This place was a cute little place to go. They seemed to go for a Starbucks Restaurant mix but there was no direction on what to do. There were server like people but they barely checked the tables and you didn't order from a table, you had to go to the front to make your order like you do at Starbucks. Food was most definitely good and I do recommend this place for that aspect. I would have given a 5 but the service was sub par. It's either a restaurant or a "self serve" like Starbucks. I REALLY wanted to like it. The shop itself is so cute, quiet, clean and aesthetically pleasing. The patio was also very inviting. The windows, floors, coffee machines, counters, etc were IMMACULATE. That's where the good ends. I wanted to order breakfast for my small staff since we were short-handed. I got their orders and called the number on the website. A woman answered, "Hello?" and I got flustered, thinking I had the wrong number. Before I could ask, she hung up. I checked the number and called two more times. Each time, the phone was picked up but no one said anything, then was immediately disconnected. So I decided to just go and order in person. The staff there was very nice. I asked about the phone and they said they were having issues where they couldn't hear anyone but they think it's fixed now. Even though that was all frustrating, that is not the cause of the low stars. Even though the order was large-ish (5 orders), it came out fairly quickly. I enjoyed waiting in the shop, taking in the ambiance and looking out of the large picture window. Once it was ready, they bagged it, brought it to me and said thank you. Nothing over the top. We had ordered a couple versions of the scones, an english muffin sandwich, the waffle and an avocado toast. Everyone's bread, across the board, was DRY. I had the 411 which is supposed to be enjoyed as a sandwich, but I upgraded to gravy. I took a bite without the gravy and there is no way I would have been able to choke down that sandwich without significant sauce. The toast's crust that the avocado came on was very hard and broke the fork and knife used to cut it. The english muffin was also reported to be very dry. To me, the scones tasted like Jiffy corn muffins with seasonings thrown in. They were sweet, dense and hard. The gravy was also sweet and there was oil separating from it. The potato cakes are so thin and crispy that you can't cut it with plasticware. However, the seasoning was good on it. The waffle was reported to be good; fluffy with crispy edges. The menu for the 411 sandwich said "premium pork sausage patty". I don't mind my patties coming pre-made, but the patty was smooth on the inside, being pressed from manufacturing, and it contained a bit of gristle. I hope we just went on an off day, and wish nothing but the best for this cute little place, but I probably would not go again. read more

As it being a newer small restaurant in Norman we gave it a try. like other reviews you order at the counter get your own silverware salt pepper etc. The place was busy as they cater to the younger crowd that likes the 6 to 7 dollar iced coffee drinks not us. we both ordered 11 to 13 dollar breakfasts they were good but for the price next time we will go to the Diner downtown, Winston etc. where you actually get service for the prices here which are overpriced in the wife's and my opinion read more

My friend and I decided to try this cute, hole in the wall, breakfast/brunch place. Overall the atmosphere is cozy and we went around 10 and it was getting busy. Their menu wasn't too overwhelming, but had enough options to choose from. The food was amazing and the coffee was delicious. I wish they brought your coffee to your table- they call it out but when it's super busy it is hard to hear and if you're a first time customer it would've been nice to know. They have stations where you grab your own utensils, salt and pepper, napkins, etc. if you order a water, they also have a giant dispenser you serve yourself at. I think it would've made it a nicer experience to have that brought to your table since it can get crowded easily in that small of space. I've never had a scone biscuit sandwich before! I har it with the MJ latte which has salted Carmel in it. Also got to meet the owners and they were very friendly. Matt was really great to talk to. At this time Levity is at a 3/5. Here the problem: when it's busy- it's busy, we ordered food, had coffees already in hand and we were waiting for people to get up to get a table. Not having service like refills on drip coffee, no salt and pepper at the table, no explanation when ordering on having to grab your own forks/knives is a bit frustrating for a first time experience. Not having wait staff disconnects me from the whole experience when it cost my husband and I nearly $50 for us to eat brunch this morning. The portions are small, outside of American culture however they could be considered the perfect size. Ordering $12 avocado toast I expected there to be two pieces, just for the sake of the price but there was only one. The food was okay, nothing I couldn't make at my own home (as in there is nothing really that unique). People behind the counter are exceptionally kind, very good at explaining the menu, like what is popular, but I'm just a bit disappointed and most likely won't be back due to the wait for a table while awkwardly standing around (along with other patrons) and the price for the food without there being very much you're getting. I think there could be improvement, and I hope there is! read more

The iced chai was mid, Avery says to get something else. The servers were nice and seemed like they enjoyed being there. I was headed to another place for lunch when I saw the signs for Levity out in front of the restaurant by the street. Being a lover of all things breakfast, I was instantly intrigued. Their menu is fairly small, but boy oh boy it ALL sounded amazing! I wound up ordering a cappuccino (stellar!) and The Mr. Burns breakfast sandwich at their service counter on the recommendation of the folks taking orders. The Mr Burns was so freaking good! Spicy with pickled jalapeños and pickled onions, rich with tasty sausage and TWO creamy over medium/hard fried eggs on a fresh buttery toasted sourdough. I could only taste the potato pancake after eating all that, but the bite I had was good - very hash brown like. I sat outside on their patio with some very friendly people, and we all compared our amazing meals and drinks. I will definitely be back and will be bringing friends! read more

Had the Stay Classy Norman sandwich, which is one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've ever had. Staff is super friendly and food came out quickly especially considering how busy they were. Menu has a good variety of items while staying focused & not overwhelming you with too many options. The inside is really cool, and you can tell they took the time to repurpose some of the original historical building while adding some modern design elements. We will definitely be back for more visits and are excited to see what the future holds for this spot. read more

Adorable and quaint little spot. Super friendly staff. Very reasonable prices. Got the 411 breakfast sandwich and it is easily the best breakfast sandwich in town! Omg the cheddar chive scone was incredible. I don't usually like scones but this one was light, rich, and savory. The chèvre and apricot jam on the sandwich really set it off. Their sausage patty tasted homemade. I'll be thinking about this sandwich all week! My family is making this a regular breakfast spot. Oh also the iced coffee was perfect! Extremely inconsiderate due to them taking your money and leaving you to fend for yourself. o There is nothing special or particularly tasty about their menu to constitute it being as expensive as it is. o Their sauces are bland and jalapeño's too mild in my opinion. I love this place. I am a coffee person and this is great coffee! Menu options are not overwhelming, scones are GREAT. The people here are super kind and friendly, and they make me feel like a regular. I absolutely love the ambiance and feel of this place--they did great a renovation. We've managed to bring our whole family here (2 adults, 2 kids, 1 baby) and fit comfortably, but when they're busy, they are busy (which is great! I want them to be busy). My new favorite brunch spot! I discovered this place through their coffees at Price college. Before trying them, I didn't like scones. I LOVE their scones. They never miss the mark, all of their flavors are DELICIOUS! Today we tried the Scones and Gravy 10/10! And Mr.Burns 9/10! We also had to grab some coffee and a sweet scone. The service is friendly and helpful, the owner even served us our food and told us a funny story. Cute little house, only thing is we wished they had stronger A/C. Love love love! Such a cute place. Every one was really nice. Cappuccino and chai latte were delicious and hot. I had the 411 sandwich and it's amazing. It does not have a weird sauce. Chèvre cheese and apricot jam go perfectly with the cloud like egg, sausage, and the soft scone. It is a perfect sandwich and can't wait to have it again! The gravy on the scones was also so good I could add another cup to dump on it. The food is delicious and a little different for palettes that are only used to Braums or jimmys egg breakfast. It's nice to have a fun menu around that serves us fun crafted dishes. For being busy and a new place we did wait a little bit for the table. The owner quickly bussed it and he is super nice! Welcomed us in. Didn't wait long for our food. We are super excited to come back! Ignore the 1 star review. Food was okay but not worth the price. $12 for a sandwich with a smooshed hash brown dish on the side? I was expecting more flavor. Service was fine but you clean your own tables and get your own silverware/ketchup/napkin/etc and the tablet when you order at the counter asks for a tip (I guess for saying hi when you walk in?). We spent a couple of hours in Norman and decided to get breakfast somewhere new. This place showed up, and it was unexpectedly awesome! I ordered the porridge and blueberry matcha from the counter, took a seat and waited for maybe 5-10 minutes before the food came out. I wish I would have taken a picture because my bowl was so pretty, loaded with apricots and a blueberry compote! So good!! One of the owners even came out and greeted us which was a nice touch. When we were finishing up, the other owner came up to us and started a conversation about why they opened Levity and a bit about his journey from Portland to Norman. It was such a nice, human experience that was much needed and unexpected. If you ever find yourself in Norman, I highly recommend coming here not only for the food, but for the great, third-place vibes. read more
