Not sure they'd let you use theirs anyway. There is no parking lot. The YMCA lot doesn't allow for park parking. You have to park on the street. There is usually close parking available. There is no shade. It gets really hot during the summer. All in all, I like the park for its age range. I wish there was a bathroom. We've had to leave early a bunch of times because we need a bathroom.

The restrooms were out of order but there was a portapotty near the boat docks. There is ripped of swimming but no lifeguards. They do have a spot where life jackets can be borrowed. The playground was amazing! Lots to interact with. Very very high though and not for little kids younger than 4. Lots of picnic tables near the waters edge. You need to pay entry for parking.

The whole staff was friendly and helpful. They carried things up to the party room and helped set things up to our specifications. They asked how they could help without being overbearing and they also handled the pizza delivery and put it in the warmer for us up in the party room. Our friends that joined us loved all the fun activities and bubble machine. When it was time to go, they helped with take down and bringing things to the car without making us feel rushed out. We hope to host another party here again soon!

I guess it could be a sight for sore eyes... but you learn to love it. So, for many years it use to be just the wharf and nothing much else. To my surprise, the City of Edmonds spiffied this place up and added some nice grass, lookout point and a playground for the kids. It's definitely not something I'd travel long and far for... but it's a great local park to check it. Learn some history while you're at it.. I know I have. It's great if you live close; there are picnic areas and the kids can run around! :)

Still, it's probably enough for the littlest kids or someone who just wants to get away and enjoy a decent view.
