From the…read morefirst minute I spoke with the staff over the phone to schedule my consultation to when I left my post-extraction follow up, I had nothing but positive interactions with everyone at the office. During my consult, Dr. Awalt determined I needed all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed, 2 of which were impacted. She fully explained the risks and the expected procedure/recovery timeline. While the concept of oral surgery is scary, Dr. Awalt made me feel comfortable and confident that I was in good hands to receive the best treatment possible. The cost was fully explained to me beforehand. Day of, I simply arrived and the procedure began minutes later without a hitch. Both Dr. Awalt and the nurse calmed my nerves and made me feel at ease. Later that night, Dr. Awalt called to check in and make sure I had her personal number in case I needed anything. Recovery was as smooth as could be and I really felt minimal to no pain (I have a low pain tolerance!) when I followed all of my given instructions. I hope I never need another procedure, but if I do or if I had to recommend an oral surgeon to anyone, I would without hesitation think of Dr. Awalt! Thank you to the whole team!

I had to try on the denture in the waiting room, which felt inappropriate, and it didn't fit right. They tried an adjustment and it made it worse. ​They rushed that procedure as well, and almost pushed me out of the door. Now, I can't wear the denture at all because it hurts too much, and I have to find another dentist. Also, payment was requested in a pushy and unpleasant way. ​ Overall, I do not feel this office provided the level of care and professionalism that I expected.

Having severe dental anxiety and finding out you need to have your wisdom teeth out is never fun. I did have to schedule my appointment 5 separate times to get my teeth out. I had to cancel the first 4 because I was too afraid but the staff was very understanding each time and gave me the same support and took their time with me each time I came in. Everyone was kind and well informed. I felt like a priority and was treated like one. I ended up getting my teeth out on my 5th appointment and had a great experience. Dr Schwartz was the doctor that took out all 4 of my teeth. Natasha in post op was very kind and took fantastic care of me. Two days later I woke up in excruciating pain as my body was far more sensitive than usual in recovery. I called multiple times to ask questions and was helped promptly each time. That same day I was fit in for an appointment an hour after my call. One of the doctors even offered me a personal unopened water bottle as I was sensitive to tap water. I was given more pain medication which helped but made me sick. I called and was immediately given something to help with my nausea. The doctors and nurses at this practice really care about their patients and making sure they have the best experience possible when dealing with something that nobody really wants to deal with. I would 100% go here if I had to do it all over again. I was welcomed and informed and encouraged to call even if it was a slight concern, they wanted to make sure everything was okay. If you are someone with severe dental anxiety, this is the place to go. They can accommodate you and make this the experience that gets rid of the anxiety associated with dentists or surgery in general.

As an RN of 20 ++ years I have always been sure to leave my patients with a feeling of security yet give them the true empathy they deserve and at Dental One Associates in Fredericksburg VA I experienced just that with Dr Christopher Beiner and his staff. My visit occurred at the end of the day after I left my office in the Burg. I was greeted with friendly calming ladies at the front desk and shown where the waiting area was while I filled out my new patient forms briefly. After only a few minutes of being shown to the waiting area, my name was called by my dental assistant/hygienist who graciously introduced herself and escorted me to my dental chair. After moments of sitting down Dr Beiner walked in and sat down beside me to introduce himself and chat a little before we discussed the reason for my visit in further detail. His calming affect and expertise were just a few of his most favored assets, but bottom line he was amazing all the way around The absolute best part was that he fixed my problem same day which was my cavity. In all my years as a patient and professional, I have never had or seen such excellent service and this meant the world to me. Dr Beiner and Staff, I would love to extend my appreciation for the experience I had in your office .
