Please read this BEFORE you decide to use Lexington Plastic Surgery for any procedure!!! I had a consultation in Fall of 2023 for a keloid removal. It's done virtually only by what they call a "consultant or representative of the company". This person is NOT the doctor or nurse doing your procedure. Regardless, I felt comfortable enough with the consultation to proceed with scheduling my keloid because social media and their website will have you thinking they are the best. During the consultation they stated the procedure has a 95% rate of the keloid not returning due to their "methods" of aftercare such as laser treatments and steroid injections and follow up appointments throughout a year period that is ALL INCLUDED IN THE SURGERY PRICE. That's what Dr. Jones proudly states on his website and when you call the practice number. The surgery went well but after my surgery is where the unacceptable, unprofessional, and lack of responsibility for my care started. Immediately after my surgery which began at 830am, I was sent to another floor for my first follow up laser treatment. I had to wait 2 whole hours to be seen by the laser tech!! I was in a ton of pain from the surgery and couldn't believe that they didn't take me immediately considering I was schedule for my procedure that day. It was painful and irresponsible medical care. That was my first sign of the deplorable service and after are at this business. Next, I was told I had to schedule follow up treatments in intervals so that they could monitor if the keloid was starting to return and if so slow down the growth of it. I proceeded to schedule a few appointments. One day prior to my follow up after care appointment at the Oxon Hill Location, I received a confirmation text for my appointment. But showed up the for the appointment for the office to be completely CLOSED!!! I couldn't believe a "reputable" surgery and medical practice would be completely closed on a day of a scheduled appointment they reminded me to come to! This happened twice since my surgery. You read that correctly. 2 times the office has not be available for my scheduled appointment for after care. The only number they have is a call center which has repeatedly "fielded" my calls to speak to management and the medical team and yet no one has called me back. The company states the success rate is largely due to the aftercare you receive and yet they don't provide it efficiently or professionally. My keloid is starting to return and the can't even have nurses or medical professionals available to respond. Medical care doesn't stop when the surgeon walks out the surgery room. This places lacks business operations, proper medical care staff, and leadership/CEO that cares about patients!! I paid for both the surgery and aftercare and haven not received it. read more

My experience at this office was life changing. I came to Lexington due to my skin issue after going to other dermatologist, and making it worse. Jenelle - patient care manager was very welcoming, explained the processes to calm me down, she scheduled my consultation and further had a successful surgery with Dr. Jones, who is the best. This office has been unprofessional from the beginning. Once I was cleared by my doctor for the procedure which was in Feb 2021, I paid for the procedure ($12,000.00) and waited for an appointment on March 18, 2021, but was never given one. After four months of waiting for an appointment, I tried contacting Lexington Plastics. They told me that they do not perform the tummy tuck procedure in Maryland but in New York. On April 7, 2023, I paid $8,500 for the excision of keloids and $2,000 for the upper abdominal liposuction deposit. However, during my pre-op appointment, the nurse/doctor informed me that I did not need these procedures. The scar was not a keloid, and I did not have enough fat for liposuction. As a result, I should not have been required to pay the $2,000 non-refundable deposit for liposuction and be refunded $8500 for the keloid removal. I demand a prompt refund for the total of $10,500 that I paid on April 7, 2023, for the upper abdominal liposuction and keloid excision procedures. I am still awaiting a response despite my attempts to contact the relevant parties through phone calls and emails. I started receiving treatment at Culturamed and I was happy to be getting serviced by other black professionals in the field. When they recommended for my scar revision that I should seek Lexington Plastic Surgeons, I didn't think twice. That was my mistake. I sensed it the first day I entered the Lexington office that this was not a genuine place; they do have genuine staff such as Mrs. Eleny but Felisha Devanugh is mischievous and only as kind to you as she needs to be to extract thousands of dollars out of individuals who are just looking to get help. The refund policy that this company has is distasteful, the run around to speak to anyone in the office is comical. I finally had enough and called the NY headquarters to speak to the finance department but the call center middleman they have barricading clients and the thieves is heavily guarded. There is NO number for the finance department and I was told I would receive a call back regarding an email address. I really wanted to believe in a black professional workplace and yet my own people have failed me yet again. I pray that no one else gets bamboozled like this ever again. These people are thieves, and something needs to be done. We aren't talking about hundreds of dollars but thousands. Oxon Hill Location: Back in Sept I received a consultation with Lula who was my coordinator. After much thought I decided to proceed with the procedure and the cost. On December 7th I reached out to LPS so that I may pay my deposit and schedule the procedure I have been hoping for. After many, many, calls and several messages left I have yet to receive a return call. I have call the 888 number, the 301 number and the 202. I sent an email to the LPS general email with no response. Attempted to make several call AGAIN and left more messages and I received an email from Lula stating she is not longer a coordinator and has changed position. She informed me that the office manager Taylor Pronesti would call me and help me with scheduling if i was still interested. I replied back and said i was interested. This was December 27 and I still have not received a return call. I am completely disappointed with the level of service provide by LPS company. This is a bad reflection on the DR Jones and staff. LPS please do not respond to this complaint to tell me to call your office when no one return call. I rate the customer service a ZERO!!!!! Going to this place was a total nightmare. I went in for an arm lift and bra fat removal and I got neither. My arm lift was horribly done. I have huge scars and arms still hang low. One arm got infected and I told the doctor it looked bad and he said it was fine, until it burst open. Then he said to come in for a debriefing in which I was up and smelled my burning flesh and felt most of what he was doing. The bra fat operation was never done. The doctor said he could not do it at the same time as the arm lift and would finish at a later date, then took off and moved to Miami. I paid them $6,400 dollars for absolutely nothing. When I returned for a check up the whole staff was replaced and no one knew what I was talking about and tried to sell me more procedures. Worst experience of my life. My advisor was polite, she explained all the areas of concern I asked about. Josie, educated on the procedure, safety measure, before/after requirements, recovery, and what I needed to do after the procedure. It was a very through consultation. had high hopes and was so excited to hopefully get my keloid issues addressed. I even drove a far distance to attend the consultation in person with Lula. She seemed nice. She had told me if I don't hear from her in a week, to please give a call and wrote her number on a piece of paper. She had also stated it may take 2 months for them to verify what my insurance can pay since they only have one person overseeing that in all locations. I thought that was odd at first but I didn't think too much into it. Well, the consultation was back in September and it is currently approaching the end of November. I called LPS about 4 times! The last time I called, the person I spoke to had documentation showing that I did call and stated a manager would call me this week. Well, it's currently Saturday and no one ended up calling. I am very appalled on how horrible this customer service is. I have never experienced this before. It's one thing if you say it's a process fine, but to not even follow up with your patients I just will never understand. I feel it's also quite odd you don't even meet with the doctor until you are scheduled for your surgery. But, with This type of customer service, how will I even trust the team? I have accepted that I may never get a follow up and even though my keloid situation is severe, I will just have to move on and find somewhere else that can take my issue seriously. I had a back and arm lift surgery last Aug 2022. I wanted to wait until I completely healed before writing a review. Let me start with saying the staff left the IV in my hand upon discharge. When I returned the next day, they took it out and then blamed me, saying, "why didn't you tell us it was still there." They claim to be a Keloid Specialist so why did I keloid? I began healing incorrectly in Dec 2022. It took months for someone and Jazzi, who was my coordinator to respond. She claimed that she never got any of my numerous messages. I finally was able to get a video conference and I sent in my pics and again it took months for someone to respond. I went it to discuss a scar revision and once again I was blamed for my body keloiding. Jazzi said, "Why didn't you tell me that you were susceptible to keloids?" We could have done radiation during your procedure. Well, first of all if you are aware that radiation will prevent a patient from keloiding, then why not offer that or include it in every procedure. No one really knows how their body is going to respond or heal. So, for her to say that I was angered and in complete disbelief. She offered me laser for $550 a session to repair or minimize the appearance of my scars. Jazzi indicated that I would need 6 sessions. I reluctantly paid for the first session and during my visit for the 2nd session I inquired about an alternative solution which was for a revision of my scars. I was quoted a price of $7,000. Now, why in the world would I pay $7,000 to repair or fix something your company messed up. I'm sorry but the trust factor is not there. Her reason for charging me so much was that they had to bring some machine to the office. Why is that my problem and why are they charging the patient for their office not having the appropriate equipment. Final result and overall opinion, I will NEVER refer anyone to this company. I was very excited after my initial consultation at this place. Went in to get a consultation for breast implant replacement, potential liposuction and neurotoxin in my forehead. For the plastic surgery, the next step was to sit down and speak with the Plastic Surgeon. I called twice to follow up and was told they didn't have the doctors schedule (after I had been told the day of my in person consult I would get a call that day or the next) a week and two weeks later. I also called the nurse practitioner twice to get the price on micro needling since she didn't know at the time of my consult and didn't call me that day to let me know either and never got a call back. Had been speaking with them for six months. I was given 100% wrong information from my 1st patient coordinator who literally disappeared after I was charged my fee. When I tried to follow up her number was disconnected. I was finally told that she was fired. I had to call no less than 9 times over the past two months to finally get someone to help me. It was totally unorganized and I never got a call back until I asked for a refund. I then spoke with a new coordinator who set a pre op. The doctor never even showed up for it. I sat on the call for over 20 minutes. It has just been a total disaster from the start. And, now I have been told I can not get a refund for the fee I paid as it is "against policy" However, it was never communicated to me verbally or in writing that there was any such policy. I have seen several negative reviews about this facility being unorganized and the lack of the staff's communication with their customers. I'm the type of person who doesn't believe everything that I hear. I like to see things myself before I start judging. This will be my second review that I ever posted about a facility. Honestly, I didn't even want to post this review. But, I have expressed my concerns and feelings with the staff on several occasions. I honestly felt like I was talking to a brick wall. So here is my experience with this facility.... March 22nd, I was quoted a price of 7,500 which included a 1,500 discount. I had to pay a 2,500 dollars deposit. The deposit was paid. Then on March 25th, I received a different quote through email. This quote was for 9,500. My initial surgery was June 7th. My appointment had to be rescheduled to October 11th. This time, it was my fault because I didn't lose enough weight to get my BMI down. THEN, it was rescheduled to October the 14th , due to no fault of my own. Since the 14th was only a couple of days from the 11th, I didn't have a issue with the new date. On September 23rd, I received a email from my consultant at almost 5:30 pm stating that she had just received a email saying, that my medical clearance had to be in by the end of the day or my surgery would have to be rescheduled. I then called the local office in Oxen Hill and spoke with someone. I was told to get my medical clearance in as soon as possible to try to keep my scheduled date for the 14th. I received my medical clearance within a couple of days. At this point, I was thinking everything was good to go. But I was wrong. I got a call on Oct 11th, saying that my surgery had to be rescheduled. I was told that the Dr. wanted to meet me in person after seeing my pictures, to discuss the procedure and etc. I was also told that he would be in the office on the 14th and 15th and that I would get a phone call on the 13th with a time and date to meet with him. We'll, I didn't get a phone call until the morning of October 15th, asking me to come in the same day at 3:00pm. At this point, I was starting to think, I was being pranked! So, being foolish, I got there about 3:10. I waited almost 3 and a half hours to get to the back. From the conversation I heard while I was back there. The Dr. didn't even know that I was there to see him. But, the Dr. was very polite and had a positive attitude while talking with me. He act as if he knew I was coming to see him that day . Lol After discussing details with the Dr. I still didn't get a new surgery date. So, I , called this morning to see about a possible surgery date. I was told November or December and that I would possibly have to go to the New York location. The whole point of me scheduling my surgery local, is because I didn't want to travel. Also, the reason I paid for this procedure out of pocket is because I didn't want to go through the long process with my insurance. But, all this time waisted, I could have went through my insurance. Now, that I want my refund back. I was told that it take 5 to 6 MONTHS to get it back. It don't even take that long for someone to get a brand new body. It's 2021 AINT NO WAY! This review is only going from first visit. I scheduled a free consultation and got a response in scheduling a day to come in. 2/12 at 10:30am was my scheduled date. I was greeted by the receptionist. She was very pleasant and asked me to fill out some paperwork. I did and she informed me of everything she will be doing and directed me to one of the available rooms. The office manger(Lawren) came in first she was very nice and relatable. She asked what I was looking for and asked did I have any questions and also gave me a price on the procedure. Once we were done she let me meet one of the surgeons(Dr. Giorgis) he was also nice. I explained to him what I wanted my end results to be and he gave me a few options in which finalized the procedure I wanted. Lastly I spoke with Lawren again and she answered all my questions and gave me a folder with information on the procedure I'll be getting and also the cost. I am a former New Yorker, so naturally I have heard of the legendary Dr. Jones and Lexington Plastic Surgeons brand. Now that I'm pushing 40, diet and exercise alone are not keeping all my parts in place if ya know what I mean! I didn't know exactly what I needed, but I knew the excess fat and loose skin around my abdomen HAD TO GO! I scheduled my consultation on a Monday and had the pleasure of meeting with Felisha-the office manager to discuss my options. She gave me so much information and was extremely welcoming and knowledgeable. I didn't feel any pressure, but she did let me know that liposuction might not make me 100% happy, as it won't fix the loose skin problem. I'm now scheduled to have a Tummy Tuck with Dr. Khiralla after the New Year. He was very personable, has great credentials and made me feel comfortable. My surgery date at Lexington Plastic Surgeons was July 23, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. All I will say is that after getting marked up by the surgeon, the anesthesiologist entered and began asking me questions. He was rude, agated, and seem to have memory problems; he told the surgeon that he had met me prior to the surgery date and told me that if he could not get the tube down my throat, he would only try twice. That was a lie, I never saw the man before July 23, 2018. This is because I alerted then of the fact that I was slow to come out from under anesthesia. Then by placing the stethoscope over the carotid artery in my neck, he said that he heard a rushing sound. He proceeded to walk out of the area saying that my doctor did not do a good job, and he don't have the right equipment for the procedure to be performed at that facility. He turned walked out, and I was told that the surgery was cancelled. I wasn't given anything I could take back to my doctor to specially stated what they found. Anyway, to make a long story short, I went back to my doctor, told him what happened and he checked the carotid artery in my neck and did not hear anything at all. I also went to a Cardiologist, who did not hear any rushing sounds. I really don't know what the problem was that day, but I do know it had nothing to do with me. I'm grateful that they cancelled the surgery, because I lost faith in the surgeon and the anesthesiologist. Now all I want is the $16,500.00 returned to my card. I should not have to continue to pay for services not render. To date Lexington Plastic Surgeons have been very unresponsive to my requests for the money back. This place is a joke! I had an appointment today at 12:30 for a consultation regarding a scar removal. As soon as I walked in I was put off by just the vibes of this location. It seemed like a "play office". I filled out my intake forms and was called back about 15 minutes later. I'm sitting and sitting and sitting waiting on the doctor to come in. Yea it never happened and no you won't see a doctor, you'll see someone dressed in a lab coat pretending to be a nurse or some med assistant of some sort. But I never got the chance to even meet the assistant. An hr had passed since I arrived and I walked out of the room and told the lady at the front desk this was unacceptable. Not one time did anyone come in to let me know that they were running behind or to check in. I was livid! My time is valuable and I live an hr away. So please go somewhere else! These people are unprofessional and walking around in lab coats playing doctor. They are not qualified to be doing any consultations. Their attitudes are off putting and I feel they could have cared less if I left or not. read more
