Riggi had left the practice and started his own, and I go see him now and then, and he's wonderful. However, its not the end, because trying to get my records from there has been a huge pain in the butt. I'm trying to file a VA claim, and even after being assured that it would be taken care of, it took a trip into the office and face to face chat with Dr Levinson to make it happen. Fingers crossed she sends them like she said she would.... All in all, if you just need an adjustment now and then, this place is fine. But if you're looking for anything further, I'd go elsewhere. read more

Similar to the review given by Rebecca, I was referred to Levinson chiropractic by a coworker and I had a positive experience for the first month or two of treatment. Originally, I had some pain in my hip and leg from L5-S1. Dr. LeFranc was working on me and I was healing up nicely. Then, Dr. Levison jumped in one session to work on me when Dr. LeFranc was not there. She did my usual adjustment plus one additional move. Needless to say I was in extreme pain within 15 minutes of leaving their office and had to return the next day where Dr. Le Franc straightened me out and the pain started to subside. I didn't think much of it. The pain subsided and I returned to work with minimal pain. Then at the end of that week Dr. LeFranc was out again and Dr. Levinson worked on me. She did my usual adjustment plus one extra move as before. Again, I did not make it home and my partner had to help me get back to their office that next Monday and Dr. LeFranc started working on me again. Another couple weeks passed and the pain was starting to subside but I still couldn't work. Dr. Levison jumped in one last time did the usual adjust me plus her one extra move that Dr. LeFranc had never done on me... and that is when the pain really hit bottom. I am now in the most severe pain I have ever felt in my life. Dr. LeFranc tried to adjust me but the pain was not subsiding. Dr. Levision made an appointment with me at Highfield MRI and I had no problem getting my x-rays from Dr. levinson to take to that appointment. I went to get an MRI and discovered that my L5-S1 had turned into 2 slightly bulging discs and I had a new L4-L5 injury. The original xray did not show any involvement with my L4-L5. I wasn't getting better still and kept getting told "it takes time." Still, everything was all good and they were friendly until I told them I had gone to see a spinal doctor, a sports medicine doctor, and had started physical therapy at a well known hospital. After telling them this, I tried to obtain copies of my medical records from Dr. Levison and they refused stating that "as an associate that he did not own the records and they'd have to ask Dr. Levison." Then they voided my payment and rushed me out of their office under the guise that they didn't want to inconvenience me with waiting. The next appointment they still didn't produce my files. I had to come back a third time to get the notes and x-ray. The next couple appointments after I told them I was going to see doctors for other opinions was when the issues started. That was when the pressure was put on me to get Vax-D. Next, they tried to sell me on Vax-d to fix this horrific pain I am not having. The cost was $3000 and they said my insurance wouldn't cover it. They were very concerned about what the physical therapist was planning for me or if there was a plan. They told me that no surgeon would touch my injury to fix it! I was being shoved into Vax-D without knowing the cost. Then being told afterwards. I have low vision so I couldn't read the contract they put in front of me so I told them I had to take it home. Then they started with...well do you want to make the minimum $1000 payment today. I told them after being out of work for 3 months that I didn't have that kind of money. At which point they settled for $100 payment for the Vax-d they gave me that day which I didn't even know the cost of a single session. Later on I sent an email telling them I wouldn't be signing up for vax-d. The next time I went to the office no one said hello to me...they asked me what I wanted for treatment....it was just weird. They didn't use ice packs like they had been using on me. The whole behavior was strange. Then, my appointments ran out and no one bothered to consult with the doctor as to the plan for my care. The receptionist said..well lets do Monday and Friday so you can come back after you go to your doctors appointment. I had every intention of coordinating my care with them until the receptionist, and Dr. Levinson got attitude with me about the doctors appointments. I do not recommend this place to anyone. I'll be lucky if I can ever go back to teaching dance again....the pain I have now is incredible. I hope that my new doctors can fix my original and new back problems. I must say that Dr. LeFranc is very talented and knowledgeable. He deserves better than where he is working. I would like to continue seeing him but I think that the Levisons control what he does and it would be detrimental to my care. It's a shame because he is really good at what he does. However, he can't undo what she did to me when he wasn't there. read more

I came to Dr. Levinson after traditional medicine was not helping me. I was in so much pain with three bulging discs. I could not walk or stand for more than a couple of minutes and was bed ridden most of the time. Dr. Levinson really listened to me and was attentive to my concerns and fears. I have been going to Dr. Levinson for the last three years. A friend referred her to me while I was pregnant and having horrible headaches and back pain. Dr. Levinson has been consistent in showing care, empathy, and genuine concern for me and my family. She has adjusted my entire family from my babies to my husband. From a recommendation of a friend, I scheduled an initial appointment four weeks ago. Dr. Levinson and her staff have been amazing since I started getting treatment there. I have chronic spine issues and they were excellent about taking on my treatment. In addition, they have been very meticulous about keeping their staff and patients safe during COVID-19. Dr. Helene Levinson is perhaps the most professional, kind, and not to mention proficient chiropractor I have ever encountered. Dr. Gavin is AMAZING! I really can't say enough! I came to Levinson Family Chiropractic after a friend suggested I see Dr. Gavin for my frequent back and hip pain. The pain was so intense that when I met with Dr. G I was in tears! Dr. Gavin takes the time to really sit down with you and diagnose what your issues are, and explains things in detail so you understand why the pain is occurring and how chiropractic care will help. Amazing!! I have been seeing Dr. Levinson for 3 years and never once had a complaint. Since college, I had problems on and off with a herniated disc. While at work, it decided to rear it's nasty head again. I was in excruciating pain, and the CEO of my company referred me to Dr. Levinson. At the onset of my injury, I went in for scheduled appointments every day/every other day for a few weeks. Now I go routinely 2x/month for maintenance. I sleep better, have less headaches, and most importantly- quality spinal health. She also provided me with a variety of stretches and beneficial exercises to assist my day to day needs. Chiropractic care is wonderful and much better for you than taking tons of pain meds. Think of chiropractic care like a multi-vitamin. You take multi-vitamins to sustain your body and keep you healthy. Visiting the chiropractor regularly will keep your body aligned and provide vitality for each day. I have referred numerous friends to Dr. Levinson over the years, and all had terrific experiences. The rest of the staff is always helpful and very friendly. I have been seen by other doctors in the practice, yet I keep asking to only see Dr. Levinson. She knows exactly what to do without me asking. The massage therapist is incredible and affordable (highly recommend!). The receptionist, Gail, will send you an email reminder on the morning of your appointment and always greet you with a warm smile when you arrive. If you are like me, the email reminder is a God-send! I have been through job changes and different insurance companies with Dr. Levinson and never had a problem there either.
