Great venue with a few areas for improvement. 1. Bag searches are fast but no choke point to scan tix. I walked in, presumably for free. It wasn't really clear who was doing that task. 2. During 2 concerts this season the beverage on the east side was all the way to the back fence. The only other beverage station was about the same. The venue is great and the sound system's very good. It was a nice place to watch a show, but not equipped for a bigger concert. The port o potties were filthy and waste was almost reaching the top. No toilet paper in any of them. No running water to properly wash your hands after being grossed out by the filth. 3 separate super long lines led you to the same place so people were running and pushing to get to the open stall like it was the hunger games of potty break. What a horribly designed music venue. While the views, setting and stage is nice everything else is horribly thought out. Sound is crap, there is a dramatic shortage of bathrooms, 30+min lines, and security took longer and was more intrusive then TSA. Really disappointed. read more

Flew in from Atlanta to see 311. Had no concern about the venue, because -Hey its Denver, and shit is always cool here! The sound system at the venue was garbage- not sure how to make it any more clear. I've worked in live entertainment for 15 years, and it looks like they bought a used ray system and did a shit job tuning it. Finally, and what I thought was an amazing idea, was to have 4 beer service tables for 10k people! The beer line was about 45-50 minutes before and during the show. I would whine the venue left at least 20k in profits on the table. So who ever is in charge of the spot, needs to be replaced with someone who knows how to run a venue. A true operator could make that location really cool. read more

Really nice, spacious outdoor music venue. They host a lot of free shows in the summer. Acts are talented and varied in genre to appeal to the masses. It's newer, and they continue to make improvements. The food trucks are a neat touch. read more

I'm a bit mixed about how I feel about this place. I love the idea of a venue offering free concerts and trying to bring community members together. The concept is great but the execution sucks! First off, let me advise anyone going to NOT upgrade your tickets to VIP because it is a total rip off. VIP ticket holders get in early, they have a special seating area for them, you get a meet a greet and 2 drink tickets. The people that run this place have no clue whatsoever about how to run a VIP section. First off, the VIP section sits directly in the sun. There is not a sliver of shade in the area whatsoever. So for those attending the concert for FREE, there are shady areas for those folks, BUT those that actually PAY MONEY to see a show will have to sit in the boiling hot sun. They do offer comfy chairs to sit in but your view is obstructed by the railing around the pathetic VIP area. During the show we attended when temps were close to 100, they finally put up 2 very flimsy tents that only offered shade in the back of the VIP section where there are no chairs AND the shade it offered was extremely limited because of the position of the sun. However once the winds picked up, those tents were of no use because the wind destroyed them. So much for the postal size area of shade. We got NO meet and greet and when we arrived early, they had nothing set up - they have a children's area for face painting and other things, but it was not ready. If you let VIP in early, the place needs to be ready for VIP - including the children's area. Further, the drink and food selection sucks so go out to eat and drink beforehand or pack your own food and drink. I desperately want this place to be awesome, but some very key elements are executed very poorly. If they are improved upon, this will be great and I'm looking forward to changing my rating! I'd say the crowd was about 1/4-1/3 capacity for the show I attended, so I can only imagine how dreadful it would be with more people. Parking wasn't absolutely terrible, but we got there about when the concert was beginning, so had we waited any longer to arrive it would have gotten worse and worse. With more people it could get disastrous. Porta-potties? For a brand new venue that has a substantial building which certainly could have contained bathrooms? And there weren't very many of them. Not bad if you were very strategic about your visits, but I definitely also saw some lines. Again, had there been more people, good luck! Beer lines were atrocious. Incredibly long for the ENTIRE show. I opted out of having beer because I didn't want to stand in line for an hour... and I really wanted a beer. It's a concert! Come on! And you're making 8000% profit on it - don't you want to sell more?? And lastly, if you're going to allow factory sealed water bottles to be brought in, don't take the cap away upon entry! What am I supposed to do with a water bottle I can't close? Was forced to drink it right away to avoid spilling it all night... except when I really WANTED water was at the end, and I had none left. And I certainly wasn't going to wait in line to buy some! Also, refillable bottles are allowed, and you're not going to take the cap away on those, so WHY?? I didn't seek out a water fountain, but another review said she couldn't find somewhere to fill it. I'd certainly opt for that next time, as long as there's water available. read more

What a disappointment with so much potential. Beautiful venue space, with lots of room for people to spread out, dance, do their own thing. It was a cool night and I was amazed that they had managed to not have a mud problem after having so much rain. We showed up only to see 3-11, and upon entering the gate was faced with what I can only describe as CHAOS. MASSIVE MASSIVE lines for the drink stand and bathrooms. I was unfortunate enough to both need to pee really really bad and was DYING for a drink of water because of our long hike from our car. People in the lines were complaining and from the sound of it, things were going pretty slowly. Once 3-11 started and the bathroom lines died we used the facilities at the top of the hill. I didn't see ANY place to fill my water and was DYING of thirst. In a panic I asked the lady at the beer tent if they still had water for sale. She said they did. My husband and I proceeded to wait in one of the 6(?) lines as song after song went by. We INCHED along in that line for an HOUR. By the time we were getting closer, we could see the tent was a ZOO. Kegs were exploding due to being shaken up, and 3 people ahead of us, they announce that they ran out of beer ( after standing there for an HOUR?) Well, I still needed my water....nope. By the time we got there, water was sold out. I could cry. My option was to go to the bottom of the hill and stand in line for another hour? F-ing ridiculous. Missed most of the concert. It was also irritating to see all the people who were able to camp out and get a free show on the other side of the fence. We would have been so much better off doing that! We could have brought our own WATER and not spent 100$ for a disastrous night out. Ways to improve: - all venders should be BEHIND the crowd and show (up top on the hill). It was annoying and difficult to see the stage with all the lighting going on to the right. -water refill stations!!! -12$ for dos XX? ...really? - figure out a better alcohol system, geez- Louise!! -NEVER run out of water!!! I really hope you guys realize how dangerous and negligent that is on your behalf. -improved sound quality. On a side note, it was nice not having to deal with a lot of drunk belligerent people (maybe that's why they were so screwy with the drink tents...they were trying to control how drunk and out of control people got)? read more

Not my choice for a good concert venue. Parking is horrific. If you come in from the top the hill is crazy and has holes that you can twist your ankle. The sound was not good at all. The worst thing about this place was the beer and food lines. Completely out of control anywhere from 50 to 75 people deep. I probely will not go to this venue again. read more

Worst place for women to go to the bathroom no liquor halfway through the concert just a logistical mess. No way to see a concert

This venue has absolutely no parking.. but they have plenty of green grass that would make great parking! Sell tickets you have parking to accommodate -- not be so greedy that people have to try to find somewhere to park without any direction at all! This won't be a repeat venue. read more

Came for one of the free shows, and with rain and a Broncos game the turnout was pretty low. Maybe that's why I thought it was great compared to the folks who came for 3-11. With that acknowledgement, the music sounded great, staff were friendly, beer and food were easy, and there was an awesome kids area for my toddler to run around. I'll be back. read more

Went to see Rob Thomas Monday night. It was my first time at this venue. We arrived early because we bought lawn seats. For us the parking was perfect...I'd hate to see what it would have been if we had arrived later. After the concert, we saw people walking all the way out of the park to get to their cars. I wouldn't want to do that. The food trucks were reasonably priced for the most part and water was $3 a bottle; high, but not as bad as other venues. The absolute worst, and the reason for the three star rating, was the bathroom situation. Absolutely a crime for the women's restroom to have 6 stalls for several thousand people! Women started lining up for the men's restroom because the women's line was so long. That bothered several men, too bad. Levitt pavilion needs to expand the women's restroom by at least 5 times. There will still be lines but I missed 5 songs from the concert due to the wait. Totally unacceptable! The concert set up was ok, the sound was good and I liked the fact they had a large screen on one side of the stage. Overall, I enjoyed the concert but having to arrive 2 1/2 hours before the gates were even open makes for a really long night. read more

Never Again! Should be enjoying the Rob Thomas concert at this very moment but instead I'm at home writing a review. First time attempting to go to the pavilion. Upon our arrival all lots were full, at least to certain cars. Some cars were let in and others were waived away. I was waived away on both sides of the venue. A vehicle right in front of me was allowed in. Maybe those cars had handicap parking permits. After 40 minutes of driving up and down residential streets and finding no place to park we turned around and came home. The best I could do was park in front of someone's house on the street and walk 1.4 miles to the venue. Wasn't worth it to me. Even with a short walk I wouldn't have enjoyed myself due to worrying the entire time that I was either getting a parking ticket or my car was towed. Lesson learned. If you are going to Levitt I recommend you get there at least an hour and a half before the show. Or better yet, don't waste your time going at all. read more
