As a patient who…read morenever had a tooth pulled and was scared out of my mind to be put to sleep and the pain afterwards I appreciated all the time they took with me to make me feel comfortable with the procedure. They were extremely kind and caring, explained everything and most importantly answered all my questions no matter how silly. They called me at home and went over everything before the surgery which put my mind at ease. The doctor and nurses were fantastic and I fell asleep quickly, waking up a short time later with everything done. Post op directions were given to me and my husband with paperwork as I was still a little groggy. I was wheeled out to our car and sent on my way with well wishes and instructions to call if needed. I didn't need to call because I followed all their instructions completely but the office did call and checked up on me. If I ever need more oral surgery I will go there again - but I'm hoping I don't have to!

He is a ripoff and his office manager is rude beyond belief! My wife went their for (1) extraction, they wanted over $1,000.00! We said no and they took away her medication prescription and made her pay $120.00 for an xray and exam! We went to another DMD, MD and had the tooth removed for $260.00. This office let my wife suffer in pain and forced her to leave with no medication when she would not agree to their prices! BEWARE of this office!

These people are total scammers!!! I had a crown done in April, 2025 and I paid the amount that was…read moredue from me and my insurance company also paid (after several attempts to get Aspen to send them the detailed explanation). I paid the balance just this year that they told me was due on that bill and I just got billed another $666.70! the bill I just received has absolutely no details, just that I owe them $666.70 with no explanation of why. They also are threatening me on this bill that they will turn this amount over to a collection agency! I am 72 years old and I have never, ever run into such a fraudulent company like this one. I am sending them a certified letter tomorrow requesting a fully detailed invoice with all charges and all payments received for this procedure. I will probably not get any response. As this seems to be their procedure.

I had sedation gum surgery and felt NO pain. There were several follow up appointments and I have to say that from the first visit to the last, I felt like I was well taken care of. The staff is wonderful. The Periodontist was fantastic. I just can't believe that I had dental gum surgery and it never hurt. So, don't delay, call Dr Johnson and meet him and his staff. They will take good care of you!

The people at the front office were very professional, friendly and communicative. I had a vertical fracture that was quite painful. The first dentist I saw nearly sent me through the roof during the initial exam and made me terrified to consider treatment there. I then went to Dr. Darby and that pain free experience was like night and day. I also liked that Dr Darby was very thorough and spent time explaining the issues, discussing my options and making sure I felt completely comfortable. My husband and I spend most of the year in California but if I need any other dental procedure like the one I had, I'll be back in Ocala to see Dr. Darby.
