I can not recommend this business after my experience here. My first appointment I was waiting so long that even the owner of the my salon suites that she works out of was concerned. She wasn't even in the building and pulled up over 20 mins after my appointment was supposed to start. I was excited to have my brows microbladed so I went through with the appointment. She talked me into getting my eyebrows waxed prior to her appointment because she made it sound like it was a required first step (other artists I spoke to after this said it's actually a bad idea to get them waxed first). this made the process much more painful and it did not seem like the numbing cream did anything to help it. I hated the way that they looked after the wax because she basically removed my natural arch and my eyebrows looked like they were stuck in a scared expression for the next 2 months. I asked for natural hair strokes with microblading only. My hair is ash brown and she used black pigment in thick strokes that look like someone dragged a fork across my eyebrow and also went above my natural eyebrow so it is very obvious and not natural looking at all. That was only on one side so they do not look like they match. On the other side is a huge bare patch. She also did not offer any type of aftercare ointment. I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt since every microblading appointment requires at least 2 sessions, so I planned to bring up my concerns at my touch up appointment. I arrived 15 minutes early at 3:15pm and called as soon as I parked my car to confirm she was there this time. She told me to go ahead and wait in the lobby and she would come get me when she was ready. My appointment was at 3:30pm and I called her again at 3:50 to see if she would still be able to see me or if another appointment was keeping her busy. She did not answer the phone. Once it hit 4pm (and I had been there for 45 minutes) I was about to leave when I saw her walk up to the lobby. She seemed irritated and told me I should have just rang the bell. I told her that when we had spoken earlier I already told her that I was here, early, and ready whenever she was, and that she had said she would let me in when she was ready so I didn't see a point in ringing the bell to notify her twice. She rolled her eyes and instead of apologizing for being late she got an attitude with me about not ringing the bell even though we had just spoken verbally on the phone. She was raising her voice when we got to her suite like "well COME ON then!". I didn't feel comfortable doing the service with her after the way she was acting and I told her that, and was out the door. I was fully prepared to pay her in full with a generous tip but not after that. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. Instead I just booked with another talented artist that I've used for other services, who I should apparently have gone to in the beginning given the terrible results I got here. read more

I appreciated Cielo's flexibility with getting me into the schedule, the receptionist even moved some things around to make it possible. Great customer service there. Unfortunately the rest of the experience wasn't as good. I didn't see anywhere on the website that there wasn't a parking lot, and unfortunately the garage near the spa was closed for no apparent reason so finding parking was difficult. I had to ring the doorbell to get into the spa and someone came to let me in, didn't say hi and just asked me if I had an appointment before they'd let me in. The interior of the reception area was very visibly worn and outdated. It reminded me of the decor of a high end spa from the late 90s or early 00s. They had a sign on the wall saying that the spa had won Best of Delaware in 2004 which is when I think it was likely last updated. I'm not quite sure why but I had to wait about 20 minutes to get started on my services, I mostly just stood at the reception desk awkwardly as she typed away for over 15 minutes. I finally asked if she needed more time and I should sit. At that point she said we could get started. I will say this - the massage was fantastic. That, plus the schedule flexibility, is why this is a 3 star review and not 1 or 2. Again, the ambiance wasn't great - the spa area was also very old and outdated and frankly looked like it needed a good scrub down. There were coffee drips on the wall near my pedicure chair that grossed me out, some towels that looked less than fresh in the nail area and other random bits of grime throughout. Prior to the massage she brought me into a dressing room to put on a robe. I was disappointed to see they didn't have above an XL and only one XL available. Although the XL was comfortable for me I felt like it would've been awkward if I needed a bigger size or if someone had already been using the XL. I know they only had one because l was the only spa customer for the entire 4 hours. It was a bit too quiet and creepy being in the spa area alone to be honest. My pedicure and manicure were both ok but not great. I was really disappointed with the polish choices especially. There were only about 10 gel options and they had zero matching sets for gel/non-gel which is really standard at spas now. I ended up finding two that were similar. The person who did my services was nice enough but not friendly or warm. That combined with the general worn out/outdated/somewhat grimy ambiance kind of ruined the vibe for me a bit. I didn't get that same super relaxing, warm feeling I'm looking for at a spa. I will say the prices are decent. Overall I don't think I'd return given the ambiance of the spa but if you don't care about that, this might be a good place for a massage!

It's hard to tell in the picture but my polish is uneven and sloppy on a couple nails. Also not pictured, my finger was cut in the cuticle process. There was no apology offered just some alcohol put on it and kept moving. The service seemed very rushed. After my hands and feet were done, my friend wanted her eyebrows done. I was watching and noticed the wax tech seemed to be reusing the same stick for the whole service which is not clean. There was also a stick balancing on the side of the wax pot. I can't tell if it had been used or not.
