See the pictures, they already charge me for floor removal(vinyl and laminate) And leveling and prepping. Reason they want to upcharge me. 1) Coz its laminate under the vinyl we have to charge you more. 2)we can only remove some portion of it coz it so difficult to remove and have to level it so we have to charge you more( they already charge for leveling see picture below) 3) you are asking for underpayment we have to charge you more. (already charged me prepping) 4) this job is too small we have to charge you more. Literally finding reason to charge me more and blaming me more upcharge. For floor popping. It started next day after installation and I saw it and hoping it won't get worse but it got worse the day after started falling apart. Now everywhere I walk I hear pop and falling apart and it's just been 2 days. and I know they will blame me coz I ask for underpayment but during installation, I heard other guys ask to Brandon about removing this... point to floor (debris and uneven things sticking on floor) and he said no.. she want underpayment so they don't have to prep or even out the floor and make it free from debris coz they were not going to warranty flooring so its ok to bad job. And I know they will blame the customer if flooring breaks. I saw that in previous one star review. While removing flooring, they were so aggressive literally broke one of my cabinet and wall in the kitchen closet.( see the picture) Rip the carpet and flooring in the closet and living room. Pipe in the kitchen broke, dishwasher stop working. I had to call plumber to fix it. Such sloppy job, left portion of previous flooring under cabinet and try to hide it with hanging baseboard. For the money I put in, I was surely expecting better quality than this. Spending thousands of dollars for flooring and installation down the drain. I never dealt with such dishonest bunch of people in my life. I would give them negative rating. Just horrible. If you love your house don't hire them.

He was a down to earth, easy to talk to guy who walked me through carpet and padding selection. Gene gave me a guesstimate on the price but finalized the price when he came to measure the bedroom. Final price was almost identical. The installation price included moving furniture, removing and taking the old carpet and padding, installation and cleanup. Gene was on time, professional, and assured me that the installers were CERTIFIED installers. Lucky for me, there was a cancellation which allowed an earlier installation date. The installers, Adam and Daniel, arrived on time, got to work as soon as they arrived and laid the carpet to perfection....including a tricky installation in my closet that had built in closet storage. My bedroom and area outside the bedroom was left spotless! I highly recommend this local family business. Their prices were right on target, the people were a pleasure to work with, scheduling installation was easy, and my new carpeted bedroom looks awesome. Victor came out for the estimate and pointed things out that I never would've thought of. When I told him I was looking to save money by doing as much work as I could myself, he told me what would reduce costs (like removing carpet and as much furniture on my own as I could) and what splurges might not be worth it (matching laminate quarter-round and replacing my trim - I could just re-paint it). After choosing this company for the job, Victor answered additional questions and was very accommodating with scheduling the install. His brother and one other man came right on time yesterday to install. They were efficient (finished in about 5 hours and never took a break!), professional, and friendly. When finished, they asked to make sure things were cleaned up enough for us. They called Victor for me before leaving to ensure I was ok with the price of the job (which was right in line with the estimate given previously), and so I could ask him any questions. If it were possible to give a negative rating, we would. (Maybe Yelp should introduce negative numbers. Noor Flooring would earn a -10.) Over a month ago, we went into contract with Noor Flooring to install hardwood floors in three bedrooms, a hallway, and a walk-in closet in our recently-purchased home. Varga came to our home, measured for the job and then gave us a price for the job, to which we agreed and after which we paid him a deposit, based on a written estimate. He then ordered the wood, delivered the wood to our home so that it could acclimate for four to five days, and started the work (after a one-day delay, which went unexplained). The morning of the second day that the work was to continue, Varga sent us an email saying that he had underestimated the cost of the job and would not be able to continue it. Yes, an email backing out of work that they had already begun! After bailing out on our job, at no point did Varga call us directly, apologize, try to explain the nature of the error, or suggest any other remedy. Any contractor worth his salt would not have made a basic calculation error in the first place (or might have discovered it sometime during the six weeks between the initial bid and when work commenced). But, ok, we're all human and make mistakes. However, a more ethical person would have been clearer about more specific about what the error was and proposed a way forward that would have preserved the working relationship and ensured that the contracted work was completed, given that he had started the work already. Varga's behavior during this period underscores his core unprofessionalism. He has yet to call us. He has yet to agree to refund our deposit. He has failed to respond to various emails in anything but a cursory manner. So we are left with rugs and subfloors fully or partially ripped up from rooms in our home, rendering those rooms completely unusable. We are unable to fully unpack and our home is in chaos - thanks to Noor Flooring. The situation is irreparable at this point. We would not ever let Varga or his Noor Flooring crew back into our house for any reason whatsoever and are seeking legal action against his firm. They are simply not to be trusted. Consumer beware - run in the other direction should anyone ever recommend Noor Flooring.
