Not true, as I just got my card and she was a practitioner that was available and placed on my card. I told her it's not my responsibility to check this and to pass the message along. I've gone to pick up prescriptions several times where the office had not contacted insurance for prior authorization therefor I could not pick up the prescriptions. I also went to schedule an echocardiogram that I had received a referal for and same issue Dr.'s office had never gotten insurance authorization so I could not make an appointment. Most recently I called about something else and they said they had tried to contact me but my VM was full so they weren't able to give me information that I really needed. Save yourself and lot of time and hassle, and do not go here. Really awful experience.

As Dr. Hoddinott had good reviews, I gave her office a call telling them that both my wife and I (40ish,very healthy, great insurance) are looking for a new doctor. I was told by the receptionist (this was 16 days ago) that the doctor would review our request and I would hear back from them the next day. I didn't. So I call back and another person tells me that "it can take several days for the doctor to make a determination about a new patient. She has lots of things on her desk". At this point I already have a bad feeling about the doctor and her staff if it takes them several days to get back to a new patient. But I thought I would perhaps get a call after a week. Nope.. Two Weeks? Uh-uh. It's not two weeks plus and no call-back. The doctor might be wonderful with patients. Unfortunately, for me the process of getting in to see her was a major turnoff. Doctor Hoddinott, work with your staff on a much better process for people who WANT to give you business. I am still looking for that elusive general physician!
