They are both past those health issues and now open week ends again. DuPont is a small circle of a town that seems to basically be all military. There is a lot more than military now in the town though with Intel, State Farm, and the new Amazon distribution warehouse. It just doesn't seem as there is much room for DuPont to grow since all the land around it seems to be owned by the military. I wish it had more restaurants or maybe even a real grocery store and not the general store downtown. I guess most people shop on the base or Lacey/Lakewood. Maybe just having enough to barely keep you busy is how the people of DuPont like it. I do love that I can go through DuPont to get to Steilacoom, University Place, Lakewood, and elsewhere to try to avoid I-5. I just wish there was an entrance into DuPont from Mounts Rd as traffic can be weird in the morning with the truck station and people exiting to go to the base.
