Great company to work with. Very fast with the paperwork! Reasonably priced compared to other companies.

When I went, I asked one lady if she knew where her coworker went? She said, probably on a break and I asked how long is a break? She responded but looked annoyed that I even asked her. While I was waiting, I had no idea if she just went on break, so I asked another lady if she knew how long ago that she left because I wanted to go to the bathroom and didn't want to come back and have someone else take my place while I went to the bathroom. The lady I asked was rude. She said that other lady answered my question. In my head I said , no she didnt? This is a new question. But everytime I tried to ask her she cut me off and kept telling me to go sit down and wait . She looked upset that I even bothered her while she was talking to her other coworker and looked very annoyed . Terrible customer service. The lady that helped me that I had to come back to, was such a good hearted women! She went above and beyond for me to get me the help that I needed. After explaining what that other co worker said, I was told, thats her supervisor! Really! She should be written up for having an attitude and being a rude person. I know you all see a lot of people, but you choose to be in a business for customer service, yet most of you treat people like their stupid and treat them rudely. Imagine this kind of treatment was done to you or your Mother, Father, daughter or son. Maybe your Grandmother. How would you feel! Shame on you who treat people rudely. Why don't you all quit and get other jobs where you're not an A-hole to us people who need help? I pray you turn your anger or attitudes around and really help people who are there to get help.

Some of the employees have a rude way of speaking and a poor attitude toward people, and they just want to rush them through without listening to them. Please, this behavior is an unattractive representation of the city! Most -- not all -- of the employees at this DMV need sensitivity training! They forget that YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT PEOPLE ARE GOING THROUGH WHEN THEY COME IN. YOU DON'T KNOW IF THEY ARE FEELING SICK OR WELL, STRESSED OUT OR OVERWHELMED, GRIEVING, ETC., SO EXTRA PATIENCE, KINDNESS, AND POLITENESS IS A MUST! I shake my head .... This is why I prefer going to the Torrance branch even though it is a 20+ minute drive if there's no traffic! The Torrance branch has very good customer service! The good parts about my visit: in the beginning, the system mostly flowed to get customer's needs taken care of. Near the end, it got a little confusing as to where to go next after taking your picture, to get your provisional license. Some of the employees were polite and patient and explained things better than others, and I am grateful to them. Thank God for the few employees who are the light shining in darkness! I'm going to go back to this DMV just to find the QR code where you can share your concerns. I hope someone will listen and make a positive change over there!

Decent experience, great for a DMV. I just wish they had signs that told the public what a DMV…read moreagent told the confused crowd waiting at the front at eight-minute increments. Let me break it down for you: When you enter: - If you have a behind the wheel test appointment, you are to wait in line to the left. The agent that works at Window 1 will call out last names and aid you, from what I saw. - If you do not have an appointment and are there for another service, you must go to the front of the "Information" area and scan a QRC on a printed half-sheet of paper. This will take you to the application completion form online and you can "check in" that way, from what I gather. *Please note this is based on instruction I heard.* -If you DO have an appointment, which I recommend, you can go sit in the waiting area beyond the information desk and you should receive a text with a ticket number about ten minutes before your appointment time. If you don't receive a text, I'd wait about ten minutes after your appointment time in case they are running behind, then you can go back and politely tell the agent that addresses the waiting crowd at the front to check. They will likely ask your name and manually send you a text then with a ticket number. From then on, it's just a waiting game. I was helped today by Eugene M., who was pleasant, funny and professional. He made an anxiety-ridden morning a bit more bearable. The line for the camera was a bit long, but I mean, it's the DMV. You can expect to be there a little while. Overall a decent experience to renew my license. I'd come here again. But PLEASE GET SOME CLEAR SIGNAGE!!!!

From the beginning, she came across as dismissive and made me feel as though I was bothering her simply by being there for my scheduled appointment. There was very little eye contact or basic customer-service engagement. At one point, she left her desk to get paper for the printer and was gone for about five minutes without any explanation. What made the experience more frustrating was seeing her laughing and being very friendly with another employee while being noticeably cold and disengaged with me. I understand that DMV employees deal with a high volume of people every day, but basic courtesy, professionalism, and acknowledgment go a long way. I completed what I came there to do, but the customer service during my appointment definitely could have been better.

I HATE going to the DMV, and Culver City is the absolute freaking worst. Most the staff is rude and…read morehateful for absolutely no reason. I went to get my drivers license changed to real ID. 7am, we are second in line and waited an HOUR, but everyone behind me was at a window before I could even scan the code that I didn't know I needed to scan. So it doesn't matter what time you arrive, only how quick you are able to scan and get all the BS typed into your phone. If you are a bit older, or bad at tech...too bad. The younger lady at the door helping people was nice, so I had high hopes for the day. That didn't last long. I get called to the window. I say good morning sweetly. I try to explain to the woman that I wanted to upload my documents the night before, and tried to on different browsers, but their website wasn't working. She was immediately abrasive and wanted to know why I was at her window without filling out a specific form. I again explain it's because the website wouldn't let me. She acted like how dare I have the audacity to stand in her presence without it. She tells me to go to the computers across the room and fill it out. I say ok and start to leave. She doesn't even attempt to say anything else until I am 2 steps away, where she literally YELLS at me "YOU STILL AREN'T LISTENING TO ME!!" Loud enough for everyone (including my kid who was at a window next to me) to hear. She starts telling me how she will curb my number and I can come back to her window. I was having back pain at that point, and she literally made me cry out of embarrassment and pain. The employee at the computers also wasn't very nice and offered no assistance as I stood at the computer crying and trying to figure it out. When I go back and start to approach her window, she gets up and leaves without a word, and doesn't return for several minutes. I ask my kid to go scan my phone and get a new number because I have no idea if she is coming back, and I can't deal with her any more. There was another issue at the next window (my fault, I bring a thousand documents but forgot my marriage license) But also dumb because its the same name on my driver's license, I needed my marriage license to get a driver's license, but they don't trust their own documents I guess. Long story longer, husband brings marriage license. I get in line again. This time I get the kindest, sweetest elderly woman. She was so patient and so kind, and I know she wants to give up, but works through every issue. Problem 1: My DL doesn't expire for a month. No where on their site does it say you have to wait for expiration to change it over to real ID license. 2: I paid online and took a refresher course the night before to get the real id. But none of it is attached to my account. She had to jump through hoops to find this information so I didn't have to pay again, and take a test the test again. Even though I had a printout of payment, she needed a confirmation number, that I luckily found after she asked me to check my saved messages. She was an absolute angel and saved the day. Even after I left the window she was calling out and directing me while I waited in line for a picture. We were there at opening Tuesday morning and got very lucky that day. Even though I had to go to the window 3 different times (and wait for my husband to bring me a document at one point) each time was only a few minutes wait.

I did the heavy lifting by coming here ahead of time and logging in the system via the QR code-which enable me to get her in the line or queue and keep her away from the masses of humanity untill it was her time in line! Lol Anyone should know that without an appointment going in, you're looking at 2 hours easy-which isn't too bad, provided your patient or have something else going on in the meantime. The team that assisted us from the security guard at the front entrance to the customer service agent at the initial window to team who handled the pictures were all really professional. All in all a good experience.
