It's pretty easy to find and is probably one of the nicer looking restaurants around in Newquay. The staff are really friendly and professional - our waiter offered to take our picture, and was generally a very nice man. We didn't have a starter, but for mains we had a sort of seafood soup, which seemed pretty good value for money, considering the amount of seafood it contained (various types of fish, three large tiger prawns, some smaller prawns, mussels, cockles and two crab claws) - it's messy, but the staff are prepared and put out all the various utensils required, including a finger bowl and antibacterial gel! (That's a first for me...!) Hubby had the steak and scallops - these are some of the freshest, sweetest scallops I've ever had. Views from the restaurant are beautiful and when the weather is nice you can chill out with drinks on the large terrace or have a great meal. The lodge is great just a chill out and have drinks if you don't want to eat but I'd recommend you do try the food. The food is brilliant from both the lunch and dinner menu. Newly open is the guest rooms so if you want to stay in the hotel you will get to enjoy the views even longer over looking the ocean. The food and drink is great value but the rooms are a little pricy but it is in a exclusive location. If you are in the area it is a must.
